    "english": "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.",
    "kiswahili": "Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu."

    "arabic": "تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِى نَزَّلَ ٱلْفُرْقَانَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِۦ لِيَكُونَ لِلْعَـٰلَمِينَ نَذِيرًۭا",
    "english": "Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His Servant that he may be to the worlds a warner.",
    "kiswahili": "Amebarikiwa Yeye aliyeiteremsha Furqani kwa mja Wake, ili awe mwonyaji kwa walimwengu wote."

    "arabic": "ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًۭا وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ شَرِيكٌۭ فِى ٱلْمُلْكِ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍۢ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ تَقْدِيرًۭا",
    "english": "He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, who has not taken a son and has not had a partner in dominion, and who created everything and determined it with precise determination.",
    "kiswahili": "Ambaye ni wake ufalme wa mbingu na ardhi, wala hakuwa na mwana, wala hakuwa na mshirika katika mamlaka. Na ameviumba kila kitu na akakipimia kipimo kamili."

    "arabic": "وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةًۭ لَّا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْـًۭٔا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنفُسِهِمْ ضَرًّۭا وَلَا نَفْعًۭا وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ مَوْتًۭا وَلَا حَيَوٰةًۭ وَلَا نُشُورًۭا",
    "english": "But they have taken besides Him gods which create nothing, while they are created; and they possess not for themselves any harm or benefit; and they do not possess power over death or life or resurrection.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wakajifanya badala Yake miungu ambayo haiumbi chochote, na wao huumbwa; wala hawana uwezo wa kujiletea madhara wala manufaa, wala hawana uwezo wa kufisha wala kuhuisha wala kufufua."

    "arabic": "وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّآ إِفْكٌ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ وَأَعَانَهُۥ عَلَيْهِ قَوْمٌ ءَاخَرُونَ ۖ فَقَدْ جَآءُو ظُلْمًۭا وَزُورًۭا",
    "english": "And those who disbelieve say, \"This is not except a lie he invented, and another people assisted him in it.\" But they have committed an injustice and a lie.",
    "kiswahili": "Na waliokufuru walisema: Hii si chochote ila ni uwongo aliouzua, na watu wengine wamemsaidia. Basi wamekuja na dhulma na uwongo."

    "arabic": "وَقَالُوٓا۟ أَسَـٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ٱكْتَتَبَهَا فَهِىَ تُمْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ بُكْرَةًۭ وَأَصِيلًۭا",
    "english": "And they say, \"Legends of the former peoples which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon.\"",
    "kiswahili": "Na wakasema: Hizi ni hadithi za watu wa kale alizoziandika, naye zinamsomewa asubuhi na jioni."

    "ayah": 6,
    "arabic": "قُلْ أَنزَلَهُ ٱلَّذِى يَعْلَمُ ٱلسِّرَّ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفُورًۭا رَّحِيمًۭا",
    "english": "Say, \"It has been sent down by He who knows the secret within the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He is ever Forgiving and Merciful.\"",
    "kiswahili": "Sema: Ameiteremsha Yeye anayejua siri za mbinguni na ardhini. Hakika Yeye ni Mwenye kusamehe, Mwenye kurehemu."

    "arabic": "وَقَالُوا۟ مَالِ هَـٰذَا ٱلرَّسُولِ يَأْكُلُ ٱلطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشِى فِى ٱلْأَسْوَاقِ ۙ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَلَكٌۭ فَيَكُونَ مَعَهُۥ نَذِيرًا",
    "english": "And they say, \"What is this messenger that eats food and walks in the markets? Why was there not sent down to him an angel so he would be with him a warner?\"",
    "kiswahili": "Na wakasema: Huyu ni Mtume gani anakula chakula na anatembea masokoni? Kwa nini malaika hateremshiwi kwake, ili awe mwonyaji pamoja naye?"

    "arabic": "أَوْ يُلْقَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِ كَنزٌ أَوْ تَكُونُ لَهُۥ جَنَّةٌۭ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهَا ۚ وَقَالَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا رَجُلًۭا مَّسْحُورًا",
    "english": "Or [why is not] a treasure presented to him, or a garden from which he could eat? And the wrongdoers say, \"You follow not but a man affected by magic.\"",
    "kiswahili": "Au kwanini asiteremshiwe kwake khazina, au awe na bustani ale ndani yake? Na hao madhalimu wakasema: Nyinyi hamfuati ila mtu aliyeghafilishwa na uchawi."

    "arabic": "ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ ضَرَبُوا۟ لَكَ ٱلْأَمْثَـٰلَ فَضَلُّوا۟ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ سَبِيلًۭا",
    "english": "Look how they strike for you comparisons; but they have strayed, so they cannot find a way.",
    "kiswahili": "Tazama jinsi wanavyokupigia mifano. Basi wamepotea, wala hawawezi kupata njia."

    "arabic": "تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِىٓ إِن شَآءَ جَعَلَ لَكَ خَيْرًۭا مِّن ذَٰلِكَ جَنَّـٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ وَيَجْعَل لَّكَ قُصُورًۢا",
    "english": "Blessed is He who, if He willed, could have made for you better than that – gardens beneath which rivers flow – and could make for you palaces.",
    "kiswahili": "Amebarikiwa Yeye ambaye akitaka atakufanyia bora zaidi kuliko hivyo, mabustani yapitayo mito chini yake, na akakufanyia majumba."

    "ayah": 11,
    "arabic": "بَلْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلسَّاعَةِ ۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِمَن كَذَّبَ بِٱلسَّاعَةِ سَعِيرًا",
    "english": "But they have denied the Hour, and We have prepared for those who deny the Hour a Blaze.",
    "kiswahili": "Lakini wamekadhibisha Saa. Na tumewaandalia wanaokadhibisha Saa Moto wa Sa‘ira."

    "ayah": 12,
    "arabic": "إِذَا رَأَتْهُم مِّن مَّكَانٍۭ بَعِيدٍۢ سَمِعُوا۟ لَهَا تَغَيُّظًۭا وَزَفِيرًۭا",
    "english": "When it sees them from a distant place, they will hear its fury and roaring.",
    "kiswahili": "Ikishawatazama kutoka mahali mbali, watasikia hasira yake na mlio wake."
  },

    "ayah": 13,
    "arabic": "وَإِذَآ أُلْقُوا۟ مِنْهَا مَكَانًۭا ضَيِّقًۭا مُّقَرَّنِينَ دَعَوْا۟ هُنَالِكَ ثُبُورًۭا",
    "english": "And when they are thrown into a narrow place therein bound in chains, they will cry out thereupon for destruction.",
    "kiswahili": "Na watakapotupwa humo mahali penye dhiki wakiwa wamefungwa kwa minyororo, hapo wataomba maangamizo."
  },

    "ayah": 14,
    "arabic": "لَّا تَدْعُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ ثُبُورًۭا وَٰحِدًۭا وَٱدْعُوا۟ ثُبُورًۭا كَثِيرًۭا",
    "english": "[It will be said], \"Do not cry this Day for one destruction but cry for much destruction.\"",
    "kiswahili": "Siku ya leo msiliombe maangamizo mara moja tu, bali liombeni maangamizo mengi."
  },

    "ayah": 15,
    "arabic": "قُلْ أَذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ أَمْ جَنَّةُ ٱلْخُلْدِ ٱلَّتِى وُعِدَ ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ ۚ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَزَآءًۭ وَمَصِيرًۭا",
    "english": "Say, \"Is that better or the Garden of Eternity which is promised to the righteous? It will be for them a reward and destination.\"",
    "kiswahili": "Sema: Hayo ni bora au Bustani ya milele iliyowaahidiwa wachamngu? Itakuwa ni malipo kwao na makaazi."
  },

    "ayah": 16,
    "arabic": "لَّهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَآءُونَ خَـٰلِدِينَ ۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَعْدًۭا مَّسْـُٔولًۭا",
    "english": "For them therein is whatever they wish, [while] abiding eternally. It is ever upon your Lord a promise [worthy to be] requested.",
    "kiswahili": "Watakuwa humo wanapata watakacho, wakiishi humo milele. Huo ni ahadi kutoka kwa Mola wako, yenye kuulizwa."

