    "english": "A guidance and a mercy for the doers of good.",

    "arabic": "ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُم بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ",
    "english": "Who establish prayer and give zakah, and they, of the Hereafter, are certain [in faith].",
    "kiswahili": "Ambao wanaweka sala na watoe zaka, nao wakiwa na hakika kuhusu Akhera."

    "arabic": "أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدًۭى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ",
    "english": "It is they who are guided by their Lord, and it is they who will be successful.",
    "kiswahili": "Wao ndio wafuataji wa uongozi wa Mola wao, nao ndio wenye mafanikio."

    "arabic": "وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَشْتَرِى لَهْوَ ٱلْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍۢ وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًا ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ مُّهِينٌۭ",
    "english": "And of the people is he who buys idle talk to mislead [others] from the path of Allah without knowledge and takes it in ridicule. For them is a humiliating punishment.",
    "kiswahili": "Na kati ya watu wapo wanaonunua mazungumzo yasiyo na maana ili waipotoshe njia ya Allah bila maarifa, wakayachukulia kama vicheko. Kwao kuna adhabu ya kudhuru."

    "arabic": "وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَـٰتُنَا وَلَّىٰ مُسْتَكْبِرًۭا كَأَن لَّمْ يَسْمَعْهَا كَأَنَّ فِىٓ أُذُنَيْهِ وَقْرًۭا ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ",
    "english": "And when Our verses are recited to him, he turns away arrogantly as if he had not heard them, as if there were deafness in his ears. So give him tidings of a painful punishment.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wakati aya zetu zinapomsomwa, anageuka kwa kiburi kana kwamba hajasikia, kana kwamba masikio yake yamesikia uzito. Basi mpatie habari ya adhabu yenye maumivu."

    "arabic": "إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّـٰتُ ٱلنَّعِيمِ",
    "english": "Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds – for them are the Gardens of Delight.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika, walio amini na kufanya mema, kwao kuna Bustani za Furaha."

    "arabic": "خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقًّۭا ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ",
    "english": "They will abide therein; a true promise of Allah. And He is the Almighty, the Wise.",
    "kiswahili": "Watadumu humo; ahadi ya kweli ya Allah. Naye ni Mwenye Nguvu, Mwenye Hekima."

    "ayah": 10,
    "arabic": "خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍۢ تَرَوْنَهَا ۖ وَأَلْقَىٰ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ رَوَٰسِىَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍۢ ۚ وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍۢ كَرِيمٍ",
    "english": "He created the heavens without pillars that you see, and He placed firm mountains in the earth so it would not shake with you, and He spread therein all kinds of creatures. And We sent down water from the sky, causing to grow in it every noble pair.",
    "kiswahili": "Aliumba mbingu bila nguzo mniyoziona, na aliweka milima thabiti ardhini ili isitetemeke nanyi, na akasambaza aina zote za viumbe. Naye tukatupa mvua kutoka mbinguni, tukaleta kukua kwake kila jozi ya heshima."

    "ayah": 11,
    "arabic": "هَـٰذَا خَلْقُ ٱللَّهِ فَأَرُونِى مَاذَا خَلَقَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِۦ ۚ بَلِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ فِى ضَلَـٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ",
    "english": "This is the creation of Allah. So show Me what those other than Him have created. Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error.",
    "kiswahili": "Hii ni uumbaji wa Allah. Basi onyesheni ninyi mnayejitofautisha naye mmeliumba nini? Hakika walioonewa wako katika upotovu wazi."

    "arabic": "وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا لُقْمَـٰنَ ٱلْحِكْمَةَ أَنِ ٱشْكُرْ لِلَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يَشْكُرْ فَإِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَنِىٌّ حَمِيدٌۭ",
    "english": "And We certainly gave Luqman wisdom: 'Be grateful to Allah.' And whoever is grateful does so for the benefit of his own soul; but whoever is ungrateful, then indeed, Allah is Free of need, Praiseworthy.",
    "kiswahili": "Na hakika tukampa Luqman hekima: 'Shukuru Allah.' Na ambae anashukuru, anashukuru kwa faida yake mwenyewe; na ambae anakana, hakika Allah hahitaji chochote, Naye ni Mwenye Sifa Njema."

