Jamadu al thani amal

Sayyid Ibn Tawus has mentioned that, at any time in the month of Jumada al-Akhirah, it is recommended to offer a four-unit prayer, two units at a time. In the first unit, Surah al-Faatehah is recited once, Ayah al-Kursi once, and Surah al-Qadr twenty-five times. In the second unit, Surah al-Faatehah is recited once, Surah al-Takathur once, and Surah al-Tawheed twenty-five times. In the third unit, Surah al-Faatehah is recited once, Surah al-Kafirun once, and Surah al-Falaq twenty-five times. In the fourth unit, Surah al-Faatehah is recited once, Surah al-Nasr once, and Surah al-Nas twenty-five times. After completing the four units, it is recommended to repeat the following doxological prayer seventy times: "SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illa Allah, Allahu Akbar." The following invocation of blessings may be repeated seven times: "Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa Aal Muhammad." Then the following imploration is repeated three times: "Allahumma ighfir lil-mu'mineena wal-mu'minaat." Then, one should prostrate and repeat the following three times: "Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, Ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram, Ya Allah Ya Rahman Ya Rahim, Ya Arham ar-Rahimeen." After that, one may pray to Almighty Allah for granting one’s requests. Whoever performs this, he and his property, wife, sons, religion, and worldly affairs will be safeguarded until the next year. If he dies during that year, he will be rewarded as martyred.
