THE SERMON ON THE EID AL FITR DAY This sermon (khutbah) is delivered by the imam (leader) of the Congregational 'Id Prayer. In his book of man-la- yahzuruhul-faqih, Shaykh al-Saduq has reported the following
HUTUBA YA SIKU YA EID AL FITR Khutbah hii (khutbah) inatolewa na imamu (kiongozi) wa Swala ya Id ya Jamaa. Katika kitabu chake cha man-la- yahzuruhul-faqih, Shaykh al-Saduq amesimulia yafuatayo.

اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْاَرْضَ وَ جَعَلَ الظُلُمَاتِ وَ النُّوْرَ ثُمَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا
Praise be to God who created the heavens and the earth and made the darknesses and the light. Then those who disbelieve
Sifa njema zote ni za Mungu aliyeumba mbingu na ardhi na akafanya giza na mwanga. Kisha walio kufuru
بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُوْنَ لَا نُشرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا وَ لَا نَتَخِذُ مِنْ دُوْنِهِ وَلِيَّا وَ الْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِيْ لَهُ مَا
They do justice to their Lord. We do not associate anything with God, nor do we take any guardian other than Him. Praise be to God, to whom belongs
Wanamfanyia uadilifu Mola wao Mlezi. Sisi hatumshirikishi Mwenyezi Mungu na chochote, wala hatuchukui mlinzi asiyekuwa Yeye. Asifiwe Mungu ambaye ni wake
فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَ لَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْأَخِرَةِ وَ هُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيْرُ يَعْلَمُ
In the heavens and all that is on earth, and to Him is praise in the Hereafter, and He is the Wise, the All-Knowing.
Katika mbingu na viliomo katika ardhi, na sifa njema ni zake Yeye Akhera, na Yeye ndiye Mwenye hikima, Mjuzi.
مَا يَلِجُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَ مَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا وَ مَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ وَ مَا يَعْرُجُ فِيْهَا وَ هُوَ
What enters the earth and what comes out of it and what descends from the sky and what ascends therein, and it is
Kinacho ingia katika ardhi na kinacho toka humo na kinacho teremka kutoka mbinguni na kinacho panda humo.
الرَّجِيْمُ الْغَفُوْرُ كَذلِكَ اللهُ لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا هُوَ اِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيْرُ وَ الْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِيْ يُمْسِكُ
The Accursed, the Forgiving. Likewise is God. There is no god but Him. To Him is the return. Praise be to God who withholds.
Mlaaniwa, Mwenye kusamehe. Vivyo hivyo ni Mungu. Hapana mungu ila Yeye. Kwake ndio marejeo. Asifiwe Mungu azuiaye.
السَّمَاءَ اَنْ تَقَعَ عَلَى الْاَرْضِ اِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ اِنَّ اللهَ بِالنَّاسِ لَرَؤُفٌ رَجِيْمٌ اَللَّهُمَّ ازْحَمْنَا
The sky does not fall on the earth except by His permission. Indeed, God is Most Compassionate and Compassionate towards people.
Mbingu hazianguki juu ya ardhi ila kwa idhini yake. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye huruma na Mwenye huruma kwa watu.
بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَ اعْمُمْنَا بِمَغْفِرَتِكَ إِنَّكَ آَنْتَ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيْرُ وَ الْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِيْ لَا مَقْنُوْطُ مِنْ
with Your mercy and cover us with Your forgiveness. Indeed, You are the Most High, the Great, and praise be to God who does not despair.
kwa rehema zako na utufunike kwa msamaha wako. Hakika Wewe ndiye Uliye juu, Mkuu, na sifa njema ni za Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye hakati tamaa.
رَحْمَتِهِ وَ لَا مَخْلُوُ مِنْ نِعْمَتِهِ، وَ لَا مُؤْيَسْ مِنْ رَوْجِهِ وَ لَا مُسْتَنْكِفٌ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ
His mercy, and there is no one who is deprived of His grace, and there is no one who is comforted by His grace, and there is no one who turns away from His worship.
