GENERAL AAMAL OF EACH MONTHS The general rites to be advisably done in each month are as follows:
DUA ABU HAMZAH AL THUMALI Nne: Katika Misbah al-Mutahajjid, imepokewa kutoka kwa Abu-Hamzah al-Thumali kwamba Imam Ali bin al-Husayn Zayn al'Abidin (a.s.) alikuwa akiswali Swalah

First: It is recommended to say the famous supplicatory prayers at the sight of the new moon. The most preferable of these is the 43rd supplication of al-Sahifah al-Sajjadiyyah.
Kwanza: Inapendekezwa kuswali Swalah maarufu za dua wakati wa kuandama kwa mwezi. Inayopendeza zaidi kati ya hizi ni dua ya 43 ya al-Sahifah al-Sajjadiyyah.

Second: It is recommended to recite Surah al-Faatehah seven times in order to escape eye ache.

Third: It is recommended to have some cheese, for it has been narrated that one who usually eats some cheese at the beginning of each month will have almost all his requests answered.

Kwa mujibu wa riwaya nyinginezo, swala ifuatayo ya dua, ambayo ni idadi ya aya za Qur'ani, inaweza kusemwa baada ya kukamilika kwa sala:
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمْنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
Kwa Jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu.
وَ مَا مِنْ دَآَبَّةٍ فِي الْاَرْضِ
And there is no living creature on earth
Na hakuna kiumbe hai duniani
اِلَا عَلَى اللهِ رِزْقُهَا
Except for God’s provision
Isipokuwa kwa riziki ya Mungu
وَ يَعْلَمُ مُسْتَقَرَّهَا وَ مُسْتَوْدَعَهَا
And He knows its resting place and its warehouse.
Na anaijua pahala pake pa kutulia na ghala yake.
كُلِّ فِي كِتَابٍ مُبِيْنِ
Everything is in a clear book
Kila kitu kimo katika kitabu kilicho wazi
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمْنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful
