(1) REMAINING AAMAL OF LAYLAT AL MAB'AS Third: In al-Balad al-Amin, al-Kaf'ami has instructed the following:

Instructions

Say the following supplicatory prayer on the Divine Mission Night:

اَللَّهُمَ إِنَّي اَسْالُكَ بِالتَّجَلِّي الْاَعظَمِ

Oh God, I ask you for the greatest manifestation

فِي هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ الْمُعَظَّمِ

On this night of the holy month

وَ المُرْسَلِ المُكَرَّمِ

And the honored messenger

اَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِهِ

To send blessings upon Muhammad and his family

وَ آَنْ تَغْفِرَ لَنَا مَا أَنْتَ بِهِ مِنَّا آَعْلَمُ

And if you forgive us, you know better than us.

يَا مَنْ يَعْلَمُ وَ لَا نَعْلَمُ

O He who knows and we do not know

اَللَّهُمَّ بَارِك لَنَا فِي لَيْلَتِنَا هَذِهِ

Oh God, bless us on this night.

الَّتِيْ بِشَرَفِ الرِّسَالَةِ فَضَّلْتَهَا

Which, in honor of the message, I preferred

وَ بِكَرَامَتِكَ اَجْلَلْتَهَا

And with your dignity you honored her

وَ بِالْمَحَلِّ الشَّرِيْفِ اَخْلَلْتَهَا

And in the honorable place I mixed it

اَللَّهُمَّ فَإِنَّا نَسْالُكَ بِالْمَبْعَثِ الشَّرِيْفِ

Oh God, we ask you for an honorable resurrection

وَ السَّيِّدِ اللّطِيْفِ

And Mr. Latif

وَ الْعُنْصُرِ الْعَفِيْفِ

And the chaste element

آَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ ألِهِ

To send blessings upon Muhammad and his family

وَ آَنْ تَجْعَلَ آَعْمَالَنَا فِي هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ

Glory be to God forever and ever and forever.

وَ فِي سَائِرِ اللَّيَالِي مَقْبُوْلَةً

It is acceptable on all nights

وَ ذُنُوْبَنَا مَغْفُوْرَةً

And our sins are forgiven

وَ حَسَنَاتِنَا مَشكُوْرَةً

And our good deeds are grateful

وَ سَيِّئَاتِنَا مَسْتُوْرَةً

And our bad deeds are hidden

وَ قُلُوْبَنَا بِحُسْنِ الْقَوْلِ مَسْرُوْرَةً

And our hearts are pleased with good speech.

وَ اَزْزَاقَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ بِالْيُسْرِ مَدْرُوْرَةً

And save us from You with ease, rounded and round.

اَللَّهُمَّ اِنَّكَ تَرَى وَ لَا تُرَى

Oh God, you see and do not see

وَ اَنْتَ بِالْمَنْظَرِ الْاَعْلَى

And you worshiped Him sincerely until certainty came to you.

وَ اِنَّ اِلَيْكَ الرُّجْعَى وَ الْمُنْتَهَىٰ

So I ask you to bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

وَ اِنَّ لَكَ الْمَمَاتَ وَ الْمَحْيَ

And indeed, death and erasure are yours

وَ اِنَّ لَكَ الْآخِرَةَ وَ الْأَوْلَى

And indeed, the Hereafter and the First are yours.

اَللَّهُمَّ اِنَّا نَعُوْذُ بِكَ اَنْ نَذِلَّ و نَخْزَى

Oh God, we seek refuge in You from being humiliated and disgraced.

وَ اَنْ نَأْتِيَ مَا عَنْهُ تَنْهَىٰ

And if we come to him, it is forbidden.

اَللّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْاَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ

Oh God, we ask you for Paradise with your mercy

وَ نَسْتَعِيْذَ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ

And we seek refuge in You from the Fire

فَاَعِذْنَا مِنْهَا بِقُذْرَتِكَ

So protect us from your filth

وَ نَسْاَلُكَ مِنَ الْحُوْرِ الْعِيْنِ

And we ask you from among the beautiful fair maidens

فَارْزُقْنَا بِعِزَّتِكَ

So bless us with Your glory

وَ اجْعَلَ اَوْسَعَ اَرْزَاقِنَا عِنْدَ كِبَرِ سِنَّنَا

And make our provision more expansive in our old age.