Rehema Yake, na hakuna anayenyimwa fadhila Yake, na hakuna anayefarijiwa na fadhila zake, na hakuna anayepuuza ibada yake.
بِكَلِمَتِهِ قَامَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ السَّبْعُ وَ اسْتَقَرَّتِ الْاَرْضُ الْمِهَادُ وَ ثَبَتَتٍ
By his word the seven heavens were established, and the earth was settled and stable.
Kwa neno lake mbingu saba zilianzishwa, na dunia ikawekwa imara na imara.
الْجِبَالُ الرَّوَاسِي وَ جَرَتِ الرِّيَاحُ اللَّوَاقِحُ وَ سَارَ فِيْ جَوِّ السَّمَآءِ السَّحَابُ وَ قَامَثْ
The mountains were solid, the fertile winds blew, and the clouds moved in the air of the sky and rose.
Milima ilikuwa imara, pepo zenye rutuba zilivuma, na mawingu yalisonga angani na kuinuka.
عَلَى حُدُوْدِهَا الْبِحَارُ وَ هُوَ اِلْهُ لَهَا وَ قَاهِرٌ يَذِلَ لَهُ الْمُتَعَرِّزُوْنَ وَ يَتَضَاءَلُ لَهُ
On its borders are the seas, and He is their God and a conqueror. Those who are arrogant are humiliated by Him and insignificant to Him.
Katika mipaka yake ziko bahari, na Yeye ndiye Mungu wao na Mshindi. Wale wanaotakabari wanadhalilishwa Naye na hawana umuhimu Kwake.
الْمُتَكَبَّرُوْنَ وَ يَدِيْنُ لَهُ طَوْعًا وَ كَزْهَا اِلْعَالَمُوْنَ نَحْمَدُهُ كَمَا حَمِدَ نَفْسَهُ وَ كَمَا هُوَ
The arrogant, and He willingly submits to Him, and the worldly people praise Him. We praise Him as He praised Himself and as He is.
Mwenye kutakabari na amejisalimisha kwake, na watu wa dunia wanamhimidi. Tunamsifu vile alivyojisifu na jinsi alivyo.
اَهْلُهُ وَ نَسْتَعِيْتُهُ وَ نَسْتَغْفِرُهُ وَ نَسْتَهْدِيْهِ وَ نَشْهَدُ آَنْ لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحَدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ
His family, and I seek his help, and we seek his forgiveness, and we seek his guidance, and we bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, without any partner.
Ahli zake, na mimi tunamuomba msaada, na tunamwomba msamaha, na tunataka uongofu wake, na tunashuhudia kwamba hapana mungu ila Mwenyezi Mungu, asiye na mshirika.
لَهُ يَعلَمُ مَا تُخْفِي النُفُوْسُ وَ مَا تُجِنُ الْبِحَارُ وَ مَا تَوَارُى مِنْهُ ظُلْمَةً وَ لَا تَغِيْبُ عَنْهُ
He knows what souls hide, what seas rage, and what darkness is hidden from Him, and it does not escape from Him.
Anayajua yanayofichwa na nafsi, na bahari zipi zinachafuka, na giza lililofichika Kwake, na halimkimbii.
غَائِبَةٌ وَ مَا تَسْقُطُ مِنْ وَرَقَةٍ مِنْ شَجَرَةٍ وَ لَا حَبَّةٍ فِيْ ظُلْمَةِ اِلَّا يَعْلَمُهَا لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا هُوَ،
It is absent and not a leaf falls from a tree nor a grain of darkness but He knows it. There is no god but Him.
Haipo na halidondoki jani kutoka kwenye mti wala chembe ya giza ila Yeye anajua. Hapana mungu ila Yeye.
وَ لَا رَظْبٍ وَ لَا يَابِسِ اِلَّا فِيْ كِتَابِ مُبِيْنٍ وَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يَعْمَلُ الْعَامِلُونَ وَ آَيَّ مَجْرى
Neither wet nor dry except in a clear Book, and He knows what the workers do and what its course is.
