    "arabic": "نَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْكَ مِن نَّبَإِ مُوسَىٰ وَفِرْعَوْنَ بِٱلْحَقِّ لِقَوْمٍۢ يُؤْمِنُونَ",
    "english": "We recite to you from the story of Moses and Pharaoh in truth for a people who believe.",
    "kiswahili": "Tunakusomea baadhi ya habari za Musa na Firauni kwa haki kwa watu wanaoamini."

    "arabic": "إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ عَلَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلَ أَهْلَهَا شِيَعًۭا يَسْتَضْعِفُ طَآئِفَةًۭ مِّنْهُمْ يُذَبِّحُ أَبْنَآءَهُمْ وَيَسْتَحْىِۦ نِسَآءَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ",
    "english": "Indeed, Pharaoh exalted himself in the land and made its people into factions, oppressing a group among them, slaughtering their sons and letting their women live. Indeed, he was of the corrupters.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika Firauni alijiona mkubwa katika ardhi na akawafanya watu wake makundi, akiwadhoofisha baadhi yao, akiwachinja wana wao wa kiume na akiwaacha hai wake wa kike. Hakika yeye alikuwa miongoni mwa wenye kufanya ufisadi."

    "arabic": "وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةًۭ وَنَجْعَلَهُمُ ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ",
    "english": "And We wanted to confer favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them leaders and make them inheritors.",
    "kiswahili": "Na tunataka kuwafadhilisha wale waliodhoofishwa katika ardhi na kuwafanya viongozi na kuwafanya warithi."

    "arabic": "وَنُمَكِّنَ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَنُرِىَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَـٰمَـٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَحْذَرُونَ",
    "english": "And establish them in the land and show Pharaoh and Haman and their soldiers through them that which they had feared.",
    "kiswahili": "Na tuwape nguvu katika ardhi na tumuonyeshe Firauni na Haman na majeshi yao kupitia wao yale waliyokuwa wakiyahofia."

    "arabic": "وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنْ أَرْضِعِيهِ ۖ فَإِذَا خِفْتِ عَلَيْهِ فَأَلْقِيهِ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَلَا تَخَافِى وَلَا تَحْزَنِىٓ ۖ إِنَّا رَآدُّوهُ إِلَيْكِ وَجَاعِلُوهُ مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ",
    "english": "And We inspired to the mother of Moses, 'Suckle him; but when you fear for him, cast him into the river and do not fear and do not grieve. Indeed, We will return him to you and will make him of the messengers.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na tukamfunulia mama yake Musa: 'Mnyonyeshe, lakini ukimkhofia basi mtie mtoni. Wala usiogope wala usihuzunike. Hakika sisi tutamrudisha kwako na tutamfanya miongoni mwa Mitume.'"

    "arabic": "فَٱلْتَقَطَهُۥٓ ءَالُ فِرْعَوْنَ لِيَكُونَ لَهُمْ عَدُوًّۭا وَحَزَنًۭا ۗ إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَـٰمَـٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا كَانُوا۟ خَـٰطِـِٔينَ",
    "english": "And the family of Pharaoh picked him up so that he would become to them an enemy and a [cause of] grief. Indeed, Pharaoh and Haman and their soldiers were deliberate sinners.",
    "kiswahili": "Basi watu wa Firauni wakamnyanyua ili awe kwao adui na sababu ya huzuni. Hakika Firauni na Haman na majeshi yao walikuwa wenye makosa."

    "arabic": "وَقَالَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُ فِرْعَوْنَ قُرَّتُ عَيْنٍۢ لِّى وَلَكَ ۖ لَا تَقْتُلُوهُ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَنفَعَنَآ أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُۥ وَلَدًۭا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ",
    "english": "And the wife of Pharaoh said, 'He will be a comfort of the eye for me and for you. Do not kill him; perhaps he may benefit us, or we may adopt him as a son.' And they perceived not.",
    "kiswahili": "Na mke wa Firauni akasema: 'Atakuwa faraja ya macho kwangu na kwako. Msimuue; huenda akatufaa au tumchukue awe mtoto wetu.' Nao hawakutambua."

    "arabic": "وَأَصْبَحَ فُؤَادُ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰ فَـٰرِغًا ۖ إِن كَادَتْ لَتُبْدِى بِهِۦ لَوْلَآ أَن رَّبَطْنَا عَلَىٰ قَلْبِهَا لِتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ",
    "english": "And the heart of the mother of Moses became empty. She was about to disclose him had We not strengthened her heart so that she would be of the believers.",
    "kiswahili": "Na moyo wa mama yake Musa ukawa mtupu. Karibu amfichue lau kama hatungelitia nguvu moyoni mwake ili awe miongoni mwa Waumini."

    "arabic": "وَقَالَتْ لِأُخْتِهِۦ قُصِّيهِ ۖ فَبَصُرَتْ بِهِۦ عَن جُنُبٍۢ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ",
    "english": "And she said to his sister, 'Follow him.' So she watched him from a distance while they perceived not.",
    "kiswahili": "Akamwambia dada yake: 'Mfuatilie.' Basi akamtazama kutoka mbali nao hawakujua."

    "arabic": "وَحَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِ ٱلْمَرَاضِعَ مِن قَبْلُ فَقَالَتْ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰٓ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍۢ يَكْفُلُونَهُۥ لَكُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُۥ نَـٰصِحُونَ",
    "english": "And We had prevented him from accepting any foster mothers before, so she said, 'Shall I direct you to a household that will be responsible for him for you while they are to him sincere advisers?'",
    "kiswahili": "Na tulimharimishia vinyonyeshi kabla yake. Hapo akasema: 'Je, niwaonyeshe nyumba ya watu watakemlea kwenu na watakuwa wenye kumnasibisha?'"

    "arabic": "فَرَدَدْنَـٰهُ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّهِۦ كَىْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَ وَلِتَعْلَمَ أَنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّۭ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ",
    "english": "So We restored him to his mother that she might be comforted and not grieve and that she would know that the promise of Allah is true. But most of them do not know.",
    "kiswahili": "Basi tukamrudisha kwa mama yake ili macho yake yapate kutulia na asihuzunike, na ajue kwamba ahadi ya Mwenyezi Mungu ni ya kweli. Lakini wengi wao hawajui."

    "arabic": "وَلَمَّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُۥ وَٱسْتَوَىٰٓ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُ حُكْمًۭا وَعِلْمًۭا ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ",
    "english": "And when he reached his full strength and was [mentally] mature, We bestowed upon him judgment and knowledge. And thus do We reward the doers of good.",
    "kiswahili": "Na alipoifikia nguvu zake na akakomaa, tulimpa hekima na elimu. Na hivi ndivyo tunavyowalipa wafanyao mema."