وَ اَحسَنَ اَعْمَالِنَا عِنْدَ اقْتِرَابِ آجَالِنَا

And the best of our deeds when our time approaches.

وَ اَطِلْ فِي طَاعَتِكَ

And prolong your obedience

وَ مَا يُقَرِّبُ اِلَيْكَ

And what brings you closer

وَ يُحْظِي عِنْدَكَ

And he will be happy with you

وَ يُزْلِفُ لَدَيْكَ اَعْمَارَنَا

And He makes our lives beautiful to You

وَ آَحِسِنْ فِي جَمِيْعِ اَحوَالِنَا وَ أُمُوْرِنَا مَعْرِفَتَنَا

And improve our knowledge in all our situations and affairs.

وَ لَا تَكِلْنَا إِلَى اَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ فَيَمُنَّ عَلَيْنَا

And do not entrust us to any of Your creation, lest he be gracious to us.

وَتَفَضَّلْ عَلَيْنَا بِجَمِيْعِ حَوَائِجِنَا لِلدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ

And bless us with all our needs in this world and the hereafter.

وَ ابْدَأُ بِآبَآئِنَا وَ أَبْنَآئِنَا

And I begin with our fathers and sons.

وَ جَمِيْعِ إِخْوَانِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ

And all our fellow believers

فِي جَمِيْعٍ مَا سَاَلْنَاكَ لاَنْفُسِنَا

In all that we have asked of you for ourselves

يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ

O most merciful of all those who show mercy!

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْاَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الْعَظِيْمِ،

Oh God, we ask you in your great name,

وَ مُلْكِكَ الْقَدِيْمِ

And your ancient kingdom

آَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِ مُحَمَّدٍ

To send blessings upon Muhammad and his family

وَ اَنْ تَغْفِرَ لَنَا الذَّنْبَ الْعَظِيمَ

And that you forgive us the great sin

اِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الْعَظِيمَ اِلَّا الْعَظِيْمُ

Only the great forgives the great.

اَللّهُمَّ وَ هَذَا رَجَبُ الْمُكَرَّمُ

Oh God, and this is the honorable Rajab.

الَّذِيْ اَكْرَمْتَنَا بِهِ اَوَّلُ اَشْهُرِ الْحُرُمِ

With which you honored us at the beginning of the sacred months.

اَكْرَمْتَنَا بِهِ مِنْ بَيْنِ الْأمَمِ

Through him you have honored us from among the nations

فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ يَا ذَا الْجُوْدِ وَ الْكَرَمِ

Praise be to You, O Possessor of generosity and generosity.

فَاسْاَلَكَ بِهِ وَ بِاسْمِكَ

So I ask you by it and in your name

الْاَعْظَمِ الْاَعْظَمِ الْاَعْظَمِ

The greatest, the greatest, the greatest

الْاَجَلَ الْاكْرَمِ

The most generous term

الَّذِيْ خَلَقْتَهُ فَاسْتَقَرَّ فِي ظِلَّكَ

whom you created, and he resides in your shade

فَلَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْكَ اِلَى غَيْرِكَ

It does not go out from you to anyone else

آَنْ تُصَلَّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَدٍ وَ اَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ

To bless Muhammad and his pure family

وَ آَنْ تَجْعَلَنَا مِنَ الْعَامِلِيْنَ فِيْهِ بِطَاعَتِكَ

And make us among those who work therein in obedience to You.

وَ الْامِلِيْنَ فِيهِ لِشَفَاعَتِكَ

And those who hope in it for your intercession

اَللّهُمَّ اهْدِنَا إِلَى سَوَاءِ السَّبِيْلِ

Oh God, guide us to the right path.

وَ اجْعَلَ مَقِيْلَنَا عِنْدَكَ خَيْرَ مَقِيْلٍ

And make our resting place with You the best resting place

فِي ظِلّ ظَلِيْل

In a shadow

وَ مُلْكِ جَزِيْلِ

And a great kingdom

فَاِنِّكَ حَسْبُنَا وَ نِعْمَ الْوَكِيْلَ

You are sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.

