PRAYERS & DU'AS OF NIGHT OF EID UL FITR Eighth: It is recommended to offer a two unit prayer reciting, in the first unit, Surah al-Faatehah once and repeating Surah al-Tawheed one thousand times and reciting, in the second
DUA NA DU'A ZA USIKU WA EID UL FITR Ya Nane: Inapendekezwa kuswali rakaa mbili kwa kusoma rakaa ya kwanza, Surah al-Faatehah mara moja na kurudia Sura ya Tawhiyd mara elfu moja na kusoma, katika ya pili.
Instructions
unit, Surah al-Faatehah once and Surah al-Tawheed once only. After accomplishment, it is recommended to prostrate and say the following:
Surah al-Faatehah mara moja na Surah al-Tawhiyd mara moja tu. Baada ya kukamilika, inashauriwa kusujudu na kusema yafuatayo:
أَتُوبُ اِلَى اللهِ
I repent to God

Instructions
After that, the following supplicatory prayer should be said:
Baada ya hayo, sala ifuatayo ya dua inapaswa kusemwa:
يَا ذَا الْمَنِّ وَ الْجُوْدِ
O Possessor of manna and generosity
Ewe Mwenye mana na ukarimu
يَا ذَا الْمَنَّ وَ الطَّوْلِ
O Possessor of manna and longevity
Ewe Mwenye mana na maisha marefu
يَا مُصْطَفِيَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ ألِهِ
O Chosen One Muhammad, may God bless him and his family
Ewe Mteule Muhammad, Mwenyezi Mungu ambariki yeye na aali zake
صَلَّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الهِ
Blessings be upon Muhammad and his family
Baraka ziwe juu ya Muhammad na Aali zake
Instructions
Then, one may pray for the granting of one's personal needs.

آَسآَلُكَ آَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ ألِ مُحَمَّدٍ
I ask you to bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
Ninakuomba umbariki Muhammad na familia ya Muhammad
وَ تَمُنَّ عَلَيَّ بِرِضَاكَ
And grant me your satisfaction
Na unipe kuridhika kwako
وَ تَغْفُوَ عَنِّيْ بِحِلْمِكَ
And forget me with your dream
Na unisahau na ndoto yako
وَتُوَسِّعَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ رِزْقِكَ الْحَلَالِ الطَّيّبِ
And expand upon me from Your lawful and good provision.
Na nikunjulie kutokana na riziki yako ya halali na nzuri.
وَ مِنْ حَيْثُ اَخْتَسِبُ، وَ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا اَختَسِبُ
And from where it is taken, and from where it is not taken.
Na kutoka ambapo imechukuliwa, na kutoka ambapo haijachukuliwa.
فَاِنِّيْ عَبْدُكَ لَيْسَ لِيّ اَحَدٌ سِوَاكَ
For I am your servant, and I have no one but you.
Kwa maana mimi ni mtumishi wako, wala sina mtu ila wewe.
وَ لَا آَحَدّ آَساَلَهُ غَيْرُكَ
And no one asked him except you
Na hakuna aliyemuuliza isipokuwa wewe
يَآ أَرحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
O Most Merciful of those who are merciful
Ewe Mwenye kurehemu kuliko wanao rehemu
مَا شَآَءَ اَللَهُ
God bless
Mungu awabariki
لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ
There is no power except in God, the Most High, the Great
Hakuna nguvu ila kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, Aliye juu, Mkuu
Instructions
One may then prostrate oneself and say the following:
Basi mtu anaweza kusujudu na kusema yafuatayo:
يَا اَلهُ لهُ يَاَ اَلله
Oh God, oh God
Ee Mungu, ee Mungu
يَا رَبِّ يَا رَبِّ يَا رَبِّ
O Lord, O Lord, O Lord,
Ee Bwana, Ee Bwana, Ee Bwana,
يَا مُنْزِلَ البَرَكَاتِ
And they rejected me and cut me off
Ewe mtumaji wa baraka
بِكَ تُنْزَلُ كُلِّ حَاجَةٍ
Through you every need is revealed
Kupitia wewe kila hitaji linafunuliwa
اَسْاَلُكَ بِكُلَّ اسمِ فِيْ مَخْزُوْنِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ
I ask You by every name in the unseen storehouse with You.
Ninakuomba kwa kila jina katika ghala ya ghaibu pamoja Nawe.
وَ الْاَسْمَاءِ الْمَشْهُوْرَاتِ عِنْدَكَ
And the names that are famous to you
Na majina ambayo ni maarufu kwako
الْمَكْتُوْبَةِ عَلَى سُرَادِقٍ عَرْشِكَ
written on the curtain of your throne
imeandikwa kwenye pazia la kiti chako cha enzi
آَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِ مُحَمَّدٍ
To send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
Kutuma baraka juu ya Muhammad na familia yake
وَ اَنْ تَقْبَلَ مِنَّي شَهْرَ رَمَضَانَ
And accept the month of Ramadan from me.
Na ukubali mwezi wa Ramadhani kutoka kwangu.
وَ تَكْتُبَنِي مِنَ الْوَافِدِيْنَ إِلَى بَيْتِكَ الْحَرَامِ
And you write me among those who come to your Sacred House.
Na uniandikie miongoni mwa wanaokuja kwenye Nyumba yako Takatifu.
وَ تَصْفَحَ لِيِ عَنِ الذُّنُوْبِ الْعِظَامِ
And forgive me my great sins
Na unisamehe madhambi yangu makubwa
وَ تَسْتَخْرِجَ لِيْ يَا رَبِّ كُنُوْزَكَ يَا رَخْمْنُ.
And extract for me, O Lord, your treasures, O Rakhman.
Na nitolee, Ee Mola, hazina zako, Ewe Rakhman.
