LAST NIGHT OF RAMADHAN A number of rites are advisably practiced at this blessed night. They are as follows:
USIKU WA JANA WA RAMADHANI Ibada kadhaa zinapendekezwa kufanywa katika usiku huu uliobarikiwa. Wao ni kama ifuatavyo:
Instructions
First: It is recommended to bathe oneself at this night.
Kwanza: Inapendekezwa kuoga mwenyewe usiku huu.
Instructions
Second: It is recommended to visit the holy tomb of Imam al- Husayn (a.s.).
Pili: Inapendekezwa kuzuru kaburi tukufu la Imam al-Husayn (a.s.).
Instructions
Third: It is recommended to recite Surahs al-An'am (No. 6), al- Kahf (No. 18), and Yasin (No. 36). It is also recommended to repeat the following imploration one hundred times:
Tatu: Inapendekezwa kusoma Surahs al-An'am (No. 6), al- Kahf (No. 18), na Yasin (No. 36). Inapendekezwa pia kurudia maombi yafuatayo mara mia moja:
ุงูุณูุชูุบูููุฑู ุงูููู ููุงูุชูููุจู ุงููููููู.
Ask forgiveness from God and repent to Him.
Ombeni msamaha kwa Mwenyezi Mungu na tubu kwake.

Fourth: It is recommended to say the following supplicatory
Nne: Inapendekezwa kusema dua ifuatayo

prayer that is reported by al-Kulayni from Imam Ja'far al-
sala ambayo imepokewa na al-Kulayni kutoka kwa Imam Ja'far al-

Sadig(a.s.):
na kurudia Sura ya Tawhiyd mara kumi.

Oh God, this is the month of Ramadan in which You sent down the Qurโan and it has been completed.
Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, huu ni mwezi wa Ramadhani ambao ndani yake uliteremsha Qur-aan na ikakamilika.
ููุงูุนูููุฐู ุจูููุฌููููู ุงููููุฑูููู
ู ููุงุฑูุจูู
I seek refuge in Your gracious face, O Lord
Natafuta kimbilio kwa uso wako wa neema, ee Bwana
ุขููู ููุธููุนู ุงููููุฌูุฑู ู
ููู ููููููุชููู ููุฐููู
And of the best that You cover for anyone of Your creation,
Wakati kunapambazuka usiku huu
ุฃููู ููุชูุตูุฑููู
ู ุดูููุฑู ุฑูู
ูุถูุงูู
Or he spends the month of Ramadan
Au anautumia mwezi wa Ramadhani
ูููููู ููุจููููู ุชูุจูุนูุฉู ุงููู ุฐูููุจู ุชูุฑูููุฏู ุขููู ุชูุนูุฐููุจููููู ุจููู ููููู
ู ุงูููููุงูู.
And you have before me a consequence or a sin that you want to punish me with on the day I meet you.
Na una mbele yangu matokeo au dhambi unayotaka kuniadhibu nayo siku nitakapokutana nawe.

Fifth: It is recommended to say the previously mentioned

This is the month of Ramadan

You soften iron for David
Unamlainisha Daudi chuma

(Please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
Tafadhali shusha rehema na amani juu ya Muhammad na kizazi cha Muhammad,

And do such-and-such to me
Na unifanyie hivi na hivi

Sixth: It is recommended to bid farewell to the month of

Oh God, do not make it the last part of my fasting during the month of Ramadan.

ููุงูุนููุฐู ุจููู ุขููู ููุธูููุนู ููุฌูุฑู ููุฐููู ุงููููููููุฉู ุงููููุง ููููุฏู ุบูููุฒูุชู ููู.
I seek refuge in You that the dawn of this night does not come unless You have forgiven me.

Do not make it the last of our days of fasting.

So if you make it, then make me merciful and do not make me deprived.
Basi ukifanikiwa basi nifanyie rehema wala usinifanye ninyimizwe.

Verily, whoever says this supplicatory prayer will win one of
Hakika mwenye kuomba dua hii atashinda mojawapo

the two good things, either attaining the next Ramadan or
mambo mawili mazuri, ima kufikia Ramadhani ijayo au

having the forgiveness and mercy of Almighty Allah.

All glory be to Allah,

And praise be to God
Na sifa njema ni za Mungu

There is no god but Allah
Hapana mungu ila Mwenyezi Mungu

And God is great.
Na Mungu ni mkuu.

After that, one may prostrate and say the following:

O living, living, living,
Ewe uliye hai, uliye hai, uliye hai,

O glory and honor,
Ewe utukufu na heshima,

O you who are most proud of this world and the hereafter and their punishment,
Enyi mlio fahari zaidi ya dunia na Akhera na adhabu yao!

O Most Compassionate of the Merciful,
Ewe Mwingi wa rehema kuliko Mwenye kurehemu,
ููุงุงููููู ุงููุงูููููููููู ููุงููุฃูุฎูุฑููููุ
O God of the first and the last,
Ee Mungu wa mwanzo na wa mwisho,
ุงูุบูููุฑู ููููุง ุฐูููููุจูููุงุ
Forgive us our sins,
Utusamehe dhambi zetu,
ููุชูููุจููู ู
ููููุง ุตูููุงุชูููุง ููุตูููุงู
ูููุง ููููููุงู
ูููุง.
And accept our prayers, fasting and prayers.
Na ukubali maombi yetu, saumu na maombi yetu.