اَللَّهُمَّ اقْلِبْنَا مُفْلِحِيْنَ مُنْجِحِيْنَ

Oh God, make us prosperous and prosperous.

غَيْرَ مَغْضُوْبٍ عَلَيْنَا وَ لَا ضَالَيْنَ

Not angry with us, nor going astray

بِرَحمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ

By your mercy, O Most Merciful of the Merciful

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّي اساَلُكَ بِعَزَآئِمِ مَغْفِرَتِكَ

Oh God, I ask you for your forgiveness

وَ بِوَاجِبِ رَحْمَتِكَ

And due to your mercy

السَّلَامَةَ مِنْ كُلَّ اِثْمِ

Safety from all unrighteousness

وَ الْغَنِيْمَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ بِرِّ

And the spoils of all righteousness

وَ الْفَوْزَ بِالْجَنَّةِ

and attainment of Paradise,

وَ النَّجَاةَ مِنَ النَّارِ

and for salvation from the Fire,

اَللَّهُمَّ دَعَاكَ الدَّاعُوْنَ وَ دَعَوْتُكَ

Oh God, the supplicators called upon you and I called upon you

وَ سَاَلَكَ السَّآئِلَوْنَ وَ سَاَلْتُكَ

And the questioners asked you and I asked you

وَ طَلَبَ اِلَيْكَ الطَالِبُوْنَ وَ طَلَبْتُ اِلَيْكَ

And the seekers asked you, and I asked you

اَللَّهُمَّ اَنْتَ الثَّقَةُ وَ الرَّجَاءُ

Oh God, you are trust and hope

وَ اِلَيْكَ مُنْتَهَى الرَّغْبَةِ فِي الدُّعَاءِ

And to you is the utmost desire to pray.

اَللهُمَّ فَصَلّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ ألِهِ

O God, bless Muhammad and his family

وَ اجْعَلِ الْيَقِيْنَ فِي قَلْبِيْ

And put certainty in my heart

وَ النُّوْرَ فِيْ بَصَرِيْ

And the light is in my sight

وَ التَّصِيحَةَ فِي صَدْرِيْ

And the cry in my chest

وَ ذِكْرَكَ بِاللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ عَلَى لِسَانِي

And remember you day and night on my tongue

وَ رِزْقًا وَاسِعًا غَيْرَ مَمْنُوْنِ وَ لَا مَخْظُوْرٍ فَارْزُقْنِيْ

And abundant sustenance, neither hopeless nor to be denied, so grant me

وَ بَارِكْ لِيْ فِيْمَا رَزَقْتَنِيْ

Confused that I have no excuse or excuse

وَ اجْعَلْ غِنَايَ فِي نَفْسِيْ

And put my riches within me

وَ رَغْبَتِيْ فِيْهَا عِنْدَكَ

And you have my desire for it

بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ.

By your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

Instructions

You may then prostrate yourself and repeat the following

litany one hundred times:

اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِيْ هَدَانَا لِمَعْرِفَتِهِ

Praise be to God who guided us to know Him.

وَ خَصَّنَا بِوِلايَتِهِ

He designated us with his guardianship

وَ وَفَقَنَا لِطَاعَتِهِ

And we agreed to obey him

شُكْرًا شُكْرًا.

Thanks, thanks.

Instructions

When you raise your head (i.e. finish the prostration), you

may say the following:

اَللّهُمَّ إِنَّي قَصَدْتُكَ بِحَاجَتِيْ

Oh God, I sought you out of my need

وَ اعْتَمَدْتُ عَلَيْكَ بِمَسْاَلَتِيْ

And I relied on you with my question

وَ تَوَجَّهْتُ اِلَيْكَ بِاَئْمَتِي وَ سَادَتِيْ

And I turned to you with my servants and masters.

اَللّهُمَّ انْفَعْنَا بِحْبِّهِمْ

Oh God, benefit us from their love

وَ أَوْرِدْنَا مَوْرِدَهُمْ

And We brought them to their source

وَ ازْزُقْنَا مُرَافَقَتَهُمْ

We were blessed to accompany them

وَ اَدْخِلْنَا الْجَنَّةَ فِي زُمْرَتِهِمْ

And We admitted Paradise into their group.

بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ.

By your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
