    "english": "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.",
    "kiswahili": "Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu."

    "arabic": "ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ",
    "english": "All praise is for Allah, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And to Him belongs all praise in the Hereafter. And He is the Wise, the Acquainted.",
    "kiswahili": "Sifa zote ni za Allah, ambaye ni wake vyote vilivyo mbinguni na vyote vilivyo ardhini. Na sifa zote ni zake katika Akhera. Na Yeye ni Mwenye Hekima, Mjuzi."

    "arabic": "يَعْلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا وَمَا يَنزِلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ٱلْغَفُورُ",
    "english": "He knows what enters the earth and what emerges from it, what descends from the heaven and what ascends therein. And He is the Merciful, the Forgiving.",
    "kiswahili": "Yeye anajua kile kinacho ingia ardhini na kile kinacho toka ardhini, kile kinachoshuka kutoka mbinguni na kile kinacho pandisha humo. Na Yeye ni Mwenye Rehema, Mwenye Kusalama."

    "arabic": "وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَا تَأْتِينَا ٱلسَّاعَةُ ۖ قُلْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّى لَتَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ عَـٰلِمِ ٱلْغَيْبِ ۖ لَا يَعْزُبُ عَنْهُ مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّةٍۢ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَآ أَصْغَرُ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَآ أَكْبَرُ إِلَّا فِى كِتَـٰبٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ",
    "english": "And those who disbelieve say, 'The Hour will not come to us.' Say, 'Yes, by my Lord, it will surely come to you, the Knower of the unseen. Nothing is absent from Him, not even the weight of an atom in the heavens or the earth, nor anything smaller or greater, except in a clear record.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na walio kafiri wanasema, 'Saa haitatujia kwetu.' Sema, 'Ndiyo, kwa Mola wangu, hakika itakuja kwenu, Mjuzi wa siri zote. Hakuna chochote kinachomficha, hata uzito wa atomu mbinguni au ardhini, wala kitu chochote kidogo au kikubwa, isipokuwa katika kitabu kilicho wazi.'"

    "arabic": "لِّيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌۭ وَرِزْقٌۭ كَرِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "That He may reward those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them is forgiveness and a noble provision.",
    "kiswahili": "Ili awape waliyo amini na wakatende mema. Kwao kuna msamaha na riziki ya heshima."

    "arabic": "وَٱلَّذِينَ سَعَوْ فِىٓ ءَايَـٰتِنَا مُعَـٰجِزِينَ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ مِّن رِّجْزٍ أَلِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "But those who strive against Our signs, trying to frustrate them, for them is a painful punishment.",
    "kiswahili": "Na walio jitahidi kupinga ishara zetu, kwao kuna adhabu ya maumivu."

    "arabic": "وَيَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ هُوَ ٱلْحَقَّ وَيَهْدِىٓ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ",
    "english": "And those who have been given knowledge see that what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, guiding to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale waliyopewa maarifa wanaona kwamba kile kilicho funuliwa kwako kutoka kwa Mola wako ni kweli, kinachoelekeza kwenye njia ya Mwenye Nguvu, Mwenye Sifa za Heshima."

    "arabic": "وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ هَلْ نَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍۢ يُنَبِّئُكُمْ إِذَا مُزِّقْتُمْ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ إِنَّكُمْ لَفِى خَلْقٍۢ جَدِيدٍ",
    "english": "And those who disbelieve say, 'Shall we guide you to a man who will inform you when you are all disintegrated and in a new creation?'",
    "kiswahili": "Na walio kufuru wanasema, 'Tutaonyeshaje mtu atakayewaambia wakati mmeghubikwa wote na mtaumbwa upya?'"

    "arabic": "أَفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَم بِهِۦ جِنَّةٌۢ ۗ بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ وَٱلضَّلَـٰلِ ٱلْبَعِيدِ",
    "english": "Do they forge a lie against Allah, or is it madness in them? No, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are in torment and distant error.",
    "kiswahili": "Je, wananikadiria uwongo dhidi ya Allah, au ni wazimu ndani yao? La, walio kuto amini Akhera wako katika adhabu na upotofu wa mbali."