    "ayah": 17,
    "arabic": "وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَقُولُ ءَأَنتُمْ أَضْلَلْتُمْ عِبَادِى هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ أَمْ هُمْ ضَلُّوا۟ ٱلسَّبِيلَ",
    "english": "And [mention] the Day He will gather them and that which they worship besides Allah and will say, \"Did you mislead these My servants, or did they themselves stray from the way?\"",
    "kiswahili": "Na Siku atakapowakusanya wao na wale waliokuwa wakiabudu badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu, na atasema: Je, nyinyi ndio mliowapoteza hawa waja wangu, au wao wenyewe walipotea njia?"
  },

    "ayah": 18,
    "arabic": "قَالُوا۟ سُبْحَـٰنَكَ مَا كَانَ يَنۢبَغِى لَنَآ أَن نَّتَّخِذَ مِن دُونِكَ مِنْ أَوْلِيَآءَ وَلَـٰكِن مَّتَّعْتَهُمْ وَءَابَآءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ نَسُوا۟ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَكَانُوا۟ قَوْمًۢا بُورًۭا",
    "english": "They will say, \"Exalted are You! It was not for us to take besides You any allies. But You provided comforts for them and their fathers until they forgot the message and became a people ruined.\"",
    "kiswahili": "Watasema: Umetakasika Wewe! Haikustahiki kwetu kuchukua wasaidizi badala Yako. Lakini uliwastarehesha wao na baba zao mpaka wakasahau ukumbusho, na wakawa watu waliopotea."

    "ayah": 19,
    "arabic": "فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوكُم بِمَا تَقُولُونَ فَمَا تَسْتَطِيعُونَ صَرْفًۭا وَلَا نَصْرًۭا ۚ وَمَن يَظْلِم مِّنكُمْ نُذِقْهُ عَذَابًۭا كَبِيرًۭا",
    "english": "So they will deny you, in what you say, and you cannot avert [punishment] or find help. And whoever commits injustice among you – We will make him taste a great punishment.",
    "kiswahili": "Basi wamewakadhibisha kwa mliyoyasema. Hivyo hamuwezi kugeuza adhabu, wala kupata msaada. Na atakayefanya dhulma miongoni mwenu, tutamwonjesha adhabu kubwa."
  },

    "ayah": 20,
    "arabic": "وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّآ إِنَّهُمْ لَيَأْكُلُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشُونَ فِى ٱلْأَسْوَاقِ ۗ وَجَعَلْنَا بَعْضَكُمْ لِبَعْضٍۢ فِتْنَةً أَتَصْبِرُونَ ۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ بَصِيرًۭا",
    "english": "And We did not send before you, [O Muhammad], any of the messengers except that they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you [people] as a trial for others – will you have patience? And ever is your Lord, Seeing.",
    "kiswahili": "Na hatukuwatuma kabla yako Mitume ila walikuwa wakila chakula na kutembea masokoni. Na tumewafanyia baadhi yenu kuwa mtihani kwa wengine. Je, mtasubiri? Na Mola wako ni Mwenye kuona."

    "ayah": 21,
    "arabic": "۞ وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَآءَنَا لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ أَوْ نَرَىٰ رَبَّنَا ۗ لَقَدِ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَعَتَوْ عُتُوًّۭا كَبِيرًۭا",
    "english": "And those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, 'Why were not the angels sent down to us, or [why] do we [not] see our Lord?' They have certainly become arrogant within themselves and [become] insolent with great insolence.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale wasiotarajia kukutana nasi wanasema: 'Kwa nini malaika hawakuteremshiwa juu yetu au hatumuoni Mola wetu?' Hakika wamejivuna nafis zao na wameasi kwa uasi mkubwa."

    "ayah": 22,
    "arabic": "يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ لَا بُشْرَىٰ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ وَيَقُولُونَ حِجْرًۭا مَّحْجُورًۭا",
    "english": "The Day they see the angels - no good tidings will there be that Day for the criminals, and [the angels] will say, 'Prevented, utterly prevented.'",
    "kiswahili": "Siku watakapo waona malaika, hapana habari njema siku hiyo kwa wakosefu, na watasema: 'Kizuizi, kizuizi kilichokatazwa kabisa.'"

    "ayah": 23,
    "arabic": "وَقَدِمْنَآ إِلَىٰ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ مِنْ عَمَلٍۢ فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ هَبَآءًۭ مَّنثُورًا",
    "english": "And We will regard what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed.",
    "kiswahili": "Na tutayakaribia yale waliyoyafanya ya vitendo na tukayafanya kuwa mavumbi yaliyo tawanyika."
  },

    "ayah": 24,
    "arabic": "أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَيْرٌۭ مُّسْتَقَرًّۭا وَأَحْسَنُ مَقِيلًۭا",
    "english": "The companions of Paradise, that Day, are [in] a better settlement and better resting place.",
    "kiswahili": "Watu wa Peponi siku hiyo watakuwa na makaazi bora zaidi na mahali pazuri zaidi pa mapumziko."