Si chenye maji wala kikavu ila katika Kitabu kinachobainisha, na anajua wanayoyafanya watendao kazi na njia yake ni ipi.
يَجْرُوْنَ وَ إِلَى آَيِّ مُنْقَلَبِ يَنْقَلِبُوْنَ وَ نَسْتَهْدِي اللهَ بِالْهُدْى وَ نَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ
They run and to whatever turning point they turn, and we seek guidance from God and bear witness that Muhammad is His servant.
Wanakimbia na kwenda kwenye sehemu yoyote ya kugeukia, na sisi tunatafuta uongofu kwa Mwenyezi Mungu na tunashuhudia kwamba Muhammad ni mja Wake.
وَ نَبِيُّهُ وَ رَسُوْلُهُ اِلَى خَلْقِهِ وَ آمِيْنُهُ عَلَى وَحَبِهِ وَ أَنَّهُ قَدْ بَلَّغَ رِسَالَاتٍ رَبِّهِ وَ جَاهَدَ
And His Prophet and Messenger to His creation, and His trustworthy one and His love, and that He conveyed the messages of His Lord and strove
Na Nabii wake na Mtume wake kwa viumbe vyake, na mwaminifu wake na mapenzi yake, na kwamba alifikisha ujumbe wa Mola wake Mlezi na akapigana Jihadi.
فِي اللّٰهِ
In God
Katika Mungu
الْحَائِدِيْنَ عَنْهُ الْعَادِلِيْنَ بِهِ وَ عَبَدَ اللهَ حَتَّى آَتَاهُ الْيَقِيْنُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ أُلِهِ وَ
Those who deviated from Him, those who were just with Him and worshiped God until certainty came to him. May God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family and
Wale waliokengeuka kutoka Kwake, wale waliokuwa waadilifu pamoja Naye na wakamuabudu Mwenyezi Mungu mpaka yakini ikamjia. Sala na amani za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake na familia yake
سَلَّمَ أُوْصِيْكُمْ بِتَقْوَى اللهِ الَّذِيْ لَا تَبْرَحُ مِنْهُ نِعْمَةٌ وَ لَا تَنْفَدُ مِنْهُ رَحْمَةٌ وَلَا
I enjoin upon you to fear God, from whom no blessing departs, and no mercy departs from.
Nakuusieni kumcha Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye hakuna baraka yoyote inayo ondoka kwake, na hakuna rehema itokayo kwake.
يَسْتَغْنِي الْعِبَادُ عَنْهُ وَ لَا يَجْزِيَ انْعُمَهُ الْأَعْمَالُ الَّذِيْ رَغَبَ فِيِ التَّقْوْى وَ زَهَدَ فِيْ
The servants do not need Him, and His grace does not reward the deeds of those who desire piety and abstain from it.
Waja hawamhitaji, na fadhila zake hazilipi amali za wenye kutaka uchamungu na kujiepusha nao.
الدُّنْيَا وَ حَذَّرَ الْمَعَاصِيَ وَ تَعَزَّزَ بِالْبَقَاءِ وَ ذَلّلَ خَلْقَهُ بِالْمَوْتِ وَ الْفَنَاءِ وَ الْمَوْتُ غَايَةُ
world, and warned against sins, and strengthened himself with survival, and humbled his creation with death and annihilation, and death is an end.
ulimwengu, na akaonya dhidi ya dhambi, na akajitia nguvu kwa kunusurika, na kudhalilisha uumbaji wake kwa kifo na maangamizi, na kifo ni mwisho.
الْمَخْلُوْقِيْنَ، وَ سَبِيْلُ الْعَالَمِيْنَ وَ مَعْقُوْدُ بِنَوَاصِي الْبَاقِيْنَ لَا يُفجِزُهُ اِبَاقُ الْهَارِبِيْنَ وَ
created beings, and the path of the worlds is tied to the corners of the rest, not blocked by the fugitives.
viumbe, na njia ya walimwengu imefungwa kwenye pembe za wengine, haijazuiliwa na wakimbizi.