    "arabic": "أَفَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ إِن نَّشَأْ نَخْسِفْ بِهِمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ أَوْ نُسْقِطْ عَلَيْهِمْ كِسَفًۭا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ لِّكُلِّ عَبْدٍۢ مُّنِيبٍۢ",
    "english": "Have they not seen what is before them and what is behind them of the heaven and the earth? If We willed, We could cause the earth to swallow them or send down upon them fragments from the sky. Indeed, in that are signs for every servant who turns to Allah.",
    "kiswahili": "Je, hawajaona kilicho mbele yao na kilicho nyuma yao kutoka mbinguni na ardhini? Ikiwa tutataka, tunaweza kufanya ardhi iwakame au tutatuma mabaki kutoka mbinguni juu yao. Hakika, katika hayo kuna ishara kwa kila mtumishi anayegeukia Allah."

    "arabic": "وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا دَاوُۥدَ مِنَّا فَضْلًۭا ۖ يَـٰجِبَالُ أَوِّبِى مَعَهُۥ وَٱلطَّيْرَ ۖ وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ ٱلْحَدِيدَ",
    "english": "And We certainly granted David from Us bounty. 'O mountains, repeat [Our] praises with him, and [so do] the birds.' And We softened iron for him.",
    "kiswahili": "Na hakika tumempa Daudi kutoka kwetu neema. 'Enyi milima, rudieni sifa pamoja naye, na ndivyo ndege pia.' Na tulimlaini chuma kwake."

    "arabic": "أَنِ ٱعْمَلْ سَـٰبِغَـٰتٍۢ وَقَدِّرْ فِى ٱلسَّرْدِ ۖ وَٱعْمَلُوا۟ صَـٰلِحًا ۖ إِنِّى بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌۭ",
    "english": "And [We inspired] him, 'Construct the rings of the coats and measure [everything] with perfection. And work righteousness; indeed, I am Seeing of what you do.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na tulimwahidi, 'Jenga pete za mikanda kwa ukamilifu, na fanya mema; Hakika Mimi naona yale mnayofanya.'"

    "ayah": 12,
    "arabic": "وَلِسُلَيْمَـٰنَ ٱلرِّيحَ غُدُوُّهَا شَهْرٌۭ وَرَوَاحُهَا شَهْرٌۭ ۖ وَأَسَلْنَا لَهُۥ عَيْنَ ٱلْقِطْرِ ۖ وَمِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ مَن يَعْمَلُ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِۦ ۖ وَمَن يَزِغ مِنْهُم عَنْ أَمْرِنَا نُذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ",
    "english": "And for Solomon [We subjected] the wind, blowing by his command, toward the land he intended, gently wherever he wished. And We made a fountain of molten copper flow for him. And of the jinn, some worked for him by the permission of his Lord; but whoever deviated among them from Our command, We would make him taste the punishment of the Blaze.",
    "kiswahili": "Na kwa Sulaymani tulimdhibiti upepo, unasukuma kwa amri yake kwenda nchi aliyoipanga, kwa upole pale alipotaka. Na tulimfanya yeye awe na chemchemi ya shaba iliyoyeyuka. Na miongoni mwa majini, baadhi yao walimfanyia kazi kwa ruhusa ya Mola wake; lakini yule yeyote aliye kuteleza kutoka kwa amri yetu, tutamlazimisha adhabu ya Moto."

    "arabic": "يَعْمَلُونَ لَهُۥ مَا يَشَآءُ مِن مَّحَـٰرِيبَ وَتَمَـٰثِيلَ وَجِفَانٍۢ كَٱلْجَوَابِ وَقُدُورٍۢ رَّاسِيَـٰتٍ ۚ ٱعْمَلُوٓا۟ ءَالَ دَاوُۥدَ شُكْرًۭا ۚ وَقَلِيلٌۭ مِّنْ عِبَادِىَ ٱلشَّكُورُ",
    "english": "They made for him whatever he desired of sanctuaries, statues, large cauldrons, and cooking vessels. 'Work, O family of David, with gratitude.' And few of My servants are grateful.",
    "kiswahili": "Walimfanyia yeye kila alichotaka cha makanisa, sanamu, sufuria kubwa, na vyombo vya kupikia. 'Fanya kazi, Enzi za Daudi kwa shukrani.' Na wachache tu wa watumishi wangu wanashukuru."

