    "english": "Whatever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah, and He is the All-Mighty, All-Wise.",
    "kiswahili": "Kila kilicho mbinguni na duniani kimemsabihi Mwenyezi Mungu. Naye ndiye Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye hikima."

    "arabic": "لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ يُحۡىِۦ وَيُمِيتُۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ۬ قَدِيرٌ",
    "english": "To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. He gives life and causes death, and He has power over all things.",
    "kiswahili": "Ufalme wa mbingu na ardhi ni wake. Hufisha na huhuisha, naye ni Muweza wa kila kitu."

    "arabic": "هُوَ ٱلۡأَوَّلُ وَٱلۡأَخِرُ وَٱلظَّـٰهِرُ وَٱلۡبَاطِنُۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ عَلِيمٌ۬",
    "english": "He is the First and the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden, and He is All-Knowing of all things.",
    "kiswahili": "Yeye ndiye wa mwanzo na wa mwisho, wa dhahiri na wa siri. Naye ni Mwenye kujua kila kitu."

    "arabic": "هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ۬ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِۚ يَعۡلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهَا وَمَا يَنزِلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا يَعۡرُجُ فِيهَاۖ وَهُوَ مَعَكُمۡ أَيۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ۬",
    "english": "He is the One who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, then rose over the Throne. He knows what enters the earth and what comes out of it, what descends from the sky and what ascends therein. And He is with you wherever you are. And Allah sees whatever you do.",
    "kiswahili": "Yeye ndiye aliyeziumba mbingu na ardhi kwa siku sita; kisha akatawala juu ya Arshi. Anajua yanayoingia katika ardhi na yanayotoka humo, na yanayoteremka kutoka mbinguni na yanayopanda huko. Naye yupo pamoja nanyi popote mlipo. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kuyaona mnayoyatenda."

    "arabic": "لَّهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرۡجَعُ ٱلۡأُمُورُ",
    "english": "To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And to Allah all matters are returned.",
    "kiswahili": "Ufalme wa mbingu na ardhi ni wake, na mambo yote yanarudishwa kwa Mwenyezi Mungu."

    "arabic": "يُولِجُ ٱلَّيۡلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّيۡلِۚ وَهُوَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ",
    "english": "He merges the night into the day and merges the day into the night, and He is All-Knowing of what is in the breasts.",
    "kiswahili": "Anaingiza usiku katika mchana na mchana katika usiku. Naye ni Mwenye kujua yaliyomo katika vifua."

    "arabic": "ءَامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَأَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا جَعَلَكُم مُّسۡتَخۡلَفِينَ فِيهِۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمۡ وَأَنفَقُوا۟ لَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌۭ كَبِيرٌ۬",
    "english": "Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and spend from that which He has made you trustees over. For those who believe among you and spend, there is a great reward.",
    "kiswahili": "Muaminini Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake, na toeni katika yale aliyokufanyeni warithi. Na wale walioamini miongoni mwenu na wakatoa watapata thawabu kubwa."

    "arabic": "وَمَا لَكُمۡ لَا تُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولُ يَدۡعُوكُمۡ لِتُؤۡمِنُوا۟ بِرَبِّكُمۡ وَقَدۡ أَخَذَ مِيثَـٰقَكُمۡ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ",
    "english": "What is the matter with you that you do not believe in Allah, while the Messenger calls you to believe in your Lord, and He has indeed taken your covenant, if you are truly believers?",
    "kiswahili": "Mna nini hata hamsadiki Mwenyezi Mungu, na hali Mtume anakuiteni mumuamini Mola wenu, naye amekwisha kuchukueni ahadi yenu, ikiwa nyinyi ni Waumini?"

    "arabic": "هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُنَزِّلُ عَلَىٰ عَبۡدِهِۦٓ ءَايَـٰتٍ۬ بَيِّنَـٰتٍ۬ لِّيُخۡرِجَكُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُمۡ لَرَءُوفٌ۬ رَّحِيمٌ۬",
    "english": "It is He who sends down to His servant clear signs so that He may bring you out from darkness into light. Indeed, Allah is Kind and Merciful to you.",
    "kiswahili": "Yeye ndiye anayemteremshia Mja wake Ishara zilizo wazi ili akutoeni gizani muingie nuruni. Na hakika Mwenyezi Mungu kwenu ni Mpole na Mwenye kurehemu."