عِنْدَ حَلُولِهِ يَأْسِرُ آَهْلَ الْهَوْى يَهْدِمُ كُلَّ لَذّةٍ وَ يُزِيْلُ كُلَّ نِعِمَةٍ وَ يَقْطَعُ كُلَّ بَهْجَةٍ وَ
When it arrives, it captures the people of desires, destroys every pleasure, takes away every blessing, cuts off every joy, and
Ikifika, huwateka watu wa matamanio, huharibu kila anasa, huondoa kila baraka, hukata kila furaha, na.
الدُّنْيَا دَارْ كَتَبَ اللَهُ لَهَا الْفَنَاءَ وَ لِاَهْلِهَا مِنْهَا الْجَلَآءَ فَاَكْثَرُهُمْ يَنُوِيْ بَقَاءَهَا وَ يُعَظِّمُ
The world is an abode, God has ordained for it annihilation and for its people to be expelled from it, so most of them intend for its survival and venerate it.
Dunia ni makazi, Mwenyezi Mungu ameiwekea maangamizo na watu wake watolewe humo, kwa hivyo wengi wao wanakusudia kuishi kwake na wanaiabudu.
بَنَآءَهَا وَ هِيَ حُلْوَةٌ خَضِرَةُ قَدْ عُجَّلَتْ لِلطَالِبِ وَ الْتَبَسَتْ بِقَلْبِ النَّاظِرِ وَ يُضيِيْ ذُوْ
Its construction, while it is beautiful and green, has pleased the seeker and dazzled the heart of the beholder, and its light shines.
Muundo wake, wakati ni mzuri na wa kijani kibichi, umemfurahisha mtafutaji na kuangaza moyo wa mtazamaji, na nuru yake inang'aa.
[تُضْنِي ذَا] التَّزْوَةِ الضَّعِيْفَ وَ يَجْتَوِيْهَا الْخَائِفُ الْوَجِلُ فَارْتَجِلُوا
[The weak one] is tempted by the tazwah, and the fearful and ignorant are tempted by it, so they improvised.
[Mnyonge] anajaribiwa kwa tazwah, na waoga na wajinga wanajaribiwa nayo, kwa hivyo wanajitengenezea.
مِنْهَا يَرْحَمُكُمُ اللهُ بِاَحْسَنِ مَا بِحَضْرَتِكُمْ وَ لَا تَطْلُبُوا مِنْهَا اَكْثَرَ مِنَ الْقَلِيْلِ وَ لَا
From it, may God have mercy on you, give the best of what you have seen, and do not ask from it for more than a little, nor
Kutokana na hayo, Mwenyezi Mungu akurehemuni, toeni kilicho bora zaidi ya mlicho kiona, wala msiombe kwake zaidi ya kidogo, wala
تَسْاَلُوْا مِنْهَا فَوْقَ الْكَفَافِ وَ ازْضَوْا مِنْهَا بِالْيَسِيْرِ وَ لَا تَمُدُّنَّ اَعْيُنَكُمْ مِنْهَا إِلَى مَا
Ask from it beyond what is sufficient, and abstain from it with a little, but do not direct your eyes from it beyond what
Omba kutoka kwake zaidi ya kile kinachotosha, na jiepusheni nacho kidogo, lakini usielekeze macho yako kutoka kwake zaidi ya kile.
مُثَعَ الْمُثْرَفُوْنَ بِهِ وَ اسْتَهِيْنُوْا بِهَا وَ لَا تُوَظِّنُوْهَا وَ اَضِرُّوْا بِاَنْفُسِكُمْ فِيْهَا وَ اِيَّاكُمْ وَ
disgrace those who gloat about it, and despise it, and do not trust it, and harm yourselves therein, and you and yourselves.
wahizi wanaoifurahia, na wanaidharau, na wala msiitegemee, na jidhuruni humo, na nyinyi na nafsi zenu.