    "ayah": 25,
    "arabic": "وَيَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ بِٱلْغَمَـٰمِ وَنُزِّلَ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ تَنزِيلًا",
    "english": "And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds, and the angels will be sent down in successive descent.",
    "kiswahili": "Na siku mbingu zitakapo pasuka kwa mawingu na malaika watateremshwa kwa kushuka mara nyingi."

    "ayah": 26,
    "arabic": "ٱلْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْحَقُّ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ۚ وَكَانَ يَوْمًا عَلَى ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ عَسِيرًۭا",
    "english": "True sovereignty, that Day, is for the Most Merciful. And it will be upon the disbelievers a difficult Day.",
    "kiswahili": "Ufalme wa kweli siku hiyo ni wa Mwingi wa Rehema. Na utakuwa siku ngumu juu ya makafiri."
  },

    "ayah": 27,
    "arabic": "وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ ٱلظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ يَـٰلَيْتَنِى ٱتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ ٱلرَّسُولِ سَبِيلًۭا",
    "english": "And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, 'Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na siku ambayo mwenye dhulma atang'ata mikono yake atasema: 'Laiti ningelifuata njia pamoja na Mtume.'"
  },

    "ayah": 28,
    "arabic": "يَـٰوَيْلَتَىٰ لَيْتَنِى لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيلًۭا",
    "english": "Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend.",
    "kiswahili": "Ole wangu! Laiti nisingemchukua fulani kuwa rafiki."
  },

    "ayah": 29,
    "arabic": "لَّقَدْ أَضَلَّنِى عَنِ ٱلذِّكْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ جَآءَنِى ۗ وَكَانَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ لِلْإِنسَـٰنِ خَذُولًۭا",
    "english": "He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika amenipoteza na kuniepusha na ukumbusho baada ya kuufikia. Na Shetani daima ni muasi kwa mwanadamu."

    "ayah": 30,
    "arabic": "وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَـٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِى ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مَهْجُورًۭا",
    "english": "And the Messenger has said, 'O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing] abandoned.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na Mtume atasema: 'Ewe Mola wangu, hakika watu wangu wameifanya hii Qur'ani kuwa yenye kutelekezwa.'"
  },

    "surah": 25,
    "ayah": 31,
    "arabic": "وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّۭا مِّنَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًۭا وَنَصِيرًۭا",
    "english": "And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord as a guide and helper.",
    "kiswahili": "Na vivyo hivyo tumemfanyia kila Nabii adui miongoni mwa wakosefu. Lakini Mola wako anatosha kuwa muongozaji na msaidizi."
  },

    "surah": 25,
    "ayah": 32,
    "arabic": "وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ جُمْلَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِۦ فُؤَادَكَ ۖ وَرَتَّلْنَـٰهُ تَرْتِيلًۭا",
    "english": "And those who disbelieve say, 'Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?' Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale waliokufuru wanasema: 'Kwa nini Qur'ani haikuteremshwa kwake kwa jumla moja?' Hivyo tumeteremsha ili kuutia nguvu moyo wako. Na tumeisomea kwa mpangilio."
  },

    "ayah": 33,
    "arabic": "وَلَا يَأْتُونَكَ بِمَثَلٍ إِلَّا جِئْنَـٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَأَحْسَنَ تَفْسِيرًا",
    "english": "And they do not come to you with an argument except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation.",
    "kiswahili": "Wala hawakuletei mfano wowote ila tumekuletea haki na tafsiri bora zaidi."

    "ayah": 34,
    "arabic": "ٱلَّذِينَ يُحْشَرُونَ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ شَرٌّۭ مَّكَانًۭا وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًۭا",
    "english": "The ones who are gathered on their faces to Hell - those are the worst in position and farthest astray in [their] way.",
    "kiswahili": "Wale watakaokusanywa juu ya nyuso zao kuelekea Jahannam - hao ndio wabaya zaidi kwa makao na walio potea zaidi kwa njia."
  },

    "ayah": 35,
    "arabic": "وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ وَجَعَلْنَا مَعَهُۥٓ أَخَاهُ هَـٰرُونَ وَزِيرًۭا",
    "english": "And We had certainly given Moses the Scripture and appointed with him his brother Aaron as an assistant.",
    "kiswahili": "Na hakika tulimpa Musa Kitabu na tukamweka nduguye Harun kuwa msaidizi."

