NAMAZ ON THE DAY OF GHADEER Fifth: It is recommended to offer a two unit prayer. It is also preferable to recite Surah al-Qadr at the first unit of the prayer and Surah al-Tawheed at the second (of course, after

Instructions

Surah al-Faatehah). After accomplishment, one should prostrate oneself and thank Almighty Allah one hundred times. Then, one should raise the head from the prostration and say the following:

اَللّهُمَّ إِنِّي آَسْاَلَكَ بِاَنَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدَ

Oh God, I ask you that praise be to you

وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَكَ

One and Only Lord, having no partner,

وَ أَنَّكَ وَاحِدٌ اَحَدٌ صَمَدٌ

And you are one, one, steadfast

لَمْ تَلِدْ وَ لَمْ تُوْلَدْ

She did not give birth and was not born

وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَكَ كُفُوَا اَحَدٌ

And there was no one equal to you

وَ آَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَ رَسُوْلَكَ

And Muhammad is Your servant and Messenger

صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَ اَلِهِ.

May your blessings be upon him and his family.

يَا مَنْ هُوَ كُلِّ يَوْمٍ فِي شَأْنٍ

O one who is in a matter every day

كَمَا كَانَ مِنْ شَأْنِكَ اَنْ تَفَضَّلْتَ عَلَيَّ

As it was your business to be kind to me

بِآنْ جَعَلْتَنِي مِنْ اَهْلِ اِجَابَتِكَ

Because you have made me among those who respond to you

وَ اهْل دِيْنِكَ

And your people

وَ اَهْلِ دَعْوَتِكَ

And the people of your calling

وَ وَفْقْتَنِي لِذْلِكَ فِيْ مُبْتَدَاِ خَلْقِيْ

And You enabled me to do this from the beginning of my creation.

تَفَضَّلَا مِنْكَ وَ كَرَمَا وَ جُوْدًا

You are so kind, generous, and generous

ثُمَّ اَرْدَفْتَ الْفَضْلَ فَضْلًا

Then she added the word “fadl” again

وَ الْجُوْدَ جُوْدًا

And generosity

وَ الْكَزْمَ كَرَمًا

Al-Kazam is a vineyard

رَأْفَةً مِنْكَ وَ رَحْمَةُ

Your compassion and mercy

إِلَى آَنْ جَدَّدْتَ ذَلِكَ الْعَهْدَ لِيْ تَجْدِيْدًا

Until you renew that covenant with me again

بَعَدَ تَجْدِيْدِكَ خَلْقِيْ

After your regeneration my creation

وَ كُنْتُ نَسْيًا مَنْسِيَّا

And I was forgotten, forgotten

نَاسِيًّا سَاهِيًا غَافِلَا

Forgetful, forgetful, and negligent

فَاَثْمَمْتَ نِعْمَتَكَ

So I took advantage of your blessing

بِاَنْ ذَكَّزْتَنِيْ ذَلِكَ

By reminding me of that

وَ مَنَنْتَ بِهِ عَلَيَّ

And you made me feel good about him

وَ هَدَيْتَنِيْ لَهَ

And you guided me to him

فَلْيَكُنْ مِنْ شَأْنِكَ

Be it your business

يَا اِلْهِيْ وَ سَيِّدِيْ وَ مَؤْلَايَ

Oh my God, my master, and my master

آَنْ تُتِمَ لِي ذلِكَ وَ لَا تَسْلُبنِيْهِ

You complete this for me and do not rob me of it.

حَثَّى تَتَوَفَانِي عَلَى ذَلِكَ

Please let me know about it

وَ آَنْتَ عَنِّيْ رَاضٍ

And you were satisfied with me

فَاِنَّكَ اَحَقُّ الْمُنْعِمِيْنَ

For you are the most deserving of blessings

آَنْ تُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَكَ عَلَيَّ.

May you complete your blessing upon me.

اَللّهُمَّ سَمِعْنَا وَ اَطَعْنَا

Oh God, we hear and obey

وَ اَجَبْنَا دَاعِيَكَ بِمَنِّكَ

And We answered your supplicant with your kindness

فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ

Praise be to you

غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا

Your forgiveness, our Lord

وَ اِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيْرُ

And to you is the final destination

أَمَنَّا بِاللهِ وَحدَةً

And you still have clear proof from your Lord

لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهً

He has no partner

وَ بِرَسُوْلِهِ مُحَمَّدٍ

If he leaves, it is not out of boredom

صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ

May God bless him and his family

وَ صَدَّقْنَا وَ آَجَبْنَا دَاعِيَ اللهِ

We believed and responded to God’s supplicant

وَ اتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُوْلَ فِيْ مُوَالَاةِ مَؤْلَانَا

And we followed the Messenger in being loyal to our destination.

