and advantages of visiting Imam al-Husayn ('a) on the 'Arafat Day are innumerable. Heading for filling the dear believers with desire for visiting Imam al-Husayn ('a) on this day, we will hereinafter cite a few number of these traditions:

Peace be upon you, O Thar Allah and son of his Thar.

And the motor wound
Na jeraha la motor

I bear witness that you have performed the prayer

And you paid zakat

and you enjoined what is good,

And you forbade evil

And you obeyed God until certainty came to you
Na mlimtii Mwenyezi Mungu mpaka ikakujieni yakini

May God curse the nation that killed you
Mungu alilaani taifa lililokuuwa

ููุฉู ุธูููู

May God curse the nation that wronged you
Mungu alilaani taifa lililokudhulumu
ููููุนููู ุงูููู ุฃูู
ููุฉู ุณูู
ูุนูุชู ุจูุฐูููู ููุฑูุถูููุชู ุจููู
May God curse a nation that heard that and accepted it.
Mungu alaanie taifa lililosikia hilo na kulikubali.

Oh my lord, Abu Abdullah
Ewe mola wangu, Abu Abdullah

I call God and His angels to witness
Ninamshuhudisha Mwenyezi Mungu na Malaika wake
ูู ุงูููุจูููุขุกููู ูู ุฑูุณููููู
And his prophets and messengers
Na Manabii na Mitume wake

ู ู

I believe in you and in your return
Nakuamini wewe na kurudi kwako

Firm in the laws of my religion and the conclusions of my work
Imara katika sheria za dini yangu na hitimisho la kazi yangu

And my turning to my Lord
Na kurejea kwangu kwa Mola wangu Mlezi

May Godโs blessings be upon you
Baraka za Mungu ziwe juu yako

And on your souls and on your bodies
Na juu ya nafsi zenu na juu ya miili yenu

ู ูู ุนูููู ุบูุงุฆูุจูููู
ู
And upon your witness and upon those who are absent.
Na juu ya mashahidi wako na juu ya wale wasiokuwepo.

ู ูู ุจูุงุทูููููู
ู
and in your outward and inward (realities).
na katika mambo yenu ya nje na ya ndani.

Peace be upon you, O son of the Seal of the Prophets
Amani iwe juu yako ewe mwana wa Muhuri wa Manabii

And the son of the master of the guardians
Na mtoto wa bwana wa walinzi

And the son of Imam Al-Muttaqeen
Na mtoto wa Imam Al-Muttaqiyn

And the son of the leader of the young who will be transported to gardens of bliss.
Na mtoto wa kiongozi wa vijana ambaye atasafirishwa kwenye bustani za neema.

And how could it not be like that?
Na isingewezaje kuwa hivyo?

And you are the door of guidance
Na wewe ni mlango wa uwongofu

ู ุงูุชููููู
And the imam of piety
Na imamu wa uchamungu
ูู ุงููุนูุฑูููุฉู ุงููููุซูููู
And the most trustworthy handhold
Na mkono wa kuaminika zaidi
ูู ุงููุญูุฌูุฉู ุนูููู ุงููููู ุงูุฏููููููุง
And the argument is for the people of the world
Na hoja ni kwa watu wa dunia
ูู ุฎูุงู
ูุณู ุงูุถุญูุงุจู [ุงูู] ุงููููุณูุงุกู
And the fifth Ahabab [the people of] Al-Kisa
Na Ahabaa ya tano [watu wa] Al-Kisa

The hand of mercy has nourished you
Mkono wa rehema umekulisha
ูู ุฑูุถูุนุชู [ุฑูุถูุนูุชู] ู

And you were suckled [suckled] from the breast of faith.
Na ulinyonyeshwa [kunyonya] kutoka katika matiti ya imani.

And I was raised in the stone of Islam

And the companion of regular calamity

May God curse a nation that perverts incest

So you, may Godโs prayers and peace be upon you, were killed in subjugation

And upon the angels surrounding your grave

And the witnesses of your visitors

Believers accept the supplications of your Shiites

May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

I bear witness that you have been sincere to God, to His Messenger, and to your brother.

And God cursed a nation that made incestuous incest permissible.

In your speech, you violated the sanctity of Islam.

From the great reward and beautiful praise

My ignorance and my audacity did not prevent you from doing so.
Mungu akupe hadhi sawa na baba zako.

In the abode of bliss
Katika makao ya neema

He is Praiseworthy and Glorious.

And to visit your saints I intended

Desire for your reward
Tamaa ya malipo yako

ูุบูููุฑูุชููู
And I hope for your forgiveness
Na ninatumai msamaha wako

Your benevolence is greatly appreciated
Ukarimu wako unathaminiwa sana
ููุงุณูุงููููู ุงููู ุชูุตูููููู ุนูููู ู

So I ask you to bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
Kwa hivyo nakuomba umbariki Muhammad na familia ya Muhammad
ูู ุงููู ุชูุฌูุนููู ุฑูุฒูููู ุจูููู
ู ุฏูุขุฑูุง
And to make my provision for them an abode
Na niwafanyie riziki yangu makazi
ูู ุนูููุดููู ุจูููู
ู ููุงุฑูุง
And live comfortably with them
Na kuishi nao kwa raha
ูู ุฒูููุงุฑูุชููู ุจูููู
ู ู
ูููุจูููููุฉู
My visit to them is acceptable
Ziara yangu kwao inakubalika
ูู ุญูููุงุชููู ุจูููู
ู ุทููููุจูุฉู
And my life is good with them
Na maisha yangu ni mazuri pamoja nao
ูู ุฐูููุจููู ุจูููู
ู ู
ูุบูููููุฑูุง
And my sins against them are forgiven
Na dhambi zangu dhidi yao zimesamehewa
ูู ุงููููุจููููู ุจูููู
ู ู
ูููููุญูุง ู
ูููุฌูุญูุง
And lead me to success through them.
Na kuniongoza kwenye mafanikio kupitia kwao.
ู
ูุณุชูุฌูุงุจูุง ุฏูุนูุขุฆููู
My supplication was answered
Dua yangu ilijibiwa
ุจูุงูููุถููู ู
ูุง ููููููููุจู ุจููู ุขูุญูุฏู
The best thing anyone can do
Jambo bora zaidi ambalo mtu yeyote anaweza kufanya

ููู ุฒููููุงุฑููู ูู ุงููููุงุตูุฏููููู ุงููููููู
From its visitors and those who go to it
Kutoka kwa wageni wake na wanaoiendea
ุจูุฑูุญูู
ูุชููู ููุข ุงูุฑูุญูู
ู ุงูุฑููุงุญูู

by Your mercy, O most merciful of all those who show mercy.
Kwa rehema Zako, Ee Mwingi wa rehema kuliko wote wenye kurehemu.