    "ayah": 36,
    "arabic": "فَقُلْنَا ٱذْهَبَآ إِلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا فَدَمَّرْنَـٰهُمْ تَدْمِيرًۭا",
    "english": "And We said, 'Go both of you to the people who have denied Our signs.' Then We destroyed them with [complete] destruction.",
    "kiswahili": "Tukasema: 'Nendeni nyote wawili kwa watu waliokanusha Ishara zetu.' Tukawaangamiza kwa maangamizo makubwa."

    "ayah": 37,
    "arabic": "وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍۢ لَّمَّا كَذَّبُوا۟ ٱلرُّسُلَ أَغْرَقْنَـٰهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ ءَايَةًۭ ۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًۭا",
    "english": "And the people of Noah - when they denied the messengers, We drowned them, and We made them for mankind a sign. And We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment.",
    "kiswahili": "Na watu wa Nuhu - walipowakadhibisha Mitume, tuliwazamisha, na tukawafanya kuwa ishara kwa watu. Na tumewaandalia wenye dhulma adhabu chungu."
  },

    "ayah": 38,
    "arabic": "وَعَادًۭا وَثَمُودَا۟ وَأَصْحَـٰبَ ٱلرَّسِّ وَقُرُونًۢا بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ كَثِيرًۭا",
    "english": "And [We destroyed] 'Aad and Thamud and the companions of the well and many generations between them.",
    "kiswahili": "Na (tuliwaangamiza) ‘Aad na Thamud na watu wa kisima na vizazi vingi kati ya hao."

    "arabic": "وَكُلًّۭا ضَرَبْنَا لَهُ ٱلْأَمْثَـٰلَ ۖ وَكُلًّۭا تَبَّرْنَا تَتْبِيرًۭا",
    "english": "And for each We presented examples [as warnings], and each We destroyed with [total] destruction.",
    "kiswahili": "Na kwa kila mmoja tulileta mifano ya kuonya, na kwa kila mmoja tukawaangamiza kwa maangamizo makubwa."

    "arabic": "وَلَقَدْ أَتَوْا۟ عَلَى ٱلْقَرْيَةِ ٱلَّتِىٓ أُمْطِرَتْ مَطَرَ ٱلسَّوْءِ ۚ أَفَلَمْ يَكُونُوا۟ يَرَوْنَهَا ۚ بَلْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَرْجُونَ نُشُورًۭا",
    "english": "And they have already come upon the town which was showered with a terrible rain. Have they not seen it? But they do not expect resurrection.",
    "kiswahili": "Na kwa yakini walipita katika mji uliopigwa mvua mbaya. Je, hawakuwa wanaiona? Bali wao hawakuwa wakitarajia kufufuliwa."

    "arabic": "وَإِذَا رَأَوْكَ إِن يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى بَعَثَ ٱللَّهُ رَسُولًا",
    "english": "And when they see you, [O Muhammad], they take you not except in ridicule, [saying], \"Is this the one whom Allah has sent as a messenger?\"",
    "kiswahili": "Na wanapokuona, hawakuchukulii ila kwa dhihaka: 'Huyu ndiye aliyempeleka Mwenyezi Mungu kuwa Mtume?'"

    "ayah": 42,
    "arabic": "إِن كَادَ لَيُضِلُّنَا عَنْ ءَالِهَتِنَا لَوْلَآ أَن صَبَرْنَا عَلَيْهَا ۚ وَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ حِينَ يَرَوْنَ ٱلْعَذَابَ مَنْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا",
    "english": "He almost would have misled us from our gods had we not been steadfast in [worshipping] them. But they are going to know, when they see the punishment, who is farthest astray in [his] way.",
    "kiswahili": "Alikuwa karibu atupoteze na miungu yetu lau kama hatukuvumilia juu yake. Lakini watakuja kujua watakapoona adhabu ni nani aliyepotea njia zaidi."

    "arabic": "أَرَءَيْتَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَـٰهَهُۥ هَوَىٰهُ أَفَأَنتَ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ وَكِيلًا",
    "english": "Have you seen the one who takes as his god his own desire? Then would you be responsible for him?",
    "kiswahili": "Je! Umemuona yule aliyechukua matamanio yake kuwa mungu wake? Je, utakuwa mlinzi juu yake?"