وَ مَؤْلَى الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ

And the home of the believers

آَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Commander of the Faithful

عَلِيِّ بْنِ اَبِيْ طَالِبِ

'Ali the son of Abu-Talib,

عَبْدِ اللهِ وَ اَخِيْ رَسُوْلِهِ

Abdullah and brother of His Messenger

وَ الصِّدِّيْقِ الْاَكْبَرِ

And the greatest friend

وَ الْحُجَةِ عَلَى بَرِيَّتِهِ

And the proof is on his wilderness

الْمُؤَيِّدِ بِهِ نَبِيُّهً

The one who supports it is a Prophet

وَ دِينُهُ الْحَقَّ الْمُبِيْنَ

His religion is the clear truth

عَلَمًا لِدِيْنِ اللهِ

Knowledge of the religion of God

وَ خَازِنَا لِعِلمِهِ

And a treasurer of his knowledge

وَ عَيْبَةٍ غَيْبِ اللهِ

And the shame of the absence of God

وَ مَوْضِعٍ سِرِّ اللهِ

And the place of God's secret

وَ أَمِيْنَ اللهِ عَلَى خَلْقِهِ

And God is faithful to His creation

وَ شَاهِدَهُ فِيْ بَرِيَّتِهِ.

And he saw him in his wilderness.

اَللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا اِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا

Oh God, our Lord, we have heard a caller

يُنَادِيْ لِلْاِيْمَانِ أَنْ أَمِنُوْا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَامَنَا

He calls to faith: Believe in your Lord, and we will believe.

رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا

Our Lord, forgive us our sins

وَ كَفَّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا

And atone for us our evil deeds

وَ تَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْاَبْرَارِ

And We died with the righteous

رَبَّنَا وَ أَتِنَا مَا وَعَدْتَنَا عَلَى رُسُلِكَ

Our Lord, and give us what you promised us through your messengers.

وَ لَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

And do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection

اِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيْعَادَ.

Verily, You never fail to fulfill Your promise.

فَإِنَّا يَا رَبَّنَا بِمَنَّكَ وَ لُظفِكَ

O our Lord, we are grateful to you and your grace.

اَجَبْنَا دَاعِيَكَ

We answered your call

وَ اتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُوْلَ وَ صَدَّقْنَاهُ

We followed the Messenger and believed him

وَ صَدَّقْنَا مَوْلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

And we are truthful, Master of the believers

وَ كَفَرْنَا بِالْحِبْتِ وَ الطَّاغُوْتِ

And we disbelieved in love and tyranny.

فَوَلَّنَا مَا تَوَلَّيْنَا

So we took over what we took over

وَ اخشُّرْنَا مَعَ آَئِمَّتِنَا

And fear us with our imams

فَاِنَّا بِهِمْ مُؤْمِنُوْنَ مُؤْقِنُوْنَ

For in them we are certain believers.

وَ لَهُمْ مُسَلَّمُوْنَ

And to them are submission

أَمَنَّا بِسِرِّهِمْ وَ عَلَانِيَتِهِمْ

We believed in their secrets and their publicity

وَ شَاهِدِهِمْ وَ غَائِبِهِمْ

and their present and their absent.

وَ حَيِّهِمْ وَ مَيَّتِهِمْ

And their living and their dead

وَ رَضِيْنَا بِهمْ آَئِمَةً

And We were satisfied with them as leaders

وَ قَادَةً وَ سَادَةً

And leaders and masters

وَ حَسْبُنَا بِهِمْ

And we are sufficient for them

بَيْنَنَا وَ بَيْنَ اللهِ دُوْنَ خَلْقِهِ

Between us and God, not His creation

لَا نَبْتَغِيْ بِهِمْ بَدَلًا

We do not seek any substitute for them

وَ لَا نَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُوْنِهِمْ وَلِيْجَةُ

And we do not take a place other than them.

وَ بَرِئّنَا إِلَى اللهِ

And we are acquitted before God

مِنْ كُلِّ مَنْ نَصَبَ لَهُمْ حَرْبًا

From everyone who waged war against them

مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَ الْاِنْسِ

From the jinn and mankind

مِنَ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ وَ الْأخِرِيْنَ

From the first and the last

وَ كَفَزْنَا بِالْحِبْتِ وَ الطَّاغُوْتِ

And we were defeated by love and tyranny.