    "arabic": "وَدَخَلَ ٱلْمَدِينَةَ عَلَىٰ حِينِ غَفْلَةٍۢ مِّنْ أَهْلِهَا فَوَجَدَ فِيهَا رَجُلَيْنِ يَقْتَتِلَانِ هَـٰذَا مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ وَهَـٰذَا مِنْ عَدُوِّهِۦ ۖ فَٱسْتَغَـٰثَهُ ٱلَّذِى مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ عَلَى ٱلَّذِى مِنْ عَدُوِّهِۦ فَوَكَزَهُۥ مُوسَىٰ فَقَضَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ۖ قَالَ هَـٰذَا مِنْ عَمَلِ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ عَدُوٌّۭ مُّضِلٌّۭ مُّبِينٌۭ",
    "english": "And he entered the city at a time of inattention by its people and found therein two men fighting: one from his faction and one from among his enemies. And the one from his faction called for help against the one from his enemy, so Moses struck him and killed him. [Moses] said, 'This is from the work of Satan. Indeed, he is a manifest, misleading enemy.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na akaingia mjini wakati watu wake walikuwa wameshaghulika, akakuta humo watu wawili wanapigana, mmoja katika wafuasi wake na mwingine katika maadui zake. Huyo wa wafuasi wake akamwomba msaada dhidi ya yule wa adui zake. Musa akampiga yule, akamuua. Musa akasema: 'Hii ni kutokana na kazi ya Shetani. Hakika yeye ni adui anayepeleka upotofu ulio wazi.'"

    "arabic": "قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِى فَٱغْفِرْ لِى فَغَفَرَ لَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ",
    "english": "He said, 'My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, so forgive me,' and He forgave him. Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.",
    "kiswahili": "Akasema: 'Mola wangu Mlezi, kwa hakika nimejidhulumu nafsi yangu, basi nisamehe.' Akamsamehe. Hakika Yeye ni Msamehevu, Mwenye kurehemu."

    "arabic": "قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ فَلَنْ أَكُونَ ظَهِيرًۭا لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ",
    "english": "He said, 'My Lord, for the favor You bestowed upon me, I will never be an assistant to the criminals.'",
    "kiswahili": "Akasema: 'Mola wangu Mlezi, kwa kuwa umenineemesha, kamwe sitakuwa msaidizi wa wakosefu.'"

    "arabic": "فَأَصْبَحَ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ خَائِفًا يَتَرَقَّبُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي اسْتَنْصَرَهُ بِالْأَمْسِ يَسْتَصْرِخُهُ قَالَ لَهُ مُوسَى إِنَّكَ لَغَوِيٌّ مُّبِينٌ",
    "english": "So he became fearful in the city, looking around anxiously, when suddenly the one who had sought his help the day before cried out to him again. Moses said to him, 'Indeed, you are clearly a troublemaker.'",
    "kiswahili": "Basi akawa asubuhi mjini akiwa na hofu, akingoja matokeo. Mara yule aliyemwomba msaada jana akampigia kelele tena. Musa akamwambia: Hakika wewe ni mpotovu wa wazi."

    "arabic": "فَلَمَّا أَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَبْطِشَ بِالَّذِي هُوَ عَدُوٌّ لَّهُمَا قَالَ يَا مُوسَى أَتُرِيدُ أَنْ تَقْتُلَنِي كَمَا قَتَلْتَ نَفْسًا بِالْأَمْسِ إِن تُرِيدُ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونَ جَبَّارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُصْلِحِينَ",
    "english": "But when he was about to strike the one who was their enemy, he said, 'O Moses, do you intend to kill me as you killed a soul yesterday? You only want to be a tyrant in the land, and you do not want to be among the reformers.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na alipotaka kumkamata yule adui wao, akasema: Ewe Musa! Je, unataka kuniua kama ulivyoua nafsi jana? Wewe hutaki ila kuwa jabari katika nchi, wala hutaki kuwa miongoni mwa watengenezaji."

    "arabic": "وَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِّنْ أَقْصَا الْمَدِينَةِ يَسْعَى قَالَ يَا مُوسَى إِنَّ الْمَلَأَ يَأْتَمِرُونَ بِكَ لِيَقْتُلُوكَ فَاخْرُجْ إِنِّي لَكَ مِنَ النَّاصِحِينَ",
    "english": "And a man came from the farthest end of the city, rushing. He said, 'O Moses, indeed the chiefs are plotting to kill you, so leave; indeed, I am to you a sincere advisor.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na akaja mtu kutoka pande za mbali za mjini akiharakisha. Akasema: Ewe Musa! Hakika wakubwa wanashauriana kukuuwa, basi ondoka. Hakika mimi ni wa kukuonya."

    "arabic": "فَخَرَجَ مِنْهَا خَائِفًا يَتَرَقَّبُ قَالَ رَبِّ نَجِّنِي مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ",
    "english": "So he left the city, fearful and anticipating [danger]. He said, 'My Lord, save me from the wrongdoing people.'",
    "kiswahili": "Basi akatoka humo akiwa na hofu, akingoja matokeo. Akasema: Mola wangu Mlezi! Niokoe kutokana na watu madhalimu."

    "arabic": "وَلَمَّا تَوَجَّهَ تِلْقَاءَ مَدْيَنَ قَالَ عَسَى رَبِّي أَنْ يَهْدِيَنِي سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ",
    "english": "And when he directed himself toward Madyan, he said, 'Perhaps my Lord will guide me to the sound way.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na alipoelekea upande wa Madyan akasema: Huenda Mola wangu Mlezi ataniongoza njia iliyo sawa."

    "arabic": "وَلَمَّا وَرَدَ مَاءَ مَدْيَنَ وَجَدَ عَلَيْهِ أُمَّةً مِّنَ النَّاسِ يَسْقُونَ وَوَجَدَ مِن دُونِهِمُ امْرَأَتَيْنِ تَذُودَانِ قَالَ مَا خَطْبُكُمَا قَالَتَا لَا نَسْقِي حَتَّى يُصْدِرَ الرِّعَاءُ وَأَبُونَا شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ",
    "english": "And when he arrived at the water of Madyan, he found there a crowd of people watering [their flocks], and he found apart from them two women holding back [their flocks]. He said, 'What is your circumstance?' They said, 'We do not water until the shepherds dispatch [their flocks]; and our father is an old man.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na alipo fika kisimani Madyan alikuta hapo umati wa watu wananyweshea. Na alikuta kando yao wanawake wawili wakizuia (wanyama wao). Akasema: Ni nini shauri lenu? Wakasema: Hatushugi mpaka wachungaji waondoke, na baba yetu ni mzee mkubwa."