    "ayah": 44,
    "arabic": "أَمْ تَحْسَبُ أَنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ أَوْ يَعْقِلُونَ ۚ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا كَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ ۖ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا",
    "english": "Or do you think that most of them hear or reason? They are not except like cattle. Rather, they are [even] more astray in [their] way.",
    "kiswahili": "Au unadhani kuwa wengi wao wanasikia au wanaelewa? Hawana tofauti ila kama wanyama. Bali wao wamepotea njia zaidi."

    "arabic": "أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَيْفَ مَدَّ ٱلظِّلَّ وَلَوْ شَآءَ لَجَعَلَهُۥ سَاكِنًۭا ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا ٱلشَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيلًۭا",
    "english": "Have you not considered your Lord - how He extends the shadow, and if He willed, He could have made it stationary? Then We made the sun for it an indication.",
    "kiswahili": "Je! Hukumuona Mola wako Mlezi jinsi alivyoeneza kivuli? Na kama angalipenda angelifanya kisimame. Kisha tukaiweka jua kuwa ni dalili yake."

    "arabic": "ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَـٰهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًۭا يَسِيرًۭا",
    "english": "Then We withdraw it to Us a gradual withdrawal.",
    "kiswahili": "Kisha tukakikamata kwetu kwa kukamata kwa upole."

    "ayah": 47,
    "arabic": "وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ لِبَاسًۭا وَٱلنَّوْمَ سُبَاتًۭا وَجَعَلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ نُشُورًۭا",
    "english": "And it is He who has made the night for you as clothing and sleep [a means for] rest and has made the day a resurrection.",
    "kiswahili": "Na Yeye ndiye aliyekufanyieni usiku uwe nguo na usingizi pumziko, na akaufanya mchana kuwa ni kuamka."

    "arabic": "وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَرْسَلَ ٱلرِّيَـٰحَ بُشْرًۢا بَيْنَ يَدَىْ رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚ وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ طَهُورًۭا",
    "english": "And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy, and We send down from the sky pure water.",
    "kiswahili": "Na Yeye ndiye anayezileta pepo ziwe bishara kabla ya rehema Yake. Na tumeteremsha kutoka mbinguni maji safi."

    "arabic": "لِّنُحْـِۧىَ بِهِۦ بَلْدَةًۭ مَّيْتًۭا وَنُسْقِيَهُۥ مِمَّا خَلَقْنَآ أَنْعَـٰمًۭا وَأَنَاسِىَّ كَثِيرًۭا",
    "english": "That We may give life thereby to a dead land and give it as drink to those We created of numerous livestock and men.",
    "kiswahili": "Ili tuhuikishe kwa hayo mji uliokufa, na tuwanyweshe kwa hayo wanyama wengi tulio waumba na watu."

    "arabic": "وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَـٰهُ بَيْنَهُمْ لِيَذَّكَّرُوا۟ فَأَبَىٰٓ أَكْثَرُ ٱلنَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورًۭا",
    "english": "And We have certainly distributed it among them that they might be reminded, but most of the people refuse except disbelief.",
    "kiswahili": "Na kwa yakini tumelitawanya kati yao ili wapate kukumbuka, lakini watu wengi hawakukubali ila ukafiri."
  },

    "ayah": 51,
    "arabic": "وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَبَعَثْنَا فِى كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍۢ نَّذِيرًۭا",
    "english": "And if We had willed, We could have sent into every city a warner.",
    "kiswahili": "Na lau tungalipenda tungaliwapelekea kila kijiji muonyaji."

    "ayah": 52,
    "arabic": "فَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ وَجَـٰهِدْهُم بِهِۦ جِهَادًۭا كَبِيرًۭا",
    "english": "So do not obey the disbelievers, and strive against them with it a great striving.",
    "kiswahili": "Basi usiwatii makafiri, na jihadishe nao kwa (Qur’ani) jihadi kubwa."

    "arabic": "وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ هَـٰذَا عَذْبٌۭ فُرَاتٌۭ وَهَـٰذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌۭ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخًۭا وَحِجْرًۭا مَّحْجُورًۭا",
    "english": "And it is He who has released [simultaneously] the two seas, one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition.",
    "kiswahili": "Na Yeye ndiye aliyeachilia bahari mbili: hii ni tamu yenye ladha nzuri na hii ni chumvi yenye uchungu, na akaweka baina yao kizuizi na mpaka uliozuiliwa."

    "arabic": "وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ بَشَرًۭا فَجَعَلَهُۥ نَسَبًۭا وَصِهْرًۭا ۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيرًۭا",
    "english": "And it is He who created man from water and made for him [bonds of] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation].",
    "kiswahili": "Na Yeye ndiye aliyeumba mtu kwa maji, akamfanya awe na nasaba na ujamaa. Na Mola wako Mlezi ni Muweza wa kila kitu."