التَّنَعُمَ وَ التَّلَهَيَ وَ الْفَاكِهَاتِ، فَإِنَّ فِيْ ذَلِكَ غَفْلَةً وَ اغْتِرَارًا أَلَا اِنَّ الدُّنْيَا قَدْ تَتَكَّرَثْ
Indulgence, distraction, and fruits, for that constitutes heedlessness and deceit. Indeed, the world may become a burden.
Anasa, ovyo, na matunda, kwa maana hiyo ni kutojali na udanganyifu. Kwa kweli, ulimwengu unaweza kuwa mzigo.
وَ اَدْبَرَثْ وَ اخْلَوْلَتْ وَ اَذَنَتْ بِوَدَاعِ اَلَا وَ إِنَّ الأَخِرَةَ قَدْ رَحَلَتْ فَاقْبَلَتْ وَ اشْرَفَتْ وَ
And she departed, and retired, and announced a farewell, except that the Hereafter had departed, and it had come, and was approaching, and
Akaondoka, akaondoka, na akatangaza kuaga, isipokuwa Akhera imekwisha pita, ikafika, ikakaribia.
أذَنَتْ بِاطَّلَاعِ اَلَا وَ إِنَّ الْمِضْمَارَ الْيَوْمَ وَ السَّبَاقَ غَدًا آَلَا وَ إِنَّ الشُّبْقَةَ الْجَنَّةُ وَ
She announced the arrival of the race today and the race tomorrow, and the beast is Paradise and
Alitangaza kuwasili kwa mbio leo na mbio kesho, na mnyama ni Pepo na
الْغَايَةَ النَّارُ اَلَا اَ فَلَا تَآئِبٌ مِنْ خَطِيّئَتِهِ قَبْلَ يَوْمِ مَنِيَّتِهِ اَلَا عَامِلٌ لِنَفْسِهِ قَبْلَ يَوْمِ
The ultimate goal is Hellfire. No one repents of his sin before the day of his death, except one who works for himself before the day of his death.
Lengo kuu ni Moto wa Jahannamu. Hakuna anayetubia dhambi yake kabla ya siku ya kufa kwake, isipokuwa anayefanya kazi kwa ajili ya nafsi yake kabla ya siku ya kufa kwake.
بُؤْسِهِ وَ فَقْرِهِ جَعَلَنَا اللهُ وَ اِيَّاكُمْ مِمَّنْ يَخَافُهُ وَ يَرْجُوْ ثَوَابَهُ آَلَا اِنَّ هَذَا الْيَوْمَ يَوْمٌ
His misery and poverty, may God make us and you among those who fear him and hope for his reward. Indeed, this day is a day
Shida na umasikini wake, Mungu atujaalie sisi na nyinyi kuwa miongoni mwa wanaomcha na kutaraji malipo yake. Hakika siku hii ni siku
جَعَلَهُ اللهُ لَكُمْ عِيْدًا وَ جَعَلَكُمْ لَهُ اَهْلًا فَاذْكُرُوَا اللهَ يَذْكُزْكُمْ وَ
May God make it a holiday for you and make you worthy of it. So remember God, and He will remind you.
Mungu akufanyie sikukuu na kukufanya ustahili. Basi mkumbukeni Mwenyezi Mungu, naye atakukumbusha.
اِدْعُوْهُ يَسْتَجِبُ لَكُمْ وَ آَدُوْا فِظْرَتَكُمْ فَانَّهَا سُنَّةُ نَبِيَّكُمْ وَ فَرِيْضَةٌ وَاجِبَةٌ مِنْ رَبَّكُمْ
Call upon Him, He will answer you, and fulfill your intention, for it is the Sunnah of your Prophet and an obligatory obligation from your Lord.
Muombeni, atakuitikieni, na atimize nia yenu, kwani hiyo ni Sunna ya Mtume wenu na ni faradhi kutoka kwa Mola wenu Mlezi.
فَلْيُوَّدّهَا كُلُّ امْرِي مِنْكُمْ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ وَ عَنْ عِيَالِهِ كُلَّهِمْ ذَكَرِهِمْ وَ أنْثَاهُمْ وَ صَغِيْرِهِمْ
Let each of you pay it for himself and for all of his family, male and female, and their youngest.