وَ الْاَوْثَانِ الْاَرْبَعَةِ

And the four idols

وَ اَشْيَاعِهِمْ وَ اَثْبَاعِهِمْ

And their followers and followers

وَ كُلِّ مَنْ وَالَاهُمْ

And everyone who supported them

مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَ الْاِنْسِ

From the jinn and mankind

مِنْ اَوَّلِ الدَّهْرِ إِلَى أَخِرِهِ

From the beginning of time until the end

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نُشهِدُكَ

Oh God, we bear witness to you

أَنَّا نَدِيْنُ بِمَا دَانَ بِهِ مُحَمَّدٌ وَ اَلَ مُحَمَّدٍ

We condemn what Muhammad and his family condemned.

صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَيْهِمْ

May God’s blessings and peace be upon him and them

وَ قَوْلُنَا مَا قَالُوا

And we said what they said

وَ دِيْنُنَا مَا دَانُوْا بِهِ

And Our religion is what they condemned

مَا قَالَوْا بِهِ قُلْنَا

Whatever they said, we said

وَ مَا دَانُوا بِهِ دِنَّا

And they did not come close to it

وَ مَا انْكَرُوْا اَنْكَرْنَا

And they did not deny, we denied

وَ مَنْ وَالَوْا وَالَيْنَا

And those who are loyal to us

وَ مَنْ عَادَوْا عَادَيْنَا

And those who are hostile to us are hostile to us

وَ مَنْ لَعَنُوْا لَعَنَّا

And whoever they curse, we curse

وَ مَنْ تَبَرَّءُوْا مِنْهُ تَبَرَّأنَا مِنْهُ

And whoever disowned him, we disavow him.

وَ مَنْ تَرَحِّمُوْا عَلَيْهِ تَرَحَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِ

And whomever you have mercy on, we will have mercy on him.

أَمَنَّا وَ سَلَّمْنَا

We believed and delivered

وَ رَضِيْنَا وَ اتَّبَعْنَا مَوَالِيَنَا

We were satisfied and followed our masters

صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِمْ.

May God’s blessings be upon them.

اَللَّهُمّ فَتَمَّمْ لَنَا ذَلِكَ وَ لَا تَسْلُبْنَاهُ

Oh God, complete this for us and do not rob us of it.

وَ اجْعَلْهُ مُسْتَقِرًّا ثَابِثًا عِنْدَنَا

And make him stable and steadfast with us.

وَ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ مُسْتَعَارًا

And all your dirt is rectangular

وَ اَخيِنَا مَا اَخيَيْتَنَا عَلَيْهِ

And our brother is what you tell us about him

وَ آَمِثْنَا إِذَآ اَمَتَنَا عَلَيْهِ

And he sinned against us when we blamed him

أَلْ مُحَمَّدٍ اَئِمَّثُنَا

The family of Muhammad is our leader

فَبِهِمْ نَأْتَمُ

We follow them

وَ اِيَّاهُمْ نُوَالِيْ

And they are my slaves

وَ عَدُوَّهُمْ عَدُوَّ اللٰهِ نُعَادِيْ

And their enemy is God's enemy. We are hostile to me

فَاجْعَلْنَا مَعَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ الْأَخِرَةِ

So make us with them in this world and the hereafter.

وَ مِنَ المُقَرَّبِيْنَ

And among those who are close

فَاِنَّا بِذلِكَ رَاضُوْنَ

We are satisfied with that

يَآ اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ.

O Most Merciful of the merciful.

One may then prostrate oneself again and repeat each of the

following doxological prayers one hundred times:

اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ

Thank God

شُكْرَ اللهِ

Thank God

According to a narration, to practice this act brings about the

Instructions

same reward of one who was present at that day and swore

Instructions

allegiance to the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) as regards the

Instructions

divinely commissioned leadership (wilayah) of Imam Ali

Instructions

(a.s.). Besides, it is preferable to offer this prayer at midday

Instructions

(zohr), which is the very time when the Holy Prophet

Instructions

(s.a.w.a.) declared the successorship and leadership of

Instructions

Imam Ali(a.s.) at Ghadir Khumm.