    "arabic": "فَسَقَى لَهُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَلَّى إِلَى الظِّلِّ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ",
    "english": "So he watered [their flocks] for them; then he went back to the shade and said, 'My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need.'",
    "kiswahili": "Basi akawanyweshea, kisha akarudi kivulini, na akasema: Mola wangu Mlezi! Hakika mimi ni mhitaji kwa kheri yoyote utakayoniteremshia."

    "arabic": "فَجَاءَتْهُ إِحْدَاهُمَا تَمْشِي عَلَى اسْتِحْيَاءٍ قَالَتْ إِنَّ أَبِي يَدْعُوكَ لِيَجْزِيَكَ أَجْرَ مَا سَقَيْتَ لَنَا فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُ وَقَصَّ عَلَيْهِ الْقَصَصَ قَالَ لَا تَخَفْ نَجَوْتَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ",
    "english": "Then one of the two women came to him walking with shyness. She said, 'Indeed, my father invites you that he may reward you for having watered for us.' So when he came to him and related to him the story, he said, 'Fear not. You have escaped from the wrongdoing people.'",
    "kiswahili": "Kisha mmoja wa wanawake wawili akamjia akitembea kwa haya, akasema: Hakika baba yangu anakuita ili akulipe ujira wa kutunyeshea maji. Basi alipo mjia na akamsimulia kisa, akasema: Usiogope! Umeokoka kutokana na watu madhalimu."

    "arabic": "قَالَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا يَا أَبَتِ اسْتَأْجِرْهُ إِنَّ خَيْرَ مَنِ اسْتَأْجَرْتَ الْقَوِيُّ الْأَمِينُ",
    "english": "One of the women said, 'O my father, hire him. Indeed, the best one you can hire is the strong and the trustworthy.'",
    "kiswahili": "Mmoja wao akasema: Ewe baba yangu! Mwajiri huyu. Hakika bora wa kumwajiri ni mwenye nguvu na mwaminifu."

    "arabic": "قَالَ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُنكِحَكَ إِحْدَى ابْنَتَيَّ هَاتَيْنِ عَلَى أَنْ تَأْجُرَنِي ثَمَانِيَ حِجَجٍ فَإِنْ أَتْمَمْتَ عَشْرًا فَمِنْ عِنْدِكَ وَمَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَيْكَ سَتَجِدُنِي إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ",
    "english": "He said, 'Indeed, I wish to marry you to one of these, my two daughters, on the condition that you serve me for eight years; but if you complete ten, it will be from your own will. And I do not wish to make it difficult for you. You will find me, if Allah wills, among the righteous.'",
    "kiswahili": "Akasema: Hakika mimi nataka kukuoza mmoja kati ya binti zangu hawa wawili kwa sharti la unihudumie miaka minane. Na ukikamilisha kumi, ni kwa hiari yako. Wala sitaki kukutaabisha. Utaniona, inshaAllah, miongoni mwa watu wema."

    "arabic": "قَالَ ذَلِكَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكَ أَيَّمَا الْأَجَلَيْنِ قَضَيْتُ فَلَا عُدْوَانَ عَلَيَّ وَاللَّهُ عَلَى مَا نَقُولُ وَكِيلٌ",
    "english": "Moses said, 'That is established between me and you. Whichever of the two terms I complete, there is no injustice against me. And Allah, over what we say, is Witness.'",
    "kiswahili": "Musa akasema: Hayo ni baina yangu na wewe. Nitakapokamilisha mojawapo ya muda miwili, basi hapatakuwa na dhulma juu yangu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Shahidi juu ya tunayo sema."

    "arabic": "فَلَمَّا قَضَى مُوسَى الْأَجَلَ وَسَارَ بِأَهْلِهِ آنَسَ مِنْ جَانِبِ الطُّورِ نَارًا قَالَ لِأَهْلِهِ امْكُثُوا إِنِّي آنَسْتُ نَارًا لَعَلِّي آتِيكُمْ مِنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ جَذْوَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ",
    "english": "And when Moses had completed the term and was traveling with his family, he perceived a fire on the side of Mount Sinai. He said to his family, 'Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire. Perhaps I will bring you from it some news or a burning torch that you may warm yourselves.'",
    "kiswahili": "Musa alipo timiza muda, na akaondoka pamoja na watu wake, aliona moto upande wa mlima. Akawaambia watu wake: Ngojeni, mimi nimeuona moto. Huenda nikakuleteeni habari kutoka humo, au cheche ya moto ili mpate kuota joto."

    "arabic": "فَلَمَّا أَتَاهَا نُودِيَ مِنْ شَاطِئِ الْوَادِ الْأَيْمَنِ فِي الْبُقْعَةِ الْمُبَارَكَةِ مِنَ الشَّجَرَةِ أَنْ يَا مُوسَى إِنِّي أَنَا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ",
    "english": "But when he came to it, he was called from the right side of the valley, in the blessed ground, from the tree, 'O Moses, indeed I am Allah, Lord of the worlds.'",
    "kiswahili": "Alipo ufikia aliitwa kutoka upande wa kulia wa bonde, katika sehemu iliyobarikiwa, kutoka kwenye mti: Ewe Musa! Hakika Mimi ni Mwenyezi Mungu, Mola Mlezi wa walimwengu."

    "arabic": "وَأَنْ أَلْقِ عَصَاكَ فَلَمَّا رَآهَا تَهْتَزُّ كَأَنَّهَا جَانٌّ وَلَّى مُدْبِرًا وَلَمْ يُعَقِّبْ ۚ يَا مُوسَى أَقْبِلْ وَلَا تَخَفْ ۖ إِنَّكَ مِنَ الْآمِنِينَ",
    "english": "And [He said], 'Throw down your staff.' But when he saw it quivering as if it were a snake, he turned in flight and did not return. [Allah said], 'O Moses, approach and fear not. Indeed, you are of the secure.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na [akasema], 'Tupa fimbo yako.' Lakini alipoiona ikitetemeka kama nyoka, aligeuka akakimbia bila kurudi. [Mwenyezi Mungu akasema], 'Ewe Musa! Karibia wala usiogope. Hakika wewe ni miongoni mwa walio salama.'"