Kila mmoja wenu na alipe kwa ajili yake na kwa jamaa yake yote, mwanamume na mwanamke, na mdogo wao.
وَ كَبِيْرِهِمْ، وَحَرَّهِمْ وَ مَمْلُوْكِهِمْ عَنْ كُلِّ اِنْسَانٍ مِنْهُمْ صَاعًا مِنْ بُرَّ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ
And the eldest of them, and their freedmen, and their slaves, for every man among them is a saa’ of wheat or a saa’ of dates.
Na wakubwa wao, na walioachwa huru na watumwa wao, kwani kila mtu miongoni mwao ana saa’ ya ngano au saa’ ya tende.
آَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيْرٍ وَ اَطِيْعُوا اللٰهَ فِيْمَا فَرَضَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَ آَمَرَكُمْ بِهِ مِنْ اِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ
Or a Saa’ of barley, and obey God in what He has enjoined upon you and commanded you to do, such as establishing prayer.
Au Saa’ ya shayiri, na mtiini Mwenyezi Mungu katika yale Aliyokuamrisheni na kukuamrisheni, kama vile kushika Sala.
وَ اِيْتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ وَ حِجِّ البَيْتِ وَ صَوْمِ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَ الْاَمْرِ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ وَ النَّهِيِ عَنِ
And paying zakat, and performing Hajj to the House, and fasting the month of Ramadan, and enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong.
Na kutoa zaka, na kuhiji Nyumba, na kufunga mwezi wa Ramadhani, na kuamrisha mema na kukataza maovu.
الْمُنْكَرِ وَ الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَى نِسَآئِكُمْ وَ مَا مَلَكَثْ اَيْمَانُكُمْ وَ اَطِيْعُوا اللَهَ فِيْمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ
evil, and be kind to your women, and as long as your faith lasts, and obey God in what He has forbidden you.
muovu, na wafanyieni wema wanawake wenu, na maadamu imani yenu ni ya kudumu, na mtiini Mwenyezi Mungu katika yale Aliyokukatazeni.
مِنْ قَذْفِ الْمُحْصَنَةِ وَ اِثْيَانِ الْفَاحِشَةِ وَ شُرْبِ الْخَمْرِ وَ بَخْسِ الْمِكْيَالِ وَ نَقْصٍ
From slandering immoral people, immoral acts, drinking alcohol, going under a measure, and being deficient.
Kutokana na kukashifu watu waasherati, matendo machafu, kunywa pombe, kupita kiasi, na kupungukiwa.
الْمِيْزَانِ وَ شَهَادَةِ الزُّوْرِ وَ الْفِرَارِ مِنَ الزَّحْفِ عَصَمَنَا اللهُ وَ اِيَّاكُمْ بِالتَّقْوْى وَ جَعَلَ
Balance, false witness, and fleeing from creeping. May God protect us and you with piety and make
Usawa, shahidi wa uwongo, na kukimbia kutoka kwa wadudu. Mungu atulinde sisi na nyinyi kwa uchamungu na kufanya
الْأخِرَةَ خَيْرًا لَنَا وَ لَكُمْ مِنَ الْأُولَى اِنَّ آخْسَنَ الْحَدِيْثِ وَ ابْلَغَ مَوْعِظَةِ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ
The Hereafter is better for us and for you than the Hereafter. So speak well and convey the exhortation to the righteous.
Akhera ni bora kwetu na kwako kuliko Akhera. Basi sema vizuri na fikisha mawaidha kwa watu wema.
كِتَابُ اللهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيْمِ اَعُوْذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمْنِ
The Book of God, the Mighty, the Wise. I seek refuge in God from the accursed Satan. In the name of God, the Most Gracious.
Kitabu cha Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye hikima. Najikinga kwa Mwenyezi Mungu kutokana na Shetani aliyelaaniwa. Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema.
الرَّحِيْمِ قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ آَحَدُ اَللهُ الصَّمَدُ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَ لَمْ يُوْلَدْ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوَا آَحَدْ.