    "arabic": "وَمَا لَكُمۡ أَلَّا تُنفِقُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَٰثُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ لَا يَسۡتَوِى مِنكُم مَّنۡ أَنفَقَ مِن قَبۡلِ ٱلۡفَتۡحِ وَقَـٰتَلَۚ أُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ أَعۡظَمُ دَرَجَةً۬ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنفَقُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعۡدُ وَقَـٰتَلُوا۟ۚ وَكُلًّ۬ا وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ۬",
    "english": "And why do you not spend in the cause of Allah, while to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Not equal among you are those who spent before the victory and fought; they are greater in degree than those who spent afterwards and fought. But to all Allah has promised the best. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.",
    "kiswahili": "Na mna nini hata msitoe katika njia ya Mwenyezi Mungu, na hali ya kuwa urithi wa mbingu na ardhi ni wa Mwenyezi Mungu? Hawalingani wale waliotoa kabla ya kufunguliwa na wakapigana, wao wana daraja kubwa kuliko wale waliotoa baada ya kufunguliwa na wakapigana. Na wote Mwenyezi Mungu amewaahidi mema. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anazo khabari za mnayoyatenda."

    "arabic": "مَّن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يُقۡرِضُ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنً۬ا فَيُضَـٰعِفَهُۥ لَهُۥ وَلَهُۥٓ أَجۡرٌۭ كَرِيمٌ۬",
    "english": "Who is it that will lend to Allah a good loan, so that He may multiply it for him, and he will have a noble reward?",
    "kiswahili": "Ni nani atakayemkopesha Mwenyezi Mungu mkopo mwema ili amzidishie mara nyingi na apate malipo ya ukarimu?"

    "arabic": "يَوۡمَ تَرَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَـٰتِ يَسۡعَىٰ نُورُهُم بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَبِأَيۡمَـٰنِهِم بُشۡرَٮٰكُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ جَنَّـٰتٌ۬ تَجۡرِى مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۚ ذَٲلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ",
    "english": "On the Day you see the believing men and believing women, their light will be running before them and on their right. It will be said, ‘Glad tidings for you today: Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein forever.’ That is the supreme success.",
    "kiswahili": "Siku utakapo waona Waumini wanaume na Waumini wanawake, nuru yao ikikimbia mbele yao na kwa mikono yao ya kulia. (Wataambiwa:) ‘Khabari njema yenu leo: Bustani zipitazo mito chini yake, mtakaa humo milele.’ Huo ndio kufuzu kukubwa."

    "arabic": "يَوۡمَ يَقُولُ ٱلۡمُنَـٰفِقُونَ وَٱلۡمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتُ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱنظُرُونَا نَقۡتَبِسۡ مِن نُّورِكُمۡ قِيلَ ٱرۡجِعُوا۟ وَرَآءَكُمۡ فَٱلۡتَمِسُوا۟ نُورً۬ا فَضُرِبَ بَيۡنَهُم بِسُورٍ۬ لَّهُۥ بَابٌ۬ۖ بَاطِنُهُۥ فِيهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَةُ وَظَـٰهِرُهُۥ مِن قِبَلِهِ ٱلۡعَذَابُ",
    "english": "On the Day when the hypocrite men and women will say to those who believed: ‘Wait for us that we may borrow from your light.’ It will be said: ‘Go back behind you and seek light.’ Then a wall will be set up between them, with a gate: inside it is mercy, and outside it is punishment.",
    "kiswahili": "Siku ambayo wanaafiki wanaume na wanawake watawaambia walioamini: ‘Tutazameni tupate kuazima nuru yenu.’ Wataambiwa: ‘Rudini nyuma yenu mkatafute nuru.’ Basi baina yao patasimamishwa ukuta wenye mlango; ndani yake mna rehema, na nje yake mbele yake mna adhabu."