    "arabic": "اسْلُكْ يَدَكَ فِي جَيْبِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَاءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوءٍ وَاضْمُمْ إِلَيْكَ جَنَاحَكَ مِنَ الرَّهْبِ ۖ فَذَانِكَ بُرْهَانَانِ مِنْ رَبِّكَ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ",
    "english": "Insert your hand into the opening of your garment; it will come out white without disease. And draw in your arm close to you [as protection] from fear. These are two proofs from your Lord to Pharaoh and his chiefs. Indeed, they have been a defiantly disobedient people.",
    "kiswahili": "Ingiza mkono wako katika mfuko wa nguo yako, utatoka mweupe bila ugonjwa. Na ushikilie kifuani mwako kwa hofu. Hizi ni hoja mbili kutoka kwa Mola wako kwa Firauni na wakuu wake. Hakika wao ni watu waovu."

    "arabic": "قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي قَتَلْتُ مِنْهُمْ نَفْسًا فَأَخَافُ أَنْ يَقْتُلُونِ",
    "english": "He said, 'My Lord, I killed from among them someone, and I fear they will kill me.'",
    "kiswahili": "Akasema: 'Mola wangu Mlezi! Mimi niliua mtu miongoni mwao, nami naogopa watanichinja.'"

    "arabic": "وَأَخِي هَارُونُ هُوَ أَفْصَحُ مِنِّي لِسَانًا فَأَرْسِلْهُ مَعِيَ رِدْءًا يُصَدِّقُنِي ۖ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يُكَذِّبُونِ",
    "english": "And my brother Aaron is more fluent than me in tongue, so send him with me as support, verifying me. Indeed, I fear that they will deny me.",
    "kiswahili": "Na ndugu yangu Harun ni msemaji zaidi kuliko mimi, basi mtume aende pamoja nami awe msaada wangu akinihakikisha. Hakika mimi naogopa watanikanusha."

    "arabic": "قَالَ سَنَشُدُّ عَضُدَكَ بِأَخِيكَ وَنَجْعَلُ لَكُمَا سُلْطَانًا فَلَا يَصِلُونَ إِلَيْكُمَا ۚ بِآيَاتِنَا أَنْتُمَا وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَكُمَا الْغَالِبُونَ",
    "english": "[Allah] said, 'We will strengthen your arm through your brother and grant you both authority, and they will not reach you. With Our signs, you two and those who follow you will be the predominant.'",
    "kiswahili": "[Mwenyezi Mungu] akasema: 'Tutakutia nguvu kwa ndugu yako na tutakupeni mamlaka, basi hawatawafikia nyinyi. Kwa Ishara zetu, nyinyi wawili na watakao kufuateni mtakuwa washindi.'"

    "arabic": "فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ مُوسَى بِآيَاتِنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالُوا مَا هَذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُفْتَرًى وَمَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَذَا فِي آبَائِنَا الْأَوَّلِينَ",
    "english": "But when Moses came to them with Our clear signs, they said, 'This is nothing but invented magic, and we have not heard of this among our forefathers.'",
    "kiswahili": "Musa alipowajia na Ishara zetu zilizo wazi, walisema: 'Hii si chochote ila ni uchawi uliozuliwa, wala hatukusikia haya kwa baba zetu wa mwanzo.'"

    "arabic": "وَقَالَ مُوسَى رَبِّي أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ جَاءَ بِالْهُدَى مِنْ عِنْدِهِ وَمَنْ تَكُونُ لَهُ عَاقِبَةُ الدَّارِ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ",
    "english": "And Moses said, 'My Lord is more knowing than anyone of who has come with guidance from Him and to whom will be the good outcome of the home. Indeed, the wrongdoers will not succeed.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na Musa akasema: 'Mola wangu ndiye anayejua zaidi ni nani amekuja na uwongofu kutoka kwake, na ni nani atakuwa na mwisho mwema wa Nyumba. Hakika madhalimu hawatofanikiwa.'"

    "arabic": "وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلَأُ مَا عَلِمْتُ لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـٰهٍ غَيْرِى فَأَوْقِدْ لِى يَـٰهَـٰمَـٰنُ عَلَى ٱلطِّينِ فَٱجْعَل لِّى صَرْحًۭا لَّعَلِّىٓ أَطَّلِعُ إِلَىٰٓ إِلَـٰهِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِنِّى لَأَظُنُّهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَ",
    "english": "And Pharaoh said, 'O eminent ones, I have not known you to have a god other than me. Then ignite for me, O Haman, [a fire] upon the clay and make for me a tower that I may look at the God of Moses. And indeed, I think he is of the liars.'",
    "kiswahili": "Firauni akasema: 'Enyi waheshimiwa, sijawajua mna mungu yeyote asiyekuwa mimi. Basi Haman, niwashie moto juu ya udongo na unijengee mnara ili nipate kumwangalia Mungu wa Musa. Na hakika mimi nadhani yeye ni miongoni mwa waongo.'"

    "arabic": "وَٱسْتَكْبَرَ هُوَ وَجُنُودُهُۥ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ وَظَنُّوٓا۟ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا يُرْجَعُونَ",
    "english": "And he and his soldiers were arrogant in the land, without right, and they thought that they would not be returned to Us.",
    "kiswahili": "Na yeye na askari wake wakajivuna katika nchi bila ya haki, na wakadhani kwamba hawatarudishwa kwetu."

    "arabic": "فَأَخَذْنَـٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْنَـٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ ۖ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ",
    "english": "So We seized him and his soldiers and threw them into the sea. So see how was the end of the wrongdoers.",
    "kiswahili": "Basi tukamkamata yeye na askari wake, tukawatupa baharini. Angalia basi jinsi ulivyokuwa mwisho wa wenye kudhulumu."

    "arabic": "وَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْ أَئِمَّةًۭ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِ ۖ وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ لَا يُنصَرُونَ",
    "english": "And We made them leaders inviting to the Fire, and on the Day of Resurrection they will not be helped.",
    "kiswahili": "Na tukawafanya kuwa viongozi wanaowaongoza watu kwenye Moto, na Siku ya Kiyama hawatasaidiwa."

    "arabic": "وَأَتْبَعْنَـٰهُمْ فِى هَـٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنْيَا لَعْنَةًۭ ۖ وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ هُم مِّنَ ٱلْمَقْبُوحِينَ",
    "english": "And We caused a curse to follow them in this world, and on the Day of Resurrection they will be of the despised.",
    "kiswahili": "Na tukawafuatisha laana katika dunia hii, na Siku ya Kiyama watakuwa miongoni mwa waliojengewa sura mbaya."