    "arabic": "فَلَمَّا قَضَيْنَا عَلَيْهِ ٱلْمَوْتَ مَا دَلَّهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَوْتِهِۦٓ إِلَّا دَآبَّةُ ٱلْأَرْضِ تَأْكُلُ مِنسَأَتَهُۥ ۖ فَلَمَّا خَرَّ تَبَيَّنَتِ ٱلْجِنُّ أَن لَّوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ ٱلْغَيْبَ مَا لَبِثُوا۟ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْمُهِينِ",
    "english": "But when We decreed for him death, nothing indicated it to them except a creature of the earth consuming his staff. And when he fell, the jinn realized that if they had known the unseen, they would not have remained in humiliating punishment.",
    "kiswahili": "Lakini tulipo amua kifo chake, hakika waligundua jambo hilo tu kupitia kiumbe cha ardhini kilichokula fimbo yake. Na alipoanguka, majini walitambua kuwa wangejua kisichoonekana, wangebaki hawangekaa katika adhabu ya kunyanyaswa."

    "ayah": 15,
    "arabic": "لَقَدْ كَانَ لِسَبَإٍۢ فِى مَسْكَنِهِمْ ءَايَةٌۭ ۖ جَنَّتَانِ عَن يَمِينٍۢ وَشِمَالٍۢ ۖ كُلُوا۟ مِن رِّزْقِ رَبِّكُمْ وَٱشْكُرُوا۟ لَهُۥ ۚ بَلْدَةٌۭ طَيِّبَةٌۭ وَرَبٌّ غَفُورٌۭ",
    "english": "There was, for Sheba, a sign in their dwelling: two gardens on the right and the left. 'Eat of the provision of your Lord and be grateful to Him.' A good land and a forgiving Lord.",
    "kiswahili": "Kuna ishara kwa Saba katika makazi yao: bustani mbili upande wa kulia na kushoto. 'Kula riziki ya Mola wako na umshukuru.' Ardhi nzuri na Mola msamaha."

    "ayah": 16,
    "arabic": "فَأَعْرَضُوا۟ فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَيْلَ ٱلْعَرِمِ وَبَدَّلْنَـٰهُم بِجَنَّتَيْهِمْ جَنَّتَيْنِ ذَوَاتَىْ أُكُلٍ خَمْطٍۢ وَأَثْلٍۢ وَشَىْءٍۢ مِّن سِدْرٍۢ قَلِيلٍۢ",
    "english": "But they turned away, so We sent upon them the flood of al-'Arim and replaced their two gardens with two gardens producing bitter fruit, tamarisks, and sparse lote trees.",
    "kiswahili": "Lakini waligeuka, basi tulituma juu yao mafuriko ya al-'Arim na tukawa badilisha bustani zao mbili na bustani mbili zinazotoa matunda machungu, mnao, na miti michache ya lote."

    "ayah": 17,
    "arabic": "ذَٰلِكَ جَزَيْنَـٰهُم بِمَا كَفَرُوا۟ ۖ وَهَلْ نُجَـٰزِىٓ إِلَّا ٱلْكَفُورَ",
    "english": "That is how We recompensed them for their disbelief. And do We recompense except the ungrateful?",
    "kiswahili": "Hivyo ndivyo tulivyowapa malipo kwa kufuru kwao. Na Je, tunawapa malipo isipokuwa wale wasio shukuru?"

    "arabic": "وَجَعَلْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ ٱلْقُرَى ٱلَّتِى بَـٰرَكْنَا فِيهَا قُرًۭى ظَـٰهِرَةًۭ وَقَدَّرْنَا فِيهَا ٱلسَّيْرَ ۖ سِيرُوا۟ فِيهَا لَيَالِىَ وَأَيَّامًا ءَامِنِينَ",
    "english": "And We placed between them and the towns We had blessed, towns that were visible, and We determined in them travel; travel therein safely by night and day.",
    "kiswahili": "Na tukaweka kati yao na miji tuliyoibariki, miji iliyo wazi, na tukapanga safari ndani yake; enda ndani yake kwa usalama usiku na mchana."