    "arabic": "يُنَادُونَهُمۡ أَلَمۡ نَكُن مَّعَكُمۡۖ قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ وَلَـٰكِنَّكُمۡ فَتَنتُمۡ أَنفُسَكُمۡ وَتَرَبَّصۡتُمۡ وَٱرۡتَبۡتُمۡ وَغَرَّتۡكُمُ ٱلۡأَمَانِىُّ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَ أَمۡرُ ٱللَّهِ وَغَرَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡغَرُورُ",
    "english": "They will call out to them, ‘Were we not with you?’ They will say, ‘Yes, but you led yourselves into temptation, you awaited, you doubted, and false hopes deceived you until the command of Allah came, and the deceiver deceived you concerning Allah.’",
    "kiswahili": "Watawaita: ‘Je, hatukuwa pamoja nanyi?’ Watasema: ‘Ndiyo, lakini mlijitumbukiza nafsi zenu katika fitina, mkangoja, mkatia shaka, na matumaini ya uongo yakaudanganyeni mpaka amri ya Mwenyezi Mungu ikaja, na mdanganyifu akakudanganyeni kumhusu Mwenyezi Mungu.’"

    "arabic": "فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ لَا يُؤۡخَذُ مِنكُمۡ فِدۡيَةٌ۬ وَلَا مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ۚ مَأۡوَىٰكُمُ ٱلنَّارُ هِىَ مَوۡلَٮٰكُمۡۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ",
    "english": "So today no ransom will be accepted from you, nor from those who disbelieved. Your refuge is the Fire; it is your master. And what a wretched destination!",
    "kiswahili": "Basi leo haitakubaliwa fidia kutoka kwenu wala kutoka kwa wale waliokufuru. Makao yenu ni Moto; huo ndio rafiki wenu. Na ni marejeo mabaya mno!"

    "arabic": "أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوٓا۟ أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ فَـٰسِقُونَ",
    "english": "Has not the time come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah and what has come down of the truth? And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened; and many of them are defiantly disobedient.",
    "kiswahili": "Je, bado haijawadia wakati kwa wale walioamini nyoyo zao zinyenyekee kwa ukumbusho wa Mwenyezi Mungu na yale yaliyoteremshwa katika haki? Wala wasiwe kama wale waliopewa Kitabu kabla yao, muda ukawa mrefu kwao, basi nyoyo zao zikawa ngumu; na wengi wao ni wapotovu."

    "arabic": "ٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحْىِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ",
    "english": "Know that Allah gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. We have made clear to you the signs that you might understand.",
    "kiswahili": "Jueni kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu huifufua ardhi baada ya kufa kwake. Tumekubainishieni Ishara ili mpate kufahamu."

    "arabic": "إِنَّ ٱلْمُصَّدِّقِينَ وَٱلْمُصَّدِّقَـٰتِ وَأَقْرَضُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًۭا يُضَـٰعَفُ لَهُمْ وَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌۭ كَرِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and who have loaned Allah a goodly loan - it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika wanaume wanaotoa sadaka na wanawake wanaotoa sadaka, na wakamkopesha Mwenyezi Mungu mkopo mwema, watarudishiwa mara nyingi, na watapata ujira mtukufu."

    "arabic": "وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦٓ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصِّدِّيقُونَ ۖ وَٱلشُّهَدَآءُ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ وَنُورُهُمْ ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْجَحِيمِ",
    "english": "And those who have believed in Allah and His messengers - those are the steadfast affirmers of truth. And the martyrs, with their Lord they will have their reward and their light. But those who disbelieved and denied Our signs - they are the companions of Hellfire.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale waliomuamini Mwenyezi Mungu na Mitume wake, hao ndio wasemao kweli kabisa. Na mashahidi wako kwa Mola wao, watapata ujira wao na nuru yao. Na wale waliokufuru na wakakadhibisha Ishara zetu, hao ndio watu wa Motoni."