    "ayah": 13,
    "arabic": "وَإِذْ قَالَ لُقْمَـٰنُ لِٱبْنِهِۦ وَهُوَ يَعِظُهُۥ يَـٰبُنَىَّ لَا تُشْرِكْ بِٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّ ٱلشِّرْكَ لَظُلْمٌ عَظِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "And [mention, O Muhammad], when Luqman said to his son while instructing him: 'O my son, do not associate [anything] with Allah. Indeed, associating partners with Him is a great injustice.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na kumbuka, Luqman alipoambia mwanawe akiwa na mawaidha: 'Mwana wangu, usiweke washirikina na Allah. Hakika kushirikisha naye ni dhulma kubwa.'"

    "ayah": 14,
    "arabic": "وَصَّيْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ بِوَٰلِدَيْهِ حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُۥ وَهْنًا عَلَىٰ وَهْنٍۢ وَفِصَـٰلُهُۥ فِى عَامَيْنِ أَنِ ٱشْكُرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَيْكَ إِلَىَّ ٱلْمَصِيرُ",
    "english": "And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning [period] is thirty months. Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the [final] destination.",
    "kiswahili": "Na tumeamrisha mwanadamu kuheshimu wazazi wake. Mama yake alimbeba kwa taabu na kumzaa kwa taabu, na mimba na kulelewa kwake ni miaka miwili. Shukuru Kwangu na kwa wazazi wako; kwangu ndiko mwisho."

    "ayah": 15,
    "arabic": "وَإِن جَـٰهَدَاكَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن تُشْرِكَ بِى مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلْمٌۭ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَا ۖ وَصَاحِبْهُمَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا مَعْرُوفًۭا ۖ وَٱتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ مَنْ أَنَابَ إِلَىَّ ۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ",
    "english": "But if they strive to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them. Be kind to them in the world, and follow the way of those who turn to Me. Then to Me will be your return, and I will inform you of what you used to do.",
    "kiswahili": "Na iwapo wakijaribu kukuamrisha umshirikishe Mola wangu, ambacho huna maarifa, usiwatii. Wenyesheni wema duniani, na fuata njia ya wale wanaonigeukia. Kisha kwangu ndiko kurudi kwenu, nitakuarifu mliyokuwa mnafanya."

    "ayah": 16,
    "arabic": "يَـٰبُنَىَّ إِنَّهَآ إِن تَكُ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍۢ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍۢ فَتَكُن فِى صَخْرَةٍ أَوْ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ أَوْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ يَأْتِ بِهَا ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَطِيفٌ خَبِيرٌۭ",
    "english": "O my son, indeed, if it is [even] the weight of a mustard seed and is in a rock, or in the heavens or in the earth, Allah brings it forth. Indeed, Allah is Subtle, Acquainted.",
    "kiswahili": "Mwana wangu, hakika kama ni uzito wa chembe ya haradali iwe ndani ya jiwe, au mbinguni au ardhini, Allah ataileta. Hakika Allah ni Mnyenyekevu, Mwenye Kujuwa."

    "ayah": 17,
    "arabic": "يَـٰبُنَىَّ أَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأْمُرْ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَٱنْهَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ وَٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَصَابَكَ ۖ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ ٱلْأُمُورِ",
    "english": "O my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, that is of the matters [requiring] determination.",
    "kiswahili": "Mwana wangu, weka sala, amrisha mema, ukae kinyume cha maovu, na uvumilie yale yanayokukuta. Hakika hayo ni mambo yanayohitaji uthabiti."

    "ayah": 18,
    "arabic": "وَلَا تُصَعِّرْ خَدَّكَ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَمْشِ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍۢ فَخُورٍۢ",
    "english": "And do not turn your cheek [in contempt] toward people and do not walk through the earth exultantly. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful.",
    "kiswahili": "Na usigeuze uso wako kwa watu kwa kiburi, wala usitembee ardhini kwa majivuno. Hakika Allah hapendi kila mwenye kujidanganya na kujivunia."