    "arabic": "وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَآ أَهْلَكْنَا ٱلْقُرُونَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ بَصَآئِرَ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةًۭ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ",
    "english": "And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture after We had destroyed the former generations as enlightenment for the people and guidance and mercy that they might be reminded.",
    "kiswahili": "Na hakika tulimpa Musa Kitabu baada ya kuwaangamiza vizazi vya mwanzo, kuwa nuru kwa watu, na uwongofu na rehema ili wapate kukumbuka."

    "arabic": "وَمَا كُنتَ بِجَانِبِ ٱلْغَرْبِىِّ إِذْ قَضَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَى ٱلْأَمْرَ وَمَا كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ",
    "english": "And you were not on the western side when We decreed to Moses the command, and you were not among the witnesses.",
    "kiswahili": "Wala hukuwapo upande wa magharibi tulipoihukumia Musa amri, wala hukuwamo miongoni mwa mashahidi."

    "arabic": "وَلَـٰكِنَّآ أَنشَأْنَا قُرُونًۭا فَتَطَاوَلَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْعُمُرُ ۚ وَمَا كُنتَ ثَاوِيًۭا فِىٓ أَهْلِ مَدْيَنَ تَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَـٰتِنَا وَلَـٰكِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِينَ",
    "english": "But We produced generations [after Moses], and prolonged was their duration. And you were not a resident among the people of Madyan, reciting to them Our verses, but We were senders [of the message].",
    "kiswahili": "Lakini tuliwazua vizazi, na umri wao ukawa mrefu. Wala hukukaa kwa watu wa Madyan ukiwasomea Aya zetu, lakini Sisi ndio waliokuwa wakituma Mitume."

    "arabic": "وَمَا كُنتَ بِجَانِبِ ٱلطُّورِ إِذْ نَادَيْنَا وَلَـٰكِن رَّحْمَةًۭ مِّن رَّبِّكَ لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًۭا مَّآ أَتَىٰهُم مِّن نَّذِيرٍۢ مِّن قَبْلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ",
    "english": "And you were not at the side of the Mount when We called [Moses], but [you were sent] as a mercy from your Lord to warn a people to whom no warner had come before you that they might be reminded.",
    "kiswahili": "Wala hukuwapo upande wa Tur tulipomwita Musa, lakini (ulitumwa) kama rehema kutoka kwa Mola wako ili uwaonye watu ambao hawakufikiwa na muonyaji kabla yako, ili wapate kukumbuka."

    "arabic": "وَلَوْلَآ أَن تُصِيبَهُم مُّصِيبَةٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُوا۟ رَبَّنَا لَوْلَآ أَرْسَلْتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولًۭا فَنَتَّبِعَ ءَايَـٰتِكَ وَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ",
    "english": "And if not that a disaster should strike them for what their hands put forth and they would say, 'Our Lord, why did You not send us a messenger so we could have followed Your verses and been among the believers?'",
    "kiswahili": "Na lau kuwa isingewapata msiba kwa yale waliyoyatanguliza mikono yao, wangesema: 'Mola wetu Mlezi, kwa nini hukututumia Mtume ili tuzifuate Aya zako na tuwe miongoni mwa waumini?'"

    "arabic": "فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِنْ عِندِنَا قَالُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُوتِىَ مِثْلَ مَآ أُوتِىَ مُوسَىٰٓ ۚ أَوَلَمْ يَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ أُوتِىَ مُوسَىٰ مِن قَبْلُ ۖ قَالُوا۟ سِحْرَانِ تَظَـٰهَرَا وَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا بِكُلٍّۢ كَـٰفِرُونَ",
    "english": "But when the truth came to them from Us, they said, 'Why was he not given like that which was given to Moses?' Did they not disbelieve in that which was given to Moses before? They said, 'Two works of magic supporting each other,' and they said, 'Indeed we, in both, are disbelievers.'",
    "kiswahili": "Lakini ulipowajia ukweli kutoka kwetu, walisema: 'Mbona hakupatiwa kama alivyopatiwa Musa?' Je, hawakukufuru na alichopewa Musa kabla? Wakasema: 'Ni uchawi viwili vinavyosaidiana,' na wakasema: 'Hakika sisi tunakataa vyote viwili.'"

    "arabic": "قُلْ فَأْتُوا۟ بِكِتَـٰبٍۢ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ أَهْدَىٰ مِنْهُمَآ أَتَّبِعْهُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ",
    "english": "Say, 'Then bring a Book from Allah which is more guiding than either of them that I may follow it, if you should be truthful.'",
    "kiswahili": "Sema: 'Basi leteni Kitabu kutoka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu kilichoongoka zaidi kuliko hivyo viwili ili nikifuate, ikiwa nyinyi ni wakweli.'"

    "arabic": "فَإِن لَّمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لَكَ فَٱعْلَمْ أَنَّمَا يَتَّبِعُونَ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ ۚ وَمَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنِ ٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ بِغَيْرِ هُدًۭى مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ",
    "english": "But if they do not respond to you, then know that they only follow their desires. And who is more astray than one who follows his desire without guidance from Allah? Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.",
    "kiswahili": "Lakini wasipokuitikia, basi ujue kuwa wanafuata matamanio yao tu. Na ni nani aliyepotea zaidi kuliko yule anayeufuata matamanio yake bila ya uwongofu kutoka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu? Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu hawaongoi watu madhalimu."

    "arabic": "وَلَقَدْ وَصَّلْنَا لَهُمُ ٱلْقَوْلَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ",
    "english": "And We have certainly delivered to them the Word that they might be reminded.",
    "kiswahili": "Na hakika tumewafikishia Neno ili wapate kukumbuka."

    "arabic": "ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ مِن قَبْلِهِۦ هُم بِهِۦ يُؤْمِنُونَ",
    "english": "Those to whom We gave the Scripture before it – they believe in it.",
    "kiswahili": "Wale tuliowapa Kitabu kabla yake – wao wanaamini humo."

    "arabic": "وَإِذَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦٓ إِنَّهُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبْلِهِۦ مُسْلِمِينَ",
    "english": "And when it is recited to them, they say, “We believe in it. Indeed, it is the truth from our Lord. Indeed, we were, even before it, Muslims.”",
    "kiswahili": "Na wanaposomewa, husema: “Tumeuamini. Hakika huu ni kweli kutoka kwa Mola wetu. Hakika tulikuwa Waislamu hata kabla yake.”"

    "arabic": "أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ يُؤْتَوْنَ أَجْرَهُم مَّرَّتَيْنِ بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ وَيَدْرَءُونَ بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ ٱلسَّيِّئَةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ",
    "english": "It is they who will be given their reward twice for what they patiently endured. And they repel evil with good and spend from what We have provided them.",
    "kiswahili": "Hao watapewa thawabu zao mara mbili kwa sababu ya uvumilivu wao. Na wao huzuia uovu kwa wema, na kutokana na tulivyowaruzuku hutoa."