    "arabic": "فَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا بَـٰعِدْ بَيْنَ أَسْفَارِنَا وَظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْ أَحَادِيثَ وَمَزَّقْنَـٰهُمْ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍۢ شَكُورٍۢ",
    "english": "They said, 'Our Lord, distance our journeys,' and they wronged themselves, so We made them tales and scattered them every fragment. Indeed, in that are signs for every patient, grateful one.",
    "kiswahili": "Walisema, 'Mola wetu, panda umbali katika safari zetu,' na walidhalilisha nafsi zao, basi tukawafanya hadithi na tukawasambaza kila kipande. Hakika katika hayo kuna ishara kwa kila mvumilivu, shukrani."

    "arabic": "وَلَقَدْ صَدَّقَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِبْلِيسُ ظَنَّهُۥ فَٱتَّبَعُوهُ إِلَّا فَرِيقًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ",
    "english": "And indeed, Satan confirmed for them his assumption, so they followed him except a group of the believers.",
    "kiswahili": "Na hakika Iblis alithibitisha kwao dhana yake, basi wakamfuata isipokuwa kundi la waumini."

    "arabic": "وَمَا كَانَ لَهُۥ عَلَيْهِم مِّن سُلْطَـٰنٍ إِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ مِمَّنْ هُوَ مِنْهَا فِى شَكٍّۢ ۗ وَرَبُّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ حَفِيظٌۭ",
    "english": "And he had no power over them except to test who would believe in the Hereafter from among them who were uncertain; and your Lord is, over all things, Guardian.",
    "kiswahili": "Na hakukuwa na mamlaka juu yao isipokuwa kujaribu ni nani atakayemuamini Mwisho kutoka kati yao waliokuwa na shaka; na Mola wako ndiye Mlinzi wa kila kitu."

    "ayah": 22,
    "arabic": "قُلِ ٱدْعُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍۢ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا لَهُمْ فِيهِمَا مِن شِرْكٍۢ وَمَا لَهُۥ مِنْهُم مِّن ظَهِيرٍۢ",
    "english": "Say, 'Call upon those whom you claim besides Allah; they do not possess the weight of an atom in the heavens or on the earth, nor do they have any share therein, nor is there for Him from them any helper.'",
    "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Mpige wito wale mnaowadai badala ya Allah; hawana hata uzito wa chembe katika mbingu au ardhini, wala hawana sehemu yoyote katika hayo, wala hapana msaidizi kwake kutoka kwao.'"

    "ayah": 23,
    "arabic": "وَلَا تَنفَعُ ٱلشَّفَـٰعَةُ عِندَهُۥٓ إِلَّا لِمَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُۥ ۚ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فُزِّعَ عَن قُلُوبِهِمْ قَالُوا۟ مَاذَا قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ ۖ قَالُوا۟ ٱلْحَقَّ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْكَبِيرُ",
    "english": "Intercession will not benefit with Him except for whom He permits. Until, when fear is removed from their hearts, they will say, 'What has your Lord said?' They will say, 'The truth,' and He is the Most High, the Great.",
    "kiswahili": "Upatanisho hautasaidia mbele Yeye isipokuwa kwa yule atakayemruhusu. Hadi, pale hofu itakapoondolewa mioyoni mwao, wanasema, 'Mola wenu amesema nini?' Wanasema, 'Haki,' na Yeye ndiye Aliye Juu, Mkubwa."

    "ayah": 24,
    "arabic": "قُلْ مَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ ۖ وَإِنَّآ أَوْ إِيَّاكُمْ لَعَلَىٰ هُدًى أَوْ فِى ضَلَـٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ",
    "english": "Say, 'Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth?' Say, 'Allah.' And indeed, we or you are either on guidance or in clear error.",
    "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Nani anaye wapatia riziki kutoka mbinguni na ardhini?' Sema, 'Allah.' Na hakika, sisi au ninyi tuko ama katika uongozi au katika upotevu wazi."