The Most Merciful. Say: He is God, One, God, the Eternal, He did not beget, nor was He begotten, and there is no one equal to Him.
Mwingi wa Rehema. Sema: Yeye ni Mungu, Mmoja, Mungu, wa Milele, hakuzaa, wala hakuzaliwa, na hakuna anayelingana Naye.

اَلْحَمْدُ للهُ نَخْمَدُهُ وَ نَسْتَعِيْنُهُ وَ نُؤْمِنُ بِهِ وَ نَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَيْهِ وَ نَشهَدُ اَنْ لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا اللهُ
Praise be to God. We worship Him, seek His help, believe in Him, rely on Him, and bear witness that there is no god but God.
Mungu asifiwe. Tunamuabudu, tunamtaka msaada, tunamwamini, tunamtegemea, na tunashuhudia kwamba hakuna mungu ila Mwenyezi Mungu.
وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ وَ آَنَّ مُحَمَدًا عَبْدُهُ وَ رَسُوْلُهُ صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ وَ سَلَامُهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ ألِهِ
He is alone, with no partner, and Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family.
Yuko peke yake, hana mshirika, na Muhammad ni mja na Mtume Wake, swala na salamu za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake na aali zake.
وَ مَغْفِرَتُهُ وَ رِضْوَانُهُ اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَ رَسُوْلِكَ وَ نَبِيِّكَ صَلْوةً نَامِيّةً
And his forgiveness and satisfaction. Oh God, bless Muhammad, your servant, your messenger, and your prophet, with a growing blessing.
Na msamaha wake na kuridhika. Ewe Mola mbariki Muhammad, mja wako, Mtume wako na Mtume wako na baraka zinazoongezeka.
زَاكِيّةً تَزْفَعُ بِهَا دَرَجَتَهُ وَ تُبَيِّنُ بِهَا فَضْلَهُ وَ صَلَّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ ألِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ بَارِك
Pure, by which his status will be raised and his virtue will be made clear, and bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad and bless
Safi, ambayo kwayo hadhi yake itanyanyuliwa na fadhila zake zitawekwa wazi, na mbariki Muhammad na Aali Muhammad na mbariki.
عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ وَ بَارَكْتَ وَ تَرَحْمْتَ عَلَى اِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَ ألِ
upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, just as You prayed, blessed, and had mercy upon Abraham and his family.
juu ya Muhammad na Aali Muhammad kama ulivyoswali, ukabariki, na ukamrehemu Ibrahim na Aali zake.
اِبْرَاهِيْمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَجِيْدٌ. اَللَّهُمَّ عَذَّبْ كَفَرَةَ آَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ الَّذِيْنَ يَصُدُّوْنَ عَنْ
Abraham, you are Praiseworthy and Glorious. Oh God, punish the infidels of the People of the Book who turn away from
Ibrahim, wewe ni Msifiwa na Mtukufu. Ewe Mola waadhibu makafiri wa Watu wa Kitabu wanaojiepusha
سَبِيْلِكَ وَ يَجْحَدُوْنَ أَيَاتِكَ وَ يُكَذَّبُوْنَ رُسُلَكَ اَللَّهُمَّ خَالِفْ بَيْنَ كَلِمَتِهِمْ وَ اَلْقِ الرُّغبَ
Your way, and they deny Your signs and deny Your messengers. Oh God, differ between their words and cast away desire.
Njia yako, na wanazikanusha Ishara zako na wanawakanusha Mitume wako. Ee Mungu, khitalifiana baina ya maneno yao na utupilie mbali matamanio.
فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ
In their hearts
Katika mioyo yao
وَ آَنْزِلْ عَلَيْهِمْ رِجِزَكَ وَ نِقْمَتَكَ وَ بَأْسَكَ الَّذِيْ لَا تَرُدُّهُ عَنِ الْقَوْمِ الْمُجْرِمِيْنَ اَللَّهُمَ
And send down upon them Your punishment, Your vengeance, and Your punishment, which You will not turn away from the criminal people, O God.