    "arabic": "وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا۟ ٱللَّغْوَ أَعْرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا۟ لَنَآ أَعْمَـٰلُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَـٰلُكُمْ سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ لَا نَبْتَغِى ٱلْجَـٰهِلِينَ",
    "english": "And when they hear ill speech, they turn away from it and say, “For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. Peace be upon you; we seek not the ignorant.”",
    "kiswahili": "Na wanaposikia upuzi hujiepusha nao na husema: “Kwetu ni matendo yetu, na kwenu ni matendo yenu. Amani juu yenu; sisi hatutafuti wajinga.”"

    "arabic": "إِنَّكَ لَا تَهْدِى مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ",
    "english": "Indeed, you do not guide whom you love, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He is most knowing of the rightly guided.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika wewe humwongoi umpendaye, lakini Mwenyezi Mungu humwongoa amtakaye. Naye ndiye Mjuzi zaidi wa wenye kuongoka."

    "arabic": "وَقَالُوٓا۟ إِن نَّتَّبِعِ ٱلْهُدَىٰ مَعَكَ نُتَخَطَّفْ مِنْ أَرْضِنَآ ۚ أَوَلَمْ نُمَكِّن لَّهُمْ حَرَمًا ءَامِنًۭا يُجْبَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِ ثَمَرَٰتُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ رِّزْقًۭا مِّن لَّدُنَّا وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ",
    "english": "And they say, 'If we were to follow the guidance with you, we would be swept from our land.' Have We not established for them a secure sanctuary to which are brought the fruits of all things as provision from Us? But most of them do not know.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wanasema: 'Tukifuata uwongofu pamoja nawe, tutanyakuliwa kutoka ardhi yetu.' Je, hatukuwajaalia Harem takatifu lililo salama, na ndani yake yakiletwa matunda ya kila kitu kama riziki kutoka kwetu? Lakini wengi wao hawajui."

    "ayah": 58,
    "arabic": "وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍۭ بَطِرَتْ مَعِيشَتَهَا ۖ فَتِلْكَ مَسَـٰكِنُهُمْ لَمْ تُسْكَن مِّنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا ۖ وَكُنَّا نَحْنُ ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ",
    "english": "And how many a city have We destroyed that was insolent in its way of life, and those are their dwellings which have not been inhabited after them except a little. And We were the inheritors.",
    "kiswahili": "Na ngapi tuliziharibu miji iliyokuwa ikijivuna kwa maisha yake! Hizo ndizo maskani yao, hazikukaliwa baada yao ila wachache tu. Nasi tulikuwa ndio warithi."

    "ayah": 59,
    "arabic": "وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ مُهْلِكَ ٱلْقُرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ يَبْعَثَ فِىٓ أُمِّهَا رَسُولًۭا يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَـٰتِنَا ۚ وَمَا كُنَّا مُهْلِكِى ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ إِلَّا وَأَهْلُهَا ظَـٰلِمُونَ",
    "english": "And never would your Lord have destroyed the cities until He had sent to their mother city a messenger reciting to them Our verses. And We would not destroy the cities except while their people were wrongdoers.",
    "kiswahili": "Na Mola wako hakuwa wa kuziangamiza miji mpaka ampeleke Mtume katika mji mkuu wao awasomee Aya zetu. Wala hatukuwa wa kuziangamiza miji ila hali watu wake ni madhaalimu."

    "ayah": 60,
    "arabic": "وَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَىْءٍۢ فَمَتَـٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتُهَا ۚ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ",
    "english": "And whatever thing you [people] have been given – it is [but] for enjoyment of the worldly life and its adornment. And what is with Allah is better and more lasting; so will you not use reason?",
    "kiswahili": "Na chochote mlichopewa ni starehe ya maisha ya dunia na pambo lake. Na kilicho kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ni bora zaidi na cha kudumu. Je, hamtumii akili?"

    "arabic": "أَفَمَن وَعَدْنَـٰهُ وَعْدًا حَسَنًۭا فَهُوَ لَـٰقِيهِ كَمَن مَّتَّعْنَـٰهُ مَتَـٰعَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ هُوَ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ مِنَ ٱلْمُحْضَرِينَ",
    "english": "Then is he whom We have promised a good promise – which he will meet – like one whom We provided enjoyment of the worldly life but then he, on the Day of Resurrection, will be among those presented [for punishment]?",

    "arabic": "قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقَوْلُ رَبَّنَا هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَغْوَيْنَآ أَغْوَيْنَـٰهُمْ كَمَا غَوَيْنَا ۖ تَبَرَّأْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ۖ مَا كَانُوٓا۟ إِيَّانَا يَعْبُدُونَ",
    "english": "Those upon whom the word will have come into effect will say, 'Our Lord, these are the ones we misled. We misled them just as we were misled. We declare our disassociation [from them] to You. They did not used to worship us.'",
    "kiswahili": "Watasema wale ambao neno limewathibitikia: Mola wetu! Hawa ndio tuliowapoteza. Tuliwapoteza kama tulivyo potea sisi wenyewe. Tumekataa mbele Yako, hawakuwa wakituabudu sisi."

    "arabic": "وَقِيلَ ٱدْعُوا۟ شُرَكَآءَكُمْ فَدَعَوْهُمْ فَلَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لَهُمْ وَرَأَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ ۚ لَوْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ يَهْتَدُونَ",
    "english": "And it will be said, 'Invoke your partners,' and they will invoke them; but they will not respond to them, and they will see the punishment. If only they had followed guidance!",
    "kiswahili": "Na itasemwa: Waombeni washirika wenu. Basi watawaomba, lakini hawatawajibu. Na wataiona adhabu. Laiti wangeli kuwa wameongoka!"

    "english": "And [mention] the Day He will call them and say, 'What response did you give to the messengers?'",
    "kiswahili": "Na siku atakapowaita na kusema: Mliwajibu vipi Mitume?"

    "arabic": "فَعَمِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْأَنۢبَآءُ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ فَهُمْ لَا يَتَسَآءَلُونَ",
    "english": "But the information will be obscure to them that Day, so they will not [be able to] ask one another.",
    "kiswahili": "Basi habari zitawafichikana Siku hiyo, wala hawataulizana wao kwa wao."