Instructions

Sixth: It is recommended to bathe oneself and offer a two

Instructions

unit prayer half an hour before midday (zohr). At each unit,

Instructions

one should recite Surah al-Faatehah once, Surah al-Tawheed

Instructions

ten times, Ayah al-Kursi ten times, and Surah al-Qadr ten

Instructions

times. The reward of practicing this act is equal, in the sight

Instructions

of Almighty Allah, to the rewards of one hundred thousand

Instructions

times of Hajj and one hundred thousand times of 'Umrah.

Almighty Allah will also grant all the worldly and religious

Instructions

needs of the performer with easiness and good health.

Instructions

It is however worth mentioning that Sayyid Ibn Tawus, in

Instructions

Iqbal al-A'mal, referring to this prayer, has preceded Surah al-

Instructions

Qadr to Ayah al-Kursi. Also, 'Allamah al-Majlisi, in Zad al-

Instructions

Ma'ad, mentioned that Surah al-Qadr should be preceded to

Instructions

Ayah al-Kursi. So have I done in my other books. But when l

Instructions

investigated the matter, I found out that the majority of

Instructions

scholars who have mentioned this prayer preceded Ayah al-

Instructions

Kursi to Surah al-Qadr. At any rate, there is probability that

Instructions

such confusion has occurred due to an error in writing by

Instructions

Sayyid Ibn Tawus himself or the copiers of the book, since

Instructions

Sayyid Ibn Tawus is too lofty to disagree with the consensus

Instructions

of the other scholars. Finally, Almighty Allah alone knows the

Instructions

most accurate form.

It is preferable to say the supplicatory prayer that begins with

Instructions

the following statement, after this prayer:

رَبَّنَآَ اِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا...

Our Lord, we have heard a caller...

Instructions

Seventh: It is recommended to say Dua al-Nudbah.

Instructions

Eighth: It is recommended to say the following supplicatory

Instructions

prayer, which is reported by Sayyid Ibn Tawus from Shaykh al-

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّيَّ اَساَلُكَ بِحَقُّ مُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيِّكَ

Oh God, I ask you by the right of Muhammad, your Prophet

وَ عَلِيٍّ وَلِيِّكَ

And Ali is your guardian

وَ الشَّأْنِ وَ الْقَدْرِ الَّذِيْ خَصَضْتَهُمَا بِهِ دُوْنَ خَلْقِكَ

And the status and destiny that You have bestowed upon them without your creation.

آَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلِيَّ

To send blessings upon Muhammad and Ali

وَ اَنْ تَبْدَاَ بِهِمَا فِيْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ عَاجِلِ

And to begin with them every good and immediate thing.

اَللَهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O God, bless Muhammad and his family

الائِمَّةِ الْقَادَةِ

The leading imams

وَ الدٌّعَاةِ السَّادَةِ

And the gentle preachers

وَ النُّجُوْمِ الزَّاهِرَةِ

And the bright stars

وَ الْاعْلَامِ الْبَاهِرَةِ

And the brilliant flags

وَ سَاسَةِ الْعِبَادِ

And the leaders of the people

وَ أَرْكَانِ الْبِلَادِ

And the corners of the country

وَ النَّاقَةِ الْمُرْسَلَةِ

And the sent camel

وَ السَّفِيْنَةِ النَّاحِيَةِ

And the ship

الْجَارِيَةِ فِيْ اللَّجَجِ الْغَامِرَةِ

Running through deep depths

اَللَهُمَّ صَلّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O God, bless Muhammad and his family

خُزَّانِ عِلْمِكَ

Repository of your knowledge

وَ أَرْكَانِ تَوْحِيْدِكَ

And the pillars of your monotheism

وَ دَعَائِمِ دِيْنِكَ

And the pillars of your religion

وَ مَعَادِنِ كَرَامَتِكَ

And the minerals of your dignity

وَ صَفْوَتِكَ مِنْ بَرِيَّتِكَ

And your elite from your wilderness

وَ خِيَرَتِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ

And your choice is from your creation

الاَتْقِيَاءِ الْانْقِيَاءِ

The pious, the pure

النُّجَبَاءِ الاَبْرَارِ

The righteous prophets

وَ الْبَابِ الْمُبْتَلِى بِهِ النَّاسُ

And the door that afflicts people

مَنْ اَتَاهُ نَجَا

Whoever comes to him will be saved

وَ مَنْ آَبَاهُ هَوْى،

And whose father is passion,

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَال مُحَمَدٍ

O God, bless Muhammad and his family

اَهْلِ الذِّكْرِ الَّذِيْنَ اَمَرْتَ بِمَسْاَلَتِهِمْ

The people of the message whom you were commanded to ask

وَ ذَوِيْ الْقُرْبَى الَّذِيْنَ اَمَرْتَ بِمَوَدَّتِهِمْ

And the relatives whom you were commanded to be affectionate with

وَ فَرَضْتَ حَقَّهُمْ

And you imposed their rights

وَ جَعَلْتَ الْجَنَّةَ مَعَادَ مَنِ اقْتَصَ اثَارَهُمْ

And You have made Paradise the abode of those who retaliate in their tracks.