    "ayah": 25,
    "arabic": "قُل لَّا تُسْـَٔلُونَ عَمَّآ أَجْرَمْنَا وَلَا نُسْـَٔلُ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ",
    "english": "Say, 'You will not be asked about what We do, nor will We be asked about what you do.'",
    "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Hutahojiwa kuhusu yale tunayofanya, na hatutahojiwa kuhusu yale mnafanya.'"

    "ayah": 26,
    "arabic": "قُلْ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَنَا رَبُّنَا ثُمَّ يَفْتَحُ بَيْنَنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَهُوَ ٱلْفَتَّاحُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ",
    "english": "Say, 'Our Lord will gather us together, then He will judge between us in truth; and He is the Best Knower, the All-Aware.'",
    "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Mola wetu atatuunganisha pamoja, kisha Atatuhukumu kwa haki; na Yeye ndiye Mjuzi Bora, Mjuzi wa Kila kitu.'"

    "ayah": 27,
    "arabic": "قُلْ أَرُونِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَلْحَقْتُم بِهِۦ شُرَكَآءَ ۖ كَلَّا ۚ بَلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ",
    "english": "Say, 'Show me those whom you have associated with Him as partners.' No, but He is Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.",
    "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Nionyesheni wale mliowaunganisha pamoja naye.' Hapana, bali Yeye ndiye Allah, Mwenyezi, Mwerevu."

    "ayah": 28,
    "arabic": "وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ إِلَّا كَآفَّةًۭ لِّلنَّاسِ بَشِيرًۭا وَنَذِيرًۭا وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ",
    "english": "And We have not sent you except as a bringer of good tidings and a warner to all people; but most people do not know.",
    "kiswahili": "Na hatukutuma wewe isipokuwa kuwa mtoaji wa habari njema na mwonya kwa watu wote; lakini watu wengi hawajui."

    "ayah": 29,
    "arabic": "وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ",
    "english": "And they say, 'When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?'",
    "kiswahili": "Na wanasema, 'Ahadi hii itatimizwaje, ikiwa ninyi ni wa kweli?'"
  },

    "arabic": "قُل لَّكُم مِّيعَادُ يَوْمٍۢ لَّا تَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ عَنْهُ سَاعَةًۭ وَلَا تَسْتَقْدِمُونَ",
    "english": "Say, 'For you is the appointed day, a day from which you cannot delay nor hasten.'",
    "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Kwenu ni siku iliyokokolewa, siku ambayo hamtaweza kuichelewesha wala kuikimbilia.'"

    "arabic": "وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ بِهَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانِ وَلَا بِٱلَّذِى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ۗ وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إذِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ مَوْقُوفُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يَرْجِعُ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ ٱلْقَوْلَ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أَنتُمْ لَكُنَّا مُؤْمِنِينَ",
    "english": "And those who disbelieved say, 'We will never believe in this Qur’an nor in that which was before it.' If you could see when the wrongdoers are made to stand before their Lord, they will turn to one another and the oppressed will say to the arrogant, 'If it had not been for you, we would have been believers.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale waliokana wanasema, 'Hatuamini Qur’ani hii wala ile iliyo kabla yake.' Laki inaweza ukaona pale wahalifu wakiwa wamesimama mbele ya Mola wao, wangegeukana kwa kila mmoja na wanyenyekevu wanasema kwa wanyenyekevu wakubwa, 'Kama singekuwa nanyi, tungekuwa waamini.'"

    "arabic": "قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعَفُوٓا۟ أَنَحْنُ صَدَدْنَـٰكُمْ عَنِ ٱلْهُدَىٰ بَعْدَ إِذْ جَآءَكُم ۖ بَلْ كُنتُم مُّجْرِمِينَ",
    "english": "The arrogant will say to the oppressed, 'Did we prevent you from guidance after it came to you? No, but you were criminals.'",
    "kiswahili": "Wanyenyekevu wakubwa wanasema kwa wanyenyekevu, 'Je, tumezuia kutoka kwenu mwongozo baada ya kuja kwenu? Hapana, bali ninyi mlikuwa wawaasi.'"