    "arabic": "فَأَمَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَـٰلِحًۭا فَعَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُفْلِحِينَ",
    "english": "But as for one who had repented, believed, and done righteousness – it is expected [i.e., promised by Allah] that he will be among the successful.",
    "kiswahili": "Lakini atakaye tubu na akaamini na akafanya mema, huenda akawa miongoni mwa waliofanikiwa."

    "arabic": "وَرَبُّكَ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ وَيَخْتَارُ ۗ مَا كَانَ لَهُمُ ٱلْخِيَرَةُ ۚ سُبْحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ",
    "english": "And your Lord creates what He wills and chooses; not for them was the choice. Exalted is Allah and high above what they associate with Him.",
    "kiswahili": "Na Mola wako huumba atakavyo na huchagua. Sio kwao kuchagua. Subhanallah! Ametakasika Mwenyezi Mungu na kutukuka juu ya wanavyomshirikisha."

    "arabic": "وَرَبُّكَ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمْ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ",
    "english": "And your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare.",
    "kiswahili": "Na Mola wako anajua yanayofichwa na nyoyo zao na wanayoyadhihirisha."

    "arabic": "وَهُوَ ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ لَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ فِى ٱلْأُولَىٰ وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۖ وَلَهُ ٱلْحُكْمُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ",
    "english": "And He is Allah; there is no deity except Him. To Him is [due all] praise in the first [life] and the Hereafter. And His is the [final] decision, and to Him you will be returned.",
    "kiswahili": "Na Yeye ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu, hapana mungu ila Yeye. Sifa njema zote ni Zake Yeye katika mwanzo na katika mwisho. Na hukumu ni Yake, na Kwake mtarejeshwa."

    "arabic": "قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ سَرْمَدًا إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ مَنْ إِلَـٰهٌ غَيْرُ ٱللَّهِ يَأْتِيكُم بِضِيَآءٍ ۖ أَفَلَا تَسْمَعُونَ",
    "english": "Say, 'Have you considered: if Allah should make for you the night continuous until the Day of Resurrection, what deity other than Allah could bring you light? Then will you not hear?'",
    "kiswahili": "Sema: Mwaonaje ikiwa Mwenyezi Mungu akiwafanyia usiku daima mpaka Siku ya Kiyama, ni mungu gani asiyekuwa Mwenyezi Mungu atakaye kuleteni mwangaza? Je, hamusikii?"

    "arabic": "قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلنَّهَارَ سَرْمَدًا إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ مَنْ إِلَـٰهٌ غَيْرُ ٱللَّهِ يَأْتِيكُم بِلَيْلٍۢ تَسْكُنُونَ فِيهِ ۖ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ",
    "english": "Say, 'Have you considered: if Allah should make for you the day continuous until the Day of Resurrection, what deity other than Allah could bring you a night in which you may rest? Then will you not see?'",
    "kiswahili": "Sema: Mwaonaje ikiwa Mwenyezi Mungu akiwafanyia mchana daima mpaka Siku ya Kiyama, ni mungu gani asiyekuwa Mwenyezi Mungu atakaye kuleteni usiku mkaustarehe humo? Je, hamuoni?"

    "arabic": "وَمِن رَّحْمَتِهِۦ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ لِتَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ",
    "english": "And out of His mercy He made for you the night and the day that you may rest therein and [by day] seek from His bounty and that perhaps you will be grateful.",
    "kiswahili": "Na kwa rehema Zake amekufanyieni usiku na mchana, mpate kupumzika humo na mtafute katika fadhila Zake, ili mpate kushukuru."

    "arabic": "وَنَزَعْنَا مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍۢ شَهِيدًۭا فَقُلْنَا هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَـٰنَكُمْ فَعَلِمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱلْحَقَّ لِلَّهِ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ",
    "english": "And We will draw forth from every nation a witness and say, 'Produce your proof.' Then they will know that the truth belongs to Allah, and lost from them will be that which they used to invent.",
    "kiswahili": "Na tutatoa kutoka kila taifa shahidi, na tutaambia: Leteni hoja yenu. Hapo watatambua kuwa kweli ni ya Mwenyezi Mungu, na yatawapotea yale waliyo kuwa wakiyazua."

    "arabic": "إِنَّ قَـٰرُونَ كَانَ مِن قَوْمِ مُوسَىٰ فَبَغَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُ مِنَ ٱلْكُنُوزِ مَآ إِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهُۥ لَتَنُوٓأُ بِٱلْعُصْبَةِ أُو۟لِى ٱلْقُوَّةِ ۖ إِذْ قَالَ لَهُۥ قَوْمُهُۥ لَا تَفْرَحْ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْفَرِحِينَ",
    "english": "Indeed, Qarun was from the people of Moses, but he tyrannized them. And We gave him of treasures whose keys would burden a band of strong men. When his people said to him, 'Do not exult. Indeed, Allah does not like the exultant.'",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika Qaruni alitokana na watu wa Musa, lakini akawafanyia dhulma. Na tulimpa khazina ambazo funguo zake zingewalemesha kundi la watu wenye nguvu. Watu wake walipo mwambia: Usifurahie! Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu hawapendi wanao furahi kupita kiasi."

    "arabic": "وَٱبْتَغِ فِيمَآ ءَاتَىٰكَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلدَّارَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ ۖ وَلَا تَنسَ نَصِيبَكَ مِنَ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَأَحْسِن كَمَآ أَحْسَنَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَيْكَ ۖ وَلَا تَبْغِ ٱلْفَسَادَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ",
    "english": "But seek, through that which Allah has given you, the home of the Hereafter; and do not forget your share of the world. And do good as Allah has done good to you. And desire not corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like corrupters.",
    "kiswahili": "Lakini tafuta kwa yale aliyokupa Mwenyezi Mungu makazi ya Akhera, wala usisahau fungu lako la dunia. Na fanya wema kama Mwenyezi Mungu alivyo kufanyia wema. Wala usitafute ufisadi katika ardhi. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu hawapendi mafisadi."

    "arabic": "قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أُوتِيتُهُۥ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عِندِىٓ ۚ أَوَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَدْ أَهْلَكَ مِن قَبْلِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ مَنْ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُ قُوَّةًۭ وَأَكْثَرُ جَمْعًۭا ۚ وَلَا يُسْـَٔلُ عَن ذُنُوبِهِمُ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ",
    "english": "He said, 'I was only given it because of knowledge I have.' Did he not know that Allah had destroyed before him of generations those who were greater than him in power and more abundant in accumulation? But the criminals will not be asked about their sins.",
    "kiswahili": "Akasema: Hii nimepewa kwa sababu ya elimu niliyo nayo. Je, hakujua ya kwamba Mwenyezi Mungu amekwisha waangamiza kabla yake vizazi vilivyo kuwa na nguvu zaidi kuliko yeye na mali nyingi zaidi? Wala wakosefu hawataulizwa juu ya dhambi zao."

