THE 30TH OF RAMADHAN For the last day of Ramadan, Sayyid Ibn Tawus has mentioned a supplicatory prayer that begins with:
TAREHE 30 RAMADHANI Kwa siku ya mwisho ya Ramadhani, Sayyid Ibn Tawus ametaja sala ya dua inayoanza na:

Oh God, You are the Most Merciful of the Merciful.
Ewe Mola, Wewe ni Mwingi wa kurehemu kuliko Mwenye kurehemu.

Oh God, expand my chest with the Qurโan,
Ewe Mola nikunulie kifua changu kwa Qur-aan.
ููุงุณูุชูุบูู
ููู ุจูุงููููุฑูุงูู ุจูุฏูููููุ
And benefit from my body with the Qurโan,
Na unufaike na mwili wangu kwa Qur-aan.
ูููููููุฑู ุจูุงููููุฑูุงูู ุจูุตูุฑูููุ
And enlighten my sight with the Qurโan,
Na nitie nuru macho yangu kwa Qur-aan.
ููุงุธูููู ุจูุงููููุฑูุงูู ููุณูุงูููุ
And cover my tongue with the Qurโan,
Na ufunike ulimi wangu kwa Qur-aan.
ููุงูุนููููู ุนููููููู ู
ูุง ุงูุจูููููุชููููู
And I mean for him as long as you keep me
Na ninamaanisha kwa ajili yake maadamu unaniweka
ููุงูููููู ููุง ุญููููู ููููุง ูููููุฉู ุงููููุง ุจููู.
For there is no power or strength except through You.
Kwani hakuna nguvu wala nguvu ila kwa kupitia Wewe.

Oh God, I ask you to hide the hidden ones,
Na unifungulie hazina za rehema zako.
ููุฅูุฎููุงุตู ุงููู

And the sincerity of those who are certain,
Na ikhlasi ya wenye yakini.

ูุฑูุงููููุฉู ุงูุงูุจูุฑูุงุฑูุ
And the company of the righteous,
Na kundi la watu wema.
ููุงุณูุชูุญููุงูู ุญูููุงุฆููู ุงููุงูููู
ูุงููุ
And deserving the facts of faith,
Na kustahiki ukweli wa imani,
ููุงููุบูููููู
ูุฉู ู
ููู ููููู ุจูุฑููุ
And the spoils of all righteousness,
Na ngawira za haki zote,
ููุงูุณููููุงู
ูุฉู ู
ููู ููููู ุงูุซูู
ูุ
And safety from all unrighteousness,
Na salama kutoka kwa udhalimu wote,
ููููุฌูููุจู ุฑูุญูู
ูุชูููุ
And the necessity of your mercy,
Na hitaji la rehema yako,
ููุนูุฒูุงุฆูู
ู ู
ูุบูููุฑูุชูููุ
And the words of your forgiveness,
Na maneno ya msamaha wako.
ููุงููููููุฒู ุจูุงููุฌููููุฉูุ
And winning Paradise,
Na kushinda Paradiso,
ููุงููููุฌูุงุฉู ู
ููู ุงูุซููุงุฑู.
And surviving the retaliation.
Na kunusurika na kisasi.