    "ayah": 19,
    "arabic": "وَٱقْصِدْ فِى مَشْيِكَ وَٱغْضُضْ مِن صَوْتِكَ ۚ إِنَّ أَنكَرَ ٱلْأَصْوَٰتِ لَصَوْتُ ٱلْحَمِيرِ",
    "english": "And be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys.",
    "kiswahili": "Na kuwa wastani katika matembezi yako na punguza sauti yako; hakika sauti mbaya zaidi ni ya punda."

    "ayah": 20,
    "arabic": "أَلَمْ تَرَوْا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَأَسْبَغَ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعَمَهُۥ ظَـٰهِرَةًۭ وَبَاطِنَةًۭ ۗ وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يُجَـٰدِلُ فِى ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍۢ وَلَا هُدًۭى وَلَا كِتَـٰبٍۢ مُّنِيرٍۢ",
    "english": "Do you not see that Allah has subjected to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth and has perfected His favors upon you, apparent and hidden? And among people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or a illuminating Book.",
    "kiswahili": "Je, haujaona kuwa Allah amekudhibiti kile kilicho mbinguni na kile kilicho ardhini, na amekamilisha neema Zake juu yenu, wazi na siri? Na miongoni mwa watu wapo wanaojadiliana kuhusu Allah bila maarifa, hila au Kitabu kinachowaka."

    "ayah": 21,
    "arabic": "وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ قَالُوا۟ بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ ءَابَآءَنَآ ۚ أَوَلَوْ كَانَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ",
    "english": "And when it is said to them, 'Follow what Allah has revealed,' they say, 'Rather, we will follow that upon which we found our fathers.' Even though Satan invites them to the punishment of the Blaze.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wakati wanasemwa, 'Fuateni kilicho tolewa na Allah,' wanasema, 'Bali tutafuata kile tulichokipata kwa wazee wetu.' Hata kama Ibilisi anawaalika kwenye adhabu ya Moto Mkali."

    "arabic": "وَمَن يُسْلِمْ وَجْهَهُۥٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌۭ فَقَدِ ٱسْتَمْسَكَ بِٱلْعُرْوَةِ ٱلْوُثْقَى ۗ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلْأُمُورِ",
    "english": "And whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah is the outcome of all matters.",
    "kiswahili": "Na ambae amemgeukia uso wake Allah akiwa mtenda mema, hakika ameshikilia shina thabiti. Na kw Allah ndiko mwisho wa mambo yote."

    "ayah": 23,
    "arabic": "وَمَن كَفَرَ فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ كُفْرُهُۥٓ ۚ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ",
    "english": "And whoever disbelieves – let not his disbelief grieve you. To Us is their return, and We will inform them of what they used to do. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what is in the breasts.",
    "kiswahili": "Na ambae anakana, usiwe huzuni kwa kutoamini kwake. Kwetu ndiko kurudi kwenu, na tutawaarifu wanayofanya. Hakika Allah anajua yaliyomo ndani ya mioyo."

    "arabic": "نُمَتِّعُهُمْ قَلِيلًۭا ثُمَّ نَضْطَرُّهُمْ إِلَىٰ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٍۢ",
    "english": "We grant them enjoyment for a little; then We will force them to a severe punishment.",
    "kiswahili": "Tuwapatie kufurahia kidogo, kisha tutawalazimisha kwenye adhabu kali."

    "ayah": 25,
    "arabic": "وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُ ۚ قُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ",
    "english": "And if you ask them who created the heavens and the earth, they will surely say, 'Allah.' Say, 'Praise be to Allah.' But most of them do not know.",
    "kiswahili": "Na kama uwahoji nani aliyeumba mbingu na ardhi, hakika wanasema, 'Allah.' Sema, 'Sifa za Allah.' Lakini wengi wao hawajui."