    "arabic": "ٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا لَعِبٌۭ وَلَهْوٌۭ وَزِينَةٌۭ وَتَفَاخُرٌۭ بَيْنَكُمْ وَتَكَاثُرٌۭ فِى ٱلْأَمْوَٰلِ وَٱلْأَوْلَـٰدِ ۖ كَمَثَلِ غَيْثٍ أَعْجَبَ ٱلْكُفَّارَ نَبَاتُهُۥ ثُمَّ يَهِيجُ فَتَرَىٰهُ مُصْفَرًّۭا ثُمَّ يَكُونُ حُطَـٰمًۭا ۖ وَفِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ عَذَابٌۭ شَدِيدٌۭ وَمَغْفِرَةٌۭ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِضْوَٰنٌۭ ۚ وَمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَآ إِلَّا مَتَـٰعُ ٱلْغُرُورِ",
    "english": "Know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children. It is like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion.",
    "kiswahili": "Jueni kwamba maisha ya dunia ni mchezo na pumbao, na pambo, na kujifakhiri baina yenu, na kushindana kwa wingi wa mali na watoto. Mfano wake ni kama mvua ambayo mimea yake huwafurahisha wakulima; kisha ikakauka, ukaiona imesawijika, kisha ikawa mabua yaliyovunjika. Na Akhera kuna adhabu kali, na msamaha kutoka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu na radhi yake. Na maisha ya dunia si chochote ila ni starehe ya udanganyifu."

    "arabic": "سَابِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا كَعَرْضِ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ أُعِدَّتْ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلْفَضْلِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ",
    "english": "Race toward forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden whose width is like the width of the heaven and earth, prepared for those who believed in Allah and His messengers. That is the bounty of Allah which He gives to whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty.",
    "kiswahili": "Kimbilieni msamaha kutoka kwa Mola wenu, na Pepo ambayo upana wake ni kama upana wa mbingu na ardhi, imeandaliwa kwa wale waliomuamini Mwenyezi Mungu na Mitume wake. Hiyo ndiyo fadhila ya Mwenyezi Mungu, humpa amtakaye. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye fadhila kubwa."

    "ayah": 22,
    "arabic": "مَآ أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍۢ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ إِلَّا فِى كِتَـٰبٍۢ مِّن قَبْلِ أَن نَّبْرَأَهَآ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٌۭ",
    "english": "No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before We bring it into being - indeed that, for Allah, is easy -",
    "kiswahili": "Hakuna msiba unaoupata katika ardhi au katika nafsi zenu ila uko katika Kitabu kabla hatujaumba. Hakika hayo kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ni mepesi."

    "arabic": "لِّكَيْلَا تَأْسَوْا۟ عَلَىٰ مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا تَفْرَحُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍۢ فَخُورٍۢ",
    "english": "In order that you not despair over what has eluded you and not exult in pride over what He has given you. And Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful -",
    "kiswahili": "Ili msihuzunike kwa yaliyokupiteni, wala msifurahie kwa aliyokupeni. Na Mwenyezi Mungu hampendi kila mwenye majivuno, mwenye kujifakhiri."

    "arabic": "ٱلَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ وَيَأْمُرُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ بِٱلْبُخْلِ ۗ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْغَنِىُّ ٱلْحَمِيدُ",
    "english": "Those who are stingy and enjoin upon people stinginess. And he who turns away - then indeed, Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.",
    "kiswahili": "Wale wanaobakhili na kuwaamrisha watu ubakhili. Na atakayegeuka basi hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mkwasi, Mwenye kustahiki sifa."