    "arabic": "وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعَفُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ بَلْ مَكْرُ ٱللَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذْ تَأْمُرُونَنَآ أَن نَّكْفُرَ بِٱللَّهِ وَنَجْعَلَ لَهُۥٓ أَندَادًۭا ۚ وَأَسَرُّوا۟ ٱلنَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلْأَغْلَـٰلَ فِىٓ أَعْنَاقِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۚ هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ",
    "english": "And the oppressed will say to the arrogant, 'Rather, your plot of the night and day to make us disbelieve in Allah and set up equals for Him has failed.' And they will conceal their regret when they see the punishment, and We will place shackles on the necks of the disbelievers. Will they be rewarded for anything except what they used to do?",
    "kiswahili": "Na wanyenyekevu wanasema kwa wanyenyekevu wakubwa, 'Bali mpango wenu wa usiku na mchana kutufanya tukana na Allah na kumweka wasawa naye umeshindikana.' Na wataficha majuto yao walipouona adhabu, na tutawatia mnyororo shingoni mwa wakana. Je, watapata malipo zaidi ya yale waliyokuwa wakiifanya?"

    "arabic": "وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا فِى قَرْيَةٍۢ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتْرَفُوهَآ إِنَّا بِمَآ أُرْسِلْتُم بِهِۦ كَـٰفِرُونَ",
    "english": "And We sent no warner to any town but its affluent people said, 'Indeed, we disbelieve in what you have been sent with.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na hatutumii mwonya katika mji wowote isipokuwa watu wake wenye utajiri wanasema, 'Hakika hatuamini kile mliotumwa nacho.'"

    "arabic": "وَقَالُوا۟ نَحْنُ أَكْثَرُ أَمْوَٰلًۭا وَأَوْلَـٰدًۭا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ",
    "english": "And they said, 'We have more wealth and children, and we will not be punished.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na wanasema, 'Tuna mali nyingi na watoto, na hatutadhulumiwa.'"

    "arabic": "قُلْ إِنَّ رَبِّى يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقْدِرُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ",
    "english": "Say, 'Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills and restricts it, but most people do not know.'",
    "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Hakika Mola wangu humeneza riziki kwa yule anayetaka na kuipunguza, lakini watu wengi hawajui.'"

    "arabic": "وَمَآ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَـٰدُكُم بِٱلَّتِى تُقَرِّبُكُمْ عِندَنَا زُلْفَىٰٓ إِلَّا مَنْ ءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَـٰلِحًۭا فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ جَزَآءُ ٱلضِّعْفِ بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَهُمْ فِى ٱلْغُرُفَـٰتِ ءَامِنُونَ",
    "english": "And neither your wealth nor your children will bring you nearer to Us except those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them is a double reward for what they did, and they will be in the upper chambers, secure.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wala mali zenu wala watoto wenu hawatakukaribisha kwetu isipokuwa wale waliyo amini na kufanya mema. Kwao ni malipo mara mbili kwa matendo yao, na watakuwa katika vyumba vya juu, wakiwa salama."

    "arabic": "وَٱلَّذِينَ يَسْعَوْنَ فِىٓ ءَايَـٰتِنَا مُعَـٰجِزِينَ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ مُحْضَرُونَ",
    "english": "But those who strive to make Our signs void — they are the ones to be brought into punishment.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale wanaojitahidi kufanya ishara zetu zisizotimie — hao ndilo wataloletwa kwenye adhabu."

    "arabic": "قُلْ إِنَّ رَبِّى يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهُۥ ۚ وَمَآ أَنفَقْتُم مِّن شَىْءٍۢ فَهُوَ يُخْلِفُهُۥ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ",
    "english": "Say, 'Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills among His servants and restricts it for whom He wills. And whatever you spend of anything, He will replace it, and He is the best of providers.'",
    "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Hakika Mola wangu humeneza riziki kwa yule anayetaka miongoni mwa watumishi wake na kuipunguza kwa yeyote anayetaka. Na kile chochote mnachotumia, Atakibadilisha, naye ndiye bora wa watoaji.'"