    "ayah": 55,
    "arabic": "وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُهُمْ وَلَا يَضُرُّهُمْ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱلْكَافِرُ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ ظَهِيرًۭا",
    "english": "But they worship other than Allah that which neither benefits them nor harms them. And the disbeliever is ever, against his Lord, an assistant [to Satan].",
    "kiswahili": "Na wanaabudu badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu yasiyowafaidisha wala kuwadhuru. Na kafiri ni msaidizi dhidi ya Mola wake Mlezi."

    "ayah": 56,
    "arabic": "وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرًۭا وَنَذِيرًۭا",
    "english": "And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a bringer of good tidings and a warner.",
    "kiswahili": "Wala hatukukutuma ila uwe mbashiri na muonyaji."

    "ayah": 57,
    "arabic": "قُلْ مَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ أَن يَتَّخِذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًۭا",
    "english": "Say, I do not ask of you for it any payment – only that whoever wills might take to his Lord a way.",
    "kiswahili": "Sema: Sikuombeni juu ya hii malipo yoyote, ila anayetaka achukue njia ya kwenda kwa Mola wake Mlezi."

    "ayah": 58,
    "arabic": "وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱلْحَىِّ ٱلَّذِى لَا يَمُوتُ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهِۦ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِهِۦ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرًا",
    "english": "And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [Allah] with His praise. And sufficient is He to be, with the sins of His servants, Acquainted.",
    "kiswahili": "Na mtawakale juu ya Aliye Hai asiyekufa, na msifie kwa sifa zake. Na Yeye ndiye wa kutosha kuwa Mwenye khabari za dhambi za waja wake."

    "ayah": 59,
    "arabic": "ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍۢ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ۚ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ فَسْـَٔلْ بِهِۦ خَبِيرًۭا",
    "english": "He who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days and then established Himself above the Throne – the Most Merciful, so ask about Him one well informed.",
    "kiswahili": "Yeye ndiye aliyeziumba mbingu na ardhi na vilivyomo baina yao kwa siku sita; kisha akatawala Arshi. Mwingi wa rehema! Basi muulize Yeye ni mjuzi."
  },

    "ayah": 60,
    "arabic": "وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ قَالُوا۟ وَمَا ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ أَنَسْجُدُ لِمَا تَأْمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمْ نُفُورًۭا",
    "english": "And when it is said to them, 'Prostrate to the Most Merciful,' they say, 'And what is the Most Merciful? Should we prostrate to that which you order us?' And it increases them in aversion.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wanapoambiwa: Msujudieni Mwingi wa rehema, husema: Ni nani huyo Mwingi wa rehema? Tumfanyie sujudu yule unayetuamrisha? Na hayo yanawazidisha chuki."
  },

    "ayah": 61,
    "arabic": "تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًۭا وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَٰجًۭا وَقَمَرًۭا مُّنِيرًۭا",
    "english": "Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon.",
    "kiswahili": "Amebarikiwa Yeye aliyezifanya mbinguni ngome, na akafanya humo taa na mwezi wenye nuru."
  },

    "ayah": 62,
    "arabic": "وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةًۭ لِّمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًۭا",
    "english": "And He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude.",
    "kiswahili": "Na Yeye ndiye aliyeufanya usiku na mchana wawe wakifuatana kwa anayetaka kukumbuka au anayetaka kushukuru."

    "ayah": 63,
    "arabic": "وَعِبَادُ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ هَوْنًۭا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ ٱلْجَـٰهِلُونَ قَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمًۭا",
    "english": "And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace.",
    "kiswahili": "Na waja wa Mwingi wa rehema ni wale wanaotembea katika ardhi kwa unyenyekevu, na wajinga wanapowahutubia husema: Salama."
  },

    "ayah": 64,
    "arabic": "وَٱلَّذِينَ يَبِيتُونَ لِرَبِّهِمْ سُجَّدًۭا وَقِيَـٰمًۭا",
    "english": "And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer].",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale wanaolala kwa Mola wao wakiwa wasujudu na kusimama."
  },
  {
    "surah": 25,
    "ayah": 65,
    "arabic": "وَٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا ٱصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا",
    "english": "And those who say, 'Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale ambao husema: Mola wetu! Tuondolee adhabu ya Jahannamu; hakika adhabu yake ni yenye kushikamana."
  },