اَللَهُمَّ صَلَّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O God, bless Muhammad and his family

كَمَا آَمَرُوْا بِطَاعَتِكَ

As they were commanded to obey you

وَ نَهَوْا عَنْ مَعْصِيَتِكَ

And they forbade you from disobeying you

وَ دَلَّوْا عِبَادَكَ عَلَى وَحْدَانِيَّتِكَ

And guide your servants to your oneness

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّيّ اساَلُكَ بِحَقَّ مُحَمَّدٍ

Oh God, I ask you by the right of Muhammad

نَبِيِّكَ وَ نَجِيْبِكَ

Your prophet and your answer

وَ صَفْوَتِكَ وَ اَمِيْنِكَ

And your best and your trustworthy

وَ رَسُوْلِكَ إِلَى خَلْقِكَ

And Your Messenger to Your creation

وَ بِحَقُّ آَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

By the right of the Commander of the Faithful

وَ يَغْسُوْبٍ الدِّيْنِ

And the debt is erased

وَ قَائِدِ الْغُرِّ الْمُحَجَّلِيْنَ

the leader of the white-forehead groups,

الْوَصِيِّ الوَفِيِّ

The loyal guardian

وَ الصِّدِّيْقِ الْاَكْبَرِ

And the greatest friend

وَ الْفَارُوْقِ بَيْنَ الْحَقِّ وَ الْبَاطِلِ

And the difference between truth and falsehood

وَ الشَّاهِدِ لَكَ

And the witness is yours

وَ الدَّآلّ عَلَيْكَ

And he guides you

وَ الصَّادِعِ بِامْرِكَ

And he who fulfills your command

وَ الْمُجَاهِدِ فِيْ سَبِيْلِكَ

And the one who strives in your cause

لَمْ تَأْخُذْهُ فِيْكَ لَوْمَةُ لَائِمِ

He did not take the blame of a critic towards you.

آَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَلِ مُحَمَّدٍ،

To send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad,

وَ آَنْ تَجْعَلَنِنْ فِيْ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ

And that you are appointed on this day

الَّذِيْ عَقَدْتَّ فِيْهِ لِوَلِيِّكَ الْعَهْدَ فِيْ آَعْنَاقِ خَلْقِكَ

وَ اَكْمَلْتَ لَهُمُ الدِّيْنَ

And You completed the religion for them

مِنَ الْعَارِفِيْنَ بِحُرْمَتِهِ

Of those who know its sanctity

وَ الْمُقِرِّيْنَ بِفَضْلِهِ

And those who acknowledge His grace

مِنْ عُتَقَآئِكَ وَ طُلَقَآئِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ

Of those who free you and those who free you from the fire

وَلَا تُشمِتَ بِيْ حَاسِدِيْ النَّعَمِ

And do not let those who envy blessings rejoice over me

اَللَّهُمَّ فَكَمَا جَعَلْتَهُ عِيْدَكَ الْاَكْبَرَ

Oh God, as you made it your greatest holiday

وَ سَمَّيْتَهُ فِيْ السَّمَاءِ يَوْمَ الْعَهْدِ الْمَعْهُوْدِ

And I named it in the heaven, “The Day of the Covenant.”

وَ فِي الْاَرْضِ يَوْمَ الْمِيْثَاقِ الْمَأْخُوْذِ وَ الْجَمْعِ الْمَسْثُوْلِ

And on earth on the day of the covenant, the taken and the plural, the summoned.

صَلَّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِ مُحَمَّدٍ

(please do) Bless Muhammad, the household of Muhammad,

وَ اَقْرِزْ بِهِ عُيُوْنَنَا

And delight our eyes thereby

وَ اجْمَعْ بِهِ شَمْلنَا

And unite us with him

وَ لَا تُضِلَّنَا بَعْدَ اِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا

And do not lead us astray after you have guided us

وَ اجْعَلْنَا لِانْعُمِكَ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِيْنَ

And make us among those who are thankful for Your blessings.

