MWEZI WA SAFAR Mwezi wa Safar unajulikana sana kwa kuleta bahati mbaya; na hakuna kinachoweza kuondoa bahati mbaya isipokuwa kutoa sadaka, dua kwa Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu, na dua za jadi za kutaka.

Al-Muhaddith al-Fayd and other scholars have mentioned that if you desire to be saved from the misfortunes and bad luck of the month of Safar, you may repeat the following supplicatory prayer ten times every day in this month:
Al-Muhaddith al-Fayd na wanachuoni wengine wametaja kwamba ikiwa unataka kuepushwa na balaa na bahati mbaya ya mwezi wa Safar, unaweza kurudia sala ya dua ifuatayo mara kumi kila siku katika mwezi huu:
يَا شَدِيْدَ الْقُوْى
O mighty of strength
Ewe hodari wa nguvu
وَ يَا شَدِيْدَ الْمِحَالِ
Oh, how difficult it is!
Na kwa kuwakataa maadui zako
يَا عَزِيْزُ يَا عَزِيْزُ يَا عَزِيْزُ
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear
Ah mpenzi, oh mpenzi, oh mpenzi
ذَلَّثْ بِعَظَمَتِكَ جَمِيْعُ خَلْقِكَ
Your greatness adorns all of your creation
Ukuu wako unapamba uumbaji wako wote
فَاكْفِنِي شَرَّ خَلْقِكَ
So protect me from the evil of your creation
Basi nilinde na shari ya kuumbwa kwako
يَا مُحْسِنُ يَا مُجْمِلَ
O benefactor, O benefactor
Ewe mfadhili, Ewe mfadhili
يَا مُنْعِمُ يَا مُفْضِلُ
O Giver of blessings, O Bestower of favours!
Ewe mtowaji wa neema, Ewe mtowaji wa fadhila!
يَا لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا آَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ
O there is no god but You, Glory be to You
Ewe hapana mungu ila Wewe, Umetakasika
إِنَّيّ كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَالِمِيْنَ
Indeed, I was one of the wrongdoers
Hakika mimi nilikuwa miongoni mwa madhalimu
فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَ نَجَيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ
So We responded to him and saved him from the grief.