    "ayah": 66,
    "arabic": "إِنَّهَا سَآءَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّۭا وَمُقَامًۭا",
    "english": "Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence.",
    "kiswahili": "Hakika hiyo ni pahala pabaya pa kukaa na makao."
  },

    "ayah": 67,
    "arabic": "وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَنفَقُوا۟ لَمْ يُسْرِفُوا۟ وَلَمْ يَقْتُرُوا۟ وَكَانَ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ قَوَامًۭا",
    "english": "And those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderate.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale ambao wanapotumia hawafanyi israfu wala hawabakhili, bali kati ya hayo wanashika njia ya wastani."
  },

    "ayah": 68,
    "arabic": "وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ وَلَا يَقْتُلُونَ ٱلنَّفْسَ ٱلَّتِى حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا يَزْنُونَ ۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًۭا",
    "english": "And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden, except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale wasiomwita mungu mwingine pamoja na Mwenyezi Mungu, wala hawaui nafsi ambayo Mwenyezi Mungu ameharamisha isipokuwa kwa haki, wala hawazini. Na atakayefanya hayo atapata adhabu."
  },
  {
    "surah": 25,
    "ayah": 69,
    "arabic": "يُضَـٰعَفْ لَهُ ٱلْعَذَابُ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ وَيَخْلُدْ فِيهِۦ مُهَانًا",
    "english": "Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated.",
    "kiswahili": "Atazidishiwa adhabu Siku ya Kiyama, naye atadumu humo kwa dharau."
  },
  {
    "surah": 25,
    "ayah": 70,
    "arabic": "إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلًۭا صَـٰلِحًۭا فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ ٱللَّهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ حَسَنَـٰتٍۢ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًۭا رَّحِيمًۭا",
    "english": "Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.",
    "kiswahili": "Isipokuwa wale waliotubu na wakaamini na wakatenda mema, basi hao Mwenyezi Mungu atawabadilishia maovu yao kwa mema. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Msamehevu, Mwenye kurehemu."
  },
  {
    "surah": 25,
    "ayah": 71,
    "arabic": "وَمَن تَابَ وَعَمِلَ صَـٰلِحًۭا فَإِنَّهُۥ يَتُوبُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَتَابًۭا",
    "english": "And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance.",
    "kiswahili": "Na anayetubu na akatenda mema, basi hakika amemuelekea Mwenyezi Mungu kwa toba ya kweli."
  },
  {
    "surah": 25,
    "ayah": 72,
    "arabic": "وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ ٱلزُّورَ وَإِذَا مَرُّوا۟ بِٱللَّغْوِ مَرُّوا۟ كِرَامًۭا",
    "english": "And they are those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale wasiotoa ushahidi wa uongo, na wanapopita kwa upuuzi hupita kwa heshima."
  },
  {
    "surah": 25,
    "ayah": 73,
    "arabic": "وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَمْ يَخِرُّوا۟ عَلَيْهَا صُمًّۭا وَعُمْيَانًۭا",
    "english": "And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind.",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale ambao wanapokumbushwa Ishara za Mola wao hawazipiti kwa upofu na kiziwi."
  },
  {
    "surah": 25,
    "ayah": 74,
    "arabic": "وَٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَٰجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّـٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍۢ وَٱجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا",
    "english": "And those who say, 'Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.'",
    "kiswahili": "Na wale ambao husema: Mola wetu! Tupe wake zetu na kizazi chetu wawe furaha ya macho yetu, na utufanye tuwe waongozi wa wacha-Mungu."
  },
  {
    "surah": 25,
    "ayah": 75,
    "arabic": "أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ يُجْزَوْنَ ٱلْغُرْفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ وَيُلَقَّوْنَ فِيهَا تَحِيَّةًۭ وَسَلَـٰمًا",
    "english": "Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace.",
    "kiswahili": "Hao watapewa malipo ya vyumba vya juu kwa waliyo subiri, na watakutana humo kwa salamu na amani."
  },
  {
    "surah": 25,
    "ayah": 76,
    "arabic": "خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ حَسُنَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّۭا وَمُقَامًۭا",
    "english": "Abiding eternally therein. Good is the settlement and residence.",
    "kiswahili": "Wakidumu humo daima. Hayo ni makaazi mema na mapumziko mazuri."
  },

    "ayah": 77,