    "arabic": "وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًۭا ثُمَّ يَقُولُ لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ أَهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِيَّاكُمْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْبُدُونَ",
    "english": "And the Day He will gather them all together and say to the angels, 'Were these the ones you used to worship?'",
    "kiswahili": "Na siku atakapowaikusanya wote pamoja na kusema kwa malaika, 'Hawa ndizo mlizowahi kuwa waabudu?'"

    "arabic": "قَالُوا۟ سُبْحَـٰنَكَ أَنتَ وَلِيُّنَا مِن دُونِهِم ۖ بَلْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْبُدُونَ ٱلْجِنَّ ۖ أَكْثَرُهُم بِهِم مُّؤْمِنُونَ",
    "english": "They will say, 'Exalted are You! You are our Protector instead of them, but they used to worship the jinn; most of them believed in them.'",
    "kiswahili": "Watasema, 'Umetukuka! Wewe ndiye Mlinzi wetu badala yao, lakini walikuwa wakiabudu majini; wengi wao waliwaamini.'"

    "ayah": 42,
    "arabic": "فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا يَمْلِكُ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍۢ نَّفْعًۭا وَلَا ضَرًّۭا وَنَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ",
    "english": "Today, no one will have power over another, and We will say to the wrongdoers, 'Taste the punishment of the Fire which you used to deny.'",
    "kiswahili": "Leo, hakuna atakayekuwa na nguvu juu ya mwingine, na tuseme kwa wanyang'anyi, 'Oneni adhabu ya Moto ambayo mlitodhani.'"

    "arabic": "وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَـٰتُنَا بَيِّنَـٰتٍۢ قَالُوا۟ مَا هَـٰذَآ إِلَّا رَجُلٌۭ يُرِيدُ أَن يَصُدَّكُمْ عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُكُمْ وَقَالُوا۟ مَا هَـٰذَآ إِلَّآ إِفْكٌۭ مُّفْتَرًۭى ۚ وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ إِنْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ",
    "english": "And when Our clear signs are recited to them, they say, 'This is nothing but a man who wishes to turn you away from what your forefathers used to worship.' And they say, 'This is nothing but a fabricated lie.' And those who disbelieve say about the truth when it comes to them, 'This is nothing but clear magic.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na wakati ishara zetu za wazi zikisomwa kwao, wanasema, 'Huyu ni mtu tu anayetaka kuwageukisha kutoka kile walichokuwa wakiabudu mababu zenu.' Wanasema, 'Hii ni uongo tu uliotengenezwa.' Na wale wasioamini wanasema kuhusu ukweli wakati unawafikia, 'Hii ni uchawi wazi tu.'"

    "arabic": "وَمَآ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُم مِّن كُتُبٍۢ يَدْرُسُونَهَا ۖ وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْهِمْ قَبْلَكَ مِن نَّذِيرٍۢ",
    "english": "And We gave them no scriptures to study, nor did We send any warner to them before you.",
    "kiswahili": "Na hatukuwa tumewaambia vitabu vya kusoma, wala hatukutuma mwonya kwao kabla yako."

    "arabic": "وَكَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَمَا بَلَغُوا۟ مِعْشَارَ مَآ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ فَكَذَّبُوا۟ رُسُلِى ۖ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ",
    "english": "And those before them also denied, yet they did not attain a tenth of what We had given them; they denied My messengers. So how was My denial (punishment)?",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale waliotangulia pia walikana, lakini hawakufikia kumi ya kile tulichowapa; walikana Mitume Yangu. Basi je, hukumu yangu ilikuwaje?"

    "arabic": "قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَعِظُكُم بِوَٰحِدَةٍ ۖ أَن تَقُومُوا۟ لِلَّهِ مَثْنَىٰ وَفُرَٰدَىٰ ثُمَّ تَتَفَكَّرُوا۟ ۚ مَا بِصَاحِبِكُم مِّن جِنَّةٍ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌۭ لَّكُم بَيْنَ يَدَىْ عَذَابٍۢ شَدِيدٍۢ",
    "english": "Say, 'I only advise you of one thing: that you stand for Allah in pairs and alone, then reflect.' There is no madness in your companion; he is only a warner to you before a severe punishment.",
    "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Ninaonya tu jambo moja kwenu: kuwa wamesimama mbele ya Allah kwa jozi na peke yao, kisha fafanue.' Hakuna kichaa kwa rafiki wako; yeye ni mwonya kwenu mbele ya adhabu kali."