    "ayah": 26,
    "arabic": "لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْغَنِىُّ ٱلْحَمِيدُ",
    "english": "To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Indeed, Allah is the Free of need, Praiseworthy.",
    "kiswahili": "Yote yaliyo mbinguni na ardhi ni ya Allah. Hakika Allah ni Mwenye Uhuru, Mwenye Sifa Njema."

    "ayah": 27,
    "arabic": "وَلَوْ أَنَّمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مِن شَجَرَةٍ أَقْلَـٰمٌۭ وَٱلْبَحْرُ يَمُدُّهُۥ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ سَبْعَةُ أَبْحُرٍۢ مَّا نَفِدَتْ كَلِمَـٰتُ ٱللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌۭ",
    "english": "And if all the trees on earth were pens and the sea [were ink] replenished after it seven more seas, the words of Allah would not be exhausted. Indeed, Allah is Mighty and Wise.",
    "kiswahili": "Na kama miti yote duniani ingekuwa kalamu na bahari ikatiririka baadaye bahari saba, maneno ya Allah hayataisha. Hakika Allah ni Mwenye Nguvu, Mwenye Hekima."

    "ayah": 28,
    "arabic": "مَّا خَلْقُكُمْ وَلَا بَعْثُكُمْ إِلَّا كَنَفْسٍۢ وَٰحِدَةٍ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌۢ بَصِيرٌ",
    "english": "Your creation and resurrection are only as one soul. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing.",
    "kiswahili": "Uumbaji wenu na kufufuka kwenu ni kama nafsi moja. Hakika Allah anasikia na anaona."

    "ayah": 29,
    "arabic": "أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُولِجُ ٱلَّيْلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ كُلٌّۭ يَجْرِىٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ مُّسَمًّۭى وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌۭ",
    "english": "Do you not see that Allah merges the night into the day and merges the day into the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running to an appointed term? And Allah is Acquainted with what you do.",
    "kiswahili": "Je, haujaona kuwa Allah huunganisha usiku na mchana na mchana na usiku, na amekudhibiti jua na mwezi, kila kikienda hadi wakati uliopangwa? Na Allah anajua mnayofanya."

    "ayah": 30,
    "arabic": "ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَأَنَّ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ ٱلْبَـٰطِلُ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْكَبِيرُ",
    "english": "That is because Allah is the Truth, and what they invoke besides Him is falsehood, and because Allah is the Most High, the Most Great.",
    "kiswahili": "Hayo ni kwa sababu Allah ndiye Kweli, na wanachomwomba badala yake ni uongo, na Allah ndiye Aliye Juu, Mkuu."

    "arabic": "أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱلْفُلْكَ تَجْرِى فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ بِنِعْمَتِ ٱللَّهِ لِيُرِيَكُم مِّنْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍۢ شَكُورٍۢ",
    "english": "Do you not see that the ships sail through the sea by the favor of Allah that He may show you of His signs? Indeed, in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.",
    "kiswahili": "Je, haujaona kuwa meli zinaelea baharini kwa neema ya Allah ili akuonyeshe ishara Zake? Hakika katika hilo kuna ishara kwa kila mwenye subira na shukrani."
  },

    "ayah": 32,
    "arabic": "وَإِذَا غَشِيَهُم مَّوْجٌۭ كَٱلظُّلَلِ دَعَوُا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّىٰهُمْ إِلَى ٱلْبَرِّ فَمِنْهُم مُّقْتَصِدٌۭ ۚ وَمَا يَجْحَدُ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ إِلَّا كُلُّ خَتَّارٍۢ كَفُورٍۢ",
    "english": "And when waves cover them like shades, they invoke Allah, sincere to Him in religion; then when He brings them safely to land, there are some who are moderate. And none deny Our signs except every treacherous, ungrateful one.",

    "english": "O mankind, fear your Lord and be aware of a Day when no father will avail his son, nor will a son avail his father at all. Indeed, the promise of Allah is true. So let not the worldly life delude you, nor let the Deceiver deceive you about Allah.",

    "english": "Indeed, Allah has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul knows what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul knows in which land it will die. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.",