يَآ اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ

O Most Merciful of the merciful

اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَذِيْ عَرَّفَنَا فَضْلَ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ

Praise be to God who made us know the virtue of this day.

وَ بَضَّرَنَا حُرْمَتَهُ

And We were informed of its inviolability

وَ كَرَّمَنَا بِهِ

And He honored us with it

وَ شَرَّفْنَا بِمَعْرِفَتِهِ

We were honored to know him

وَ هَدَانَا بِنُوْرِهِ

And He guided us with His light

يَا رَسُوْلَ اللهِ

O Messenger of God

يَآ اَمِيْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ

O Commander of the Faithful

عَلَيْكُمَا وَ عَلَى عِثْرَتِكُمَا

upon you and upon your stumbling

وَ عَلَى مُجِبِيْكُمَا مِنَّيِّ اَفْضَلُ السَّلَامِ

And the best of peace be upon you who respond from me.

مَا بَقِيَ اللَّيْلُ وَ النَّهَارُ

As long as night and day remain

وَ بِكُمَا أَتَوَجَّهُ إِلَى اللهِ رَبَّيْ وَ رَبَّكُمَا

And with you I turn to God, my Lord and your Lord.

فِيْ نَجَاحِ طَلِبَتِيْ

The success of my application

وَ قَضَاءِ حَوَائِجِيْ

And meeting my needs

وَ تَيْسِيْرِ أُمُوْرِيّ

And facilitating my affairs

اَللَّهُمَ إِنَّيّ آَسَالُكَ بِحَقَّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ ألِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Oh God, I ask you for the sake of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

آَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِ مُحَمَّدٍ

To send blessings upon Muhammad and his family

وَ اَنْ تَلَعَنَ مَنْ جَحَدَ حَقَّ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ

And to curse whoever denies the rights of this day

وَ اَنْكَرَ حُرْمَتَهُ

And he denied its sanctity

فَصَدَّ عَنْ سَبِيْلِكَ لِإِظفَآءِ نُوْرِكَ

So turn away from your path to shine your light.

فَابَى اللهُ اِلَّا آَنْ يُتِمَّ نُوْرَهُ

So God refused except to perfect His light

اَللَهُمَّ فَرِّجْ عَنْ اَهْلِ بَيْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيِّكَ

Oh God, relieve the family of Muhammad, your Prophet

وَ اكْشِفْ عَنْهُمْ وَ بِهِمْ عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ الْكُرُبَاتِ

And remove from them and through them from the believers the distresses

اَللَّهُمَّ امْلَا الْاَرْضَ بِهمْ عَدْلًا

Oh God, fill the earth with justice

كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلْمًا وَ جَوْرًا

It was also filled with injustice and injustice

وَ انْجِزْ لَهُمْ مَا وَعَدْتَهُمْ

And fulfill to them what You promised them

اِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيْعَادَ.

Verily, You never fail to fulfill Your promise.

faith on this day by saying,

اَلْحَمْدُ للةِ الَّذِيْ جَعَلَنَا مِنَ الْمُتَمَسَّكِيْنَ

Praise be to God who made us among those who adhere to

بِوِلَايَةِ آَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ الْاَئِمَةِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ.

Under the authority of the Commander of the Faithful and the Imams, peace be upon them.

It is also recommended to say the following:

اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِيْ اَكْرَمَنَا بِهَذَا الْيَوْمِ

Praise be to God who honored us with this day.

وَ جَعَلَنَا مِنَ الْمُوْفِيْنَ بِعَهْدِهِ اِلَيْنَا

And He made us among those who are faithful to His covenant with us.

وَ مِيْتَاقِهِ الَذِيْ وَاثَقَنَا بِهِ

And His covenant in which we trusted

مِنْ ولَايَةٍ وُلَاةِ اَمْرِهِ

From the jurisdiction of his guardian

وَ الْقُوَّامِ بِقِسْطِهِ

And stability is based on justice

وَ لَمْ يَجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الْجَاحِدِيْنَ

And He did not make us among the deniers

وَ الْمُكَذَّبِيْنَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ.

And those who deny the Day of Judgment.

Tenth: It is recommended to repeat this doxology (zikr) one

اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَذِيْ جَعَلَ كَمَالَ دِيْنِهِ

Praise be to God who made his religion perfect

وَ تَمَامَ نِعْمَتِهِ

And His blessing was completed

بِوِلَايَةِ اَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ

Under the authority of the Commander of the Faithful

طَالِبِ عَليْهِ السَّلَامُ.