    "arabic": "قُلْ مَا سَأَلْتُكُم مِّنْ أَجْرٍۢ فَهُوَ لَكُمْ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ شَهِيدٌۭ",
    "english": "Say, 'I do not ask you for any reward for this; it is for you. My reward is only with Allah, and He is a Witness over all things.'",
    "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Sina kuomba malipo yoyote kwenu kwa hili; ni kwenu. Malipo yangu yapo kwa Allah tu, naye ndiye Shahidi wa kila kitu.'"

    "arabic": "قُلْ إِنَّ رَبِّى يَقْذِفُ بِٱلْحَقِّ عَلَّـٰمُ ٱلْغُيُوبِ",
    "english": "Say, 'Indeed, my Lord casts the truth; He is the Knower of the unseen.'",
    "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Hakika Mola wangu hutoroka kwa haki; Yeye ndiye Mjuzi wa siri zote.'"

    "arabic": "قُلْ جَآءَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَمَا يُبْدِئُ ٱلْبَـٰطِلُ وَمَا يُعِيدُ",
    "english": "Say, 'The truth has come, and falsehood neither begins anything nor repeats.'",
    "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Ukweli umefika, na uongo hauanzishi wala kurudia.'"

    "arabic": "قُلْ إِن ضَلَلْتُ فَإِنَّمَآ أَضِلُّ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِى ۖ وَإِنِ ٱهْتَدَيْتُ فَبِمَا يُوحِىٓ إِلَىَّ رَبِّىٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ سَمِيعٌۭ قَرِيبٌۭ",
    "english": "Say, 'If I go astray, I only stray against myself; but if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. Indeed, He is Hearing and Near.'",
    "kiswahili": "Sema, 'Ikiwa nitapotea, napotea tu kwa nafsi yangu; lakini ikiwa napongezwa, ni kwa kile ambacho Mola wangu ananifunulia. Hakika Yeye ni Mwenye Kusikia na Karibu.'"

    "arabic": "وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إذْ فَزِعُوا۟ فَلَا فَوْتَ وَأُخِذُوا۟ مِن مَّكَانٍۢ قَرِيبٍۢ",
    "english": "And if you could see when they are terrified, but there is no escape, and they are seized from a near place.",
    "kiswahili": "Na kama ungeviona wanapogopa, lakini hakuna pa kukimbia, na wanakamatwa kutoka sehemu ya karibu."

    "arabic": "وَقَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلتَّنَاوُشُ مِن مَّكَانٍۭ بَعِيدٍۢ",
    "english": "And they will say, 'We have believed in it,' but how could they reach it from a distant place?",
    "kiswahili": "Na wanasema, 'Tumeamini kwake,' lakini walikuwa wangefikaje kutoka mbali?"

    "arabic": "وَقَدْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَيَقْذِفُونَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ مِن مَّكَانٍۭ بَعِيدٍۢ",
    "english": "And they had already disbelieved in it before, and they cast [falsehood] from afar concerning the unseen.",
    "kiswahili": "Na walikuwa tayari wakikana hilo hapo awali, na walitupa [uongo] kutoka mbali kuhusu siri."

    "arabic": "وَحِيلَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ مَا يَشْتَهُونَ كَمَا فُعِلَ بِأَشْيَاعِهِم مِّن قَبْلُ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ فِى شَكٍّۢ مُّرِيبٍۭ",
    "english": "And there will be a barrier between them and what they desire, as had been done with their kind before. Indeed, they were in doubtful uncertainty.",
    "kiswahili": "Na kutakuwa na kizuizi kati yao na wanachotaka, kama kilivyofanyika kwa wafuasi wao wa zamani. Hakika walikuwa katika shaka kubwa."