Na uwateremshie adhabu Yako, na kisasi Chako, na adhabu Yako, ambayo hutawaepusha na watu wakosefu, Ewe Mola Mlezi.
انْصُرْ جُيُوْشَ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ وَ سَرَايَاهُمْ وَ مُرَابِطِيْهِمْ فِي مَشَارِقِ الْأَرْضِ وَ مَغَارِبِهَا
Support the Muslim armies, their brigades, and their station in the east and west of the earth.
Wasaidie majeshi ya Waislamu, vikosi vyao, na kituo chao mashariki na magharibi mwa ardhi.
إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ وَ
You are capable of all things. O God, forgive the believing men, male and female Muslims, and
Wewe ni muweza wa mambo yote. Ewe Mola wasamehe Waumini wanaume, Waislamu wa kiume na wa kike, na
الْمُسْلِمَاتِ اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلِ التَّقْوْى زَادَهُمْ وَ الْاِيمَانَ وَ الْحِكْمَةَ فِي قُلُوْبِهِمْ وَ آَوْزِعْهُمْ
Muslims, O God, make piety their source, and faith and wisdom in their hearts, and grant them
Waislamu, Ewe Mwenyezi Mungu, wajaalie uchamungu ndio chanzo chao, na imani na hekima katika nyoyo zao, na uwajaalie
آَنْ يَشُكُرُوْا نِعْمَتَكَ الَتِيِّ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ، وَ آَنْ يُوْفُوْا بِعَهْدِكَ الَّذِيْ عَاهَدْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ اِلْهَ
That they should be grateful for Your blessings which You bestowed upon them, and that they should fulfill Your covenant which you made with God.
Ili washukuru neema zako ulizo waneemesha, na watimize agano lako ulilofanya na Mwenyezi Mungu.
الْحَقَّ وَ خَالِقَ الْخَلْقِ اَلِلَّهُمَ اغْفِرْ لِمَنْ تُوُفِّيَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ
The Truth and the Creator of creation. O God, forgive the believing men, male and female Muslims, who have died.
Ukweli na Muumba wa viumbe. Ewe Mola wasamehe Waumini wanaume, Waislamu wanaume na Waislamu wanawake walio kufa.
وَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَ لِمَنْ هُوَ لَا حِقُ بِهِمْ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ مِنْهُمْ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ اِنَّ اللَّهَ
And the Muslim women and those who have no right to them after them, among them. Indeed, You are the Mighty, the Wise. Indeed, Allah
Na wanawake wa Kiislamu na wale wasiokuwa na haki baada yao, miongoni mwao. Hakika Wewe ndiye Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye hikima. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu
يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَ الْإِحْسَانِ وَ اِيْتَآءِ ذِيْ الْقُرْبُى وَ يَنْهُى عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَ الْمُنْكَرِ وَ الْبَغَي
He enjoins justice, kindness, and giving to relatives, and forbids immorality, abomination, and transgression.
Anaamrisha uadilifu, wema, na kuwapa jamaa, na anakataza uchafu, uchafu na uadui.
يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكِّرُوْنَ اُذْكُرُوا اللهَ يَذْكُرْكُمْ فَاِنَّهُ ذَاكِرْ لِمَنْ ذَكَرَهُ وَ اساَلُوا اللٰهَ مِنْ
He exhorts you that you may remember. Remember God, and He will remember you, for He remembers whomever He remembers. And ask God of
Anawausieni ili mkumbuke. Mkumbukeni Mwenyezi Mungu, naye atakukumbukani, kwani humkumbuka anayemkumbuka. Na muombe Mungu
رَحْمَتِهِ وَ فَضْلِهِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَخِيْبُ عَلَيْهِ دَاعِ دَعَاهُ رَبَّنَآ أتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَ فِي
His mercy and grace, for He does not disappoint anyone who calls upon Him. Our Lord, give us good in this world and in
Rehema na neema yake, kwani hamkatishi tamaa yeyote anayemwita. Mola wetu Mlezi tupe mema katika dunia hii na ndani
الْأخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَ قِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
The Hereafter is good and protect us from the torment of the Fire