    "arabic": "فَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ فِى زِينَتِهِۦ ۖ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا يَـٰلَيْتَ لَنَا مِثْلَ مَآ أُوتِىَ قَـٰرُونُ إِنَّهُۥ لَذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍۢ",
    "english": "So he came out before his people in his adornment. Those who desired the worldly life said, 'Oh, would that we had like what was given to Qarun. Indeed, he is one of great fortune.'",
    "kiswahili": "Basi akatokea kwa watu wake katika pambo lake. Wale walio taka dunia walisema: Laiti tungelikuwa na mfano wa aliyo pewa Qaruni! Hakika yeye ni mwenye bahati kubwa."

    "arabic": "وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ وَيْلَكُمْ ثَوَابُ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌۭ لِّمَنْ ءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَـٰلِحًۭا وَلَا يُلَقَّىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلصَّـٰبِرُونَ",
    "english": "But those who had been given knowledge said, 'Woe to you! The reward of Allah is better for he who believes and does righteous deeds. And none are granted it except the patient.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale walio pewa elimu walisema: Ole wenu! Thawabu za Mwenyezi Mungu ni bora kwa anayemuamini na akatenda mema. Wala hapewi hayo ila wenye kusubiri."

    "arabic": "فَخَسَفْنَا بِهِۦ وَبِدَارِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ فَمَا كَانَ لَهُۥ مِن فِئَةٍۢ يَنصُرُونَهُۥ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنتَصِرِينَ",
    "english": "And We caused the earth to swallow him and his home. And he had no company to aid him other than Allah, nor was he of those who could defend themselves.",
    "kiswahili": "Basi tukamfanya yeye na nyumba yake atekwe na ardhi. Basi hakuwa na kikundi cha kumsaidia badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu, wala hakuwa miongoni mwa wanao jitetea."

    "arabic": "وَأَصْبَحَ ٱلَّذِينَ تَمَنَّوْا۟ مَكَانَهُۥ بِٱلْأَمْسِ يَقُولُونَ وَيْكَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَقْدِرُ ۖ لَوْلَآ أَن مَّنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا لَخَسَفَ بِنَا ۖ وَيْكَأَنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ",
    "english": "And those who had wished for his position the previous day began to say, 'Oh, how Allah extends provision to whom He wills of His servants and restricts it! If not that Allah had favored us, He would have caused it to swallow us. Oh, how the disbelievers do not succeed!'",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale walio tamani kuwa kama yeye jana wakasema: Ole wetu! Mwenyezi Mungu humkunjulia riziki amtakaye miongoni mwa waja wake na humpimia. Laiti Mwenyezi Mungu asingetuneemesha tungeli tekwa nasi. Ole wetu! Wala makafiri hawafanikii."

    "arabic": "تِلْكَ ٱلدَّارُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ نَجْعَلُهَا لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُرِيدُونَ عُلُوًّۭا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا فَسَادًۭا ۚ وَٱلْعَـٰقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ",
    "english": "That home of the Hereafter We assign to those who do not desire exaltedness upon the earth or corruption. And the [best] outcome is for the righteous.",
    "kiswahili": "Hayo ndiyo makao ya Akhera tunayoyajaalia kwa wale wasio taka kujionyesha katika ardhi wala kufanya uharibifu. Na mwisho mwema ni wa wachamngu."

    "arabic": "مَن جَآءَ بِٱلْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُۥ خَيْرٌۭ مِّنْهَا ۖ وَمَن جَآءَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ فَلَا يُجْزَى ٱلَّذِينَ عَمِلُوا۟ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ",
    "english": "Whoever comes with a good deed will have better than it, and whoever comes with an evil deed – then those who did evil deeds will not be recompensed except as much as they used to do.",
    "kiswahili": "Atakaye leta wema atapata bora zaidi kuliko huo. Na atakaye leta ubaya, basi hawatalipwa waliyo fanya maovu ila kwa kadiri ya yale waliyo kuwa wakiyatenda."

    "arabic": "إِنَّ ٱلَّذِى فَرَضَ عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لَرَآدُّكَ إِلَىٰ مَعَادٍۢ ۚ قُل رَّبِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ مَن جَآءَ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَمَنْ هُوَ فِى ضَلَـٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ",
    "english": "Indeed, He who imposed upon you the Qur’an will return you to a place of return. Say, 'My Lord is most knowing of who brings guidance and who is in clear error.'",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika yule aliye kulazimisha Qur’ani atakurudisha pahala pa kurejea. Sema: Mola wangu Mlezi anajua zaidi ni nani aliyo leta uwongofu, na nani aliye katika upotovu wa wazi."

    "arabic": "وَمَا كُنتَ تَرْجُوٓا۟ أَن يُلْقَىٰٓ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبُ إِلَّا رَحْمَةًۭ مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۖ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ ظَهِيرًۭا لِّلْكَـٰفِرِينَ",
    "english": "And you were not expecting that the Book would be conveyed to you, but it is a mercy from your Lord. So never be an assistant to the disbelievers.",
    "kiswahili": "Wala hukutarajia kwamba Kitabu kitakuteremkia, lakini ni rehema itokayo kwa Mola wako Mlezi. Basi usiwe msaidizi wa makafiri."

    "arabic": "وَلَا يَصُدُّنَّكَ عَنْ ءَايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بَعْدَ إِذْ أُنزِلَتْ إِلَيْكَ ۖ وَٱدْعُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ۖ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ",
    "english": "And never let them avert you from the verses of Allah after they have been revealed to you. And invite to your Lord, and never be of those who associate others with Allah.",
    "kiswahili": "Wala wasikuzuie kutokana na Aya za Mwenyezi Mungu baada ya kwishakuteremkia. Na lingania kwa Mola wako Mlezi, wala usiwe miongoni mwa washirikina."

    "arabic": "وَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۘ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ كُلُّ شَىْءٍ هَالِكٌ إِلَّا وَجْهَهُۥ ۚ لَهُ ٱلْحُكْمُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ",
    "english": "And do not invoke with Allah another deity. There is no deity except Him. Everything will be destroyed except His Face. His is the judgement, and to Him you will be returned.",
    "kiswahili": "Wala usiombe pamoja na Mwenyezi Mungu mungu mwengine. Hapana mungu ila Yeye tu. Kila kitu kitaangamia isipo kuwa uso wake. Ni Yeye Mwenye hukumu, na kwake mtarejeshwa."