    "arabic": "لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ وَأَنزَلْنَا مَعَهُمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ وَٱلْمِيزَانَ لِيَقُومَ ٱلنَّاسُ بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖ وَأَنزَلْنَا ٱلْحَدِيدَ فِيهِ بَأْسٌۭ شَدِيدٌۭ وَمَنَـٰفِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُۥ وَرُسُلَهُۥ بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَوِىٌّ عَزِيزٌۭ",
    "english": "We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain their affairs in justice. And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allah may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika tuliwatuma Mitume wetu kwa hoja zilizo wazi, na tukawateremshia Kitabu na Mizani ili watu wasimamie uadilifu. Na tukateremsha chuma, ndani yake mna nguvu kubwa na manufaa kwa watu, na ili Mwenyezi Mungu ajue nani anayemsaidia Yeye na Mitume wake kwa siri. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye kushinda."

    "arabic": "وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًۭا وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِى ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَٱلْكِتَـٰبَ ۖ فَمِنْهُم مُّهْتَدٍۢ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ فَـٰسِقُونَ",
    "english": "And We have already sent Noah and Abraham and placed in their descendants prophethood and scripture; and among them is he who is guided, but many of them are defiantly disobedient.",
    "kiswahili": "Na kwa yakini tulimtuma Nuh na Ibrahim, na tukajaalia katika kizazi chao Unabii na Kitabu. Basi miongoni mwao wako walioongoka, na wengi wao ni wapotovu."

    "arabic": "ثُمَّ قَفَّيْنَا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَـٰرِهِم بِرُسُلِنَا وَقَفَّيْنَا بِعِيسَى ٱبْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُ ٱلْإِنجِيلَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُ رَأْفَةًۭ وَرَحْمَةًۭ ۚ وَرَهْبَانِيَّةً ٱبْتَدَعُوهَا مَا كَتَبْنَـٰهَا عَلَيْهِمْ إِلَّا ٱبْتِغَآءَ رِضْوَٰنِ ٱللَّهِ فَمَا رَعَوْهَا حَقَّ رِعَايَتِهَا ۖ فَـَٔاتَيْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ فَـٰسِقُونَ",
    "english": "Then We sent following their footsteps Our messengers and followed them with Jesus, the son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel. And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy. But monasticism they innovated - We did not prescribe it for them - except seeking the approval of Allah. But they did not observe it with due observance. So We gave the ones who believed among them their reward, but many of them are defiantly disobedient.",
    "kiswahili": "Kisha tukawafuata kwa Mitume wetu katika nyayo zao, na tukamfuata Isa mwana wa Maryam, na tukampa Injili. Na tukajaalia katika nyoyo za waliomfuata upole na rehema. Na utawa waliouanzisha wao wenyewe, hatukuwabainishia huo, ila walitaka radhi za Mwenyezi Mungu; lakini hawakuuendea ipasavyo. Tukawapa wale walioamini miongoni mwao ujira wao, na wengi wao ni wapotovu."

    "arabic": "يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَءَامِنُوا۟ بِرَسُولِهِۦ يُؤْتِكُمْ كِفْلَيْنِ مِن رَّحْمَتِهِۦ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ نُورًۭا تَمْشُونَ بِهِۦ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "O you who have believed, fear Allah and believe in His Messenger; He will [then] give you a double portion of His mercy and make for you a light by which you will walk and forgive you; and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.",
    "kiswahili": "Enyi mlioamini! Mcheni Mwenyezi Mungu na muamini Mtume wake, Atakupeni sehemu mbili za rehema yake, na atakujaalieni nuru mtakayotembea kwayo, na atakusameheni. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kusamehe, Mwenye kurehemu."

    "arabic": "لِّئَلَّا يَعْلَمَ أَهْلُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ أَلَّا يَقْدِرُونَ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍۢ مِّن فَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ ۙ وَأَنَّ ٱلْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ ٱللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلْفَضْلِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ",
    "english": "So that the People of the Scripture may know that they are not able to obtain anything from the bounty of Allah and that all bounty is in the hand of Allah; He gives it to whom He wills. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty.",
    "kiswahili": "Ili watu wa Kitabu wajue kwamba hawana uwezo wa kupata chochote katika fadhila za Mwenyezi Mungu. Na kwamba fadhila zote zimo mkononi mwa Mwenyezi Mungu, humpa amtakaye. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye fadhila kubwa."
