My Master, my hope has become great, but my deeds are evil; so grant me from Your pardon according to the greatness of my hope, and do not take me to account for the worst of my deeds.
Ee Mola wangu, matumaini yangu yamekuwa makubwa, lakini matendo yangu ni mabaya; basi nipatie kutoka kwa msamaha Wako kwa kadiri ya matumaini yangu, wala usinihukumu kwa ubaya wa matendo yangu.
And I, O my Master, seek refuge in Your bounty, fleeing from You to You, holding fast to what You have promised of pardon for those who think well of You.
Na mimi, Ee Mola wangu, najilinda kwa fadhila Zako, nikikimbia kutoka Kwako hadi Kwako, nikishikilia yale Uliyoahidi kuhusu msamaha kwa wanaokudhania vyema.
And grant us the pilgrimage to Your sacred House, and the visitation of the grave of Your Prophet — may Your blessings, mercy, forgiveness, and satisfaction be upon him and his family,
Na utujalie Hija ya Nyumba Yako Tukufu, na ziara ya kaburi la Nabii Wako — rehema Zako, baraka Zako, msamaha Wako na radhi Zako ziwe juu yake na watu wa nyumbani kwake,
And suffice me in what concerns me regarding the matters of my world and my hereafter, and do not give power over me to one who will not have mercy on me.
Na unitosheleze katika mambo yanayonitia wasiwasi kuhusu dunia yangu na Akhera yangu, na usimpe mamlaka juu yangu yule ambaye hatanihurumia.
O Allah, whenever I say, ‘I have prepared myself and made ready and I stand for prayer before You and converse with You,’ You cast upon me drowsiness when I pray, and You take away from me the sweetness of communion when I converse with You.
Ee Mungu, kila ninaposema, ‘Nimejiandaa na kusimama kwa sala mbele Yako na kuzungumza Nawe,’ Unanitia usingizi ninaposali, na unaniondolea ladha ya mazungumzo Ninapokuomba.
What is the matter with me that whenever I say, ‘My inner self has become upright, and the gathering place of the repentant has come near to me,’ a trial befalls me which removes my footing and comes between me and Your service?
Kuna nini nami kwamba kila ninaposema, ‘Nafsi yangu imekuwa sawa, na sehemu ya wenye kutubu imenikaribia,’ jaribu hunipata ambalo huniondoa imara na hunizuia kuhudumia Wewe?
My Master! Perhaps You have driven me away from Your door, or distanced me from Your service, or perhaps You have seen me belittling Your right and so You have cast me away.
Ee Mola wangu! Huenda Umenifukuza kutoka mlangoni Kwako, au Umeniondoa katika huduma Yako, au pengine Umeniweka mbali kwa sababu Umeniona nikidharau haki Yako.
Or perhaps You have seen me ungrateful for Your blessings, so You have deprived me; or perhaps You have not found me in the assemblies of the scholars, so You have abandoned me.
Au pengine Umeniona nisiye shukuru kwa neema Zako, basi Ukaninyima; au hukuniona katika mikutano ya wanazuoni, hivyo Ukaniacha.
Or perhaps You have seen me among the heedless, and thus You have made me despair of Your mercy; or perhaps You have seen me frequenting the gatherings of the idle, so You have left me among them.
Au huenda Umeniona miongoni mwa wasiojali, hivyo Ukanikata tamaa na rehema Yako; au Umeniona nikifurahia vikao vya wazembe, hivyo Ukaniacha pamoja nao.
Or perhaps You did not love to hear my supplication, so You have distanced me; or perhaps You have recompensed me for my crime and my offense; or perhaps You have punished me for my lack of shame before You.
Au pengine Hukupenda kusikia dua yangu, hivyo Umeniepusha; au Umenilipa kwa kosa na makosa yangu; au Umeniadhibu kwa kukosa haya mbele Yako.
But if You forgive me, O my Lord, then indeed You have long forgiven sinners before me, for Your generosity, O Lord, is too great to be measured by the deeds of the deficient.
Lakini ukinisamehe, Ee Mola wangu, kwa hakika umewasamehe wenye dhambi wengi kabla yangu, kwani ukarimu Wako, Ee Mola, ni mkubwa mno kuliko kulipiza kwa matendo duni.
My God, You are more abundant in grace and greater in forbearance than to measure me by my deeds or to bring me down because of my sin. And what am I, my Master, and what is my worth?
Ewe Mola wangu, Wewe una fadhila nyingi na uvumilivu mkubwa kuliko kunipima kwa matendo yangu au kunishusha kwa sababu ya dhambi zangu. Na mimi ni nani, Ewe Bwana wangu, na thamani yangu ni nini?
Grant me by Your grace, my Master, bestow Your pardon upon me, cover me with Your protection, and spare me the humiliation of reproach through the generosity of Your noble face.
Nipe kwa fadhila Zako, Ewe Bwana wangu, niepushie kwa msamaha Wako, nivae kwa ufuniko Wako, na uniondolee lawama kwa ukarimu wa uso Wako mtukufu.
I am the fearful one You have made secure, the hungry one You have fed, the thirsty one You have quenched, the naked one You have clothed, the poor one You have enriched.
Mimi ni mwenye hofu uliyempa amani, mwenye njaa uliyemlisha, mwenye kiu uliyemnywesha, aliye uchi uliyemvisha, maskini uliyemtajirisha.
I am the weak one You have strengthened, the humiliated one You have honored, the sick one You have healed, the beggar You have given to, the sinner You have concealed.
Mimi ni dhaifu uliyempa nguvu, mnyenyekevu uliyemtukuza, mgonjwa uliyemponya, mwombaji uliyempa, mwenye dhambi uliyemfunika.
I am, O Lord, the one who did not feel shame before You in private, nor show respect for You in public. I am the one guilty of great calamities, the one who dared to defy his Master.
Mimi, Ee Mola wangu, ndiye ambaye sikukuogopa faraghani, wala sikukuheshimu hadharani. Mimi ndiye mwenye madhambi makubwa, niliyejaribu kumpinga Bwana wangu.
I am the one who disobeyed the Mighty of the heavens. I am the one who accepted bribes to commit sins against the Glorious One. I am the one who, when tempted, eagerly rushed toward disobedience.
Mimi ndiye niliyekiuka amri za Mwenye Nguvu wa mbinguni. Mimi ndiye niliyepokea hongo kufanya madhambi dhidi ya Mtukufu. Mimi ndiye ambaye nilipojaribiwa, nilikimbilia dhambini.
I am the one You gave time to, yet I did not take heed. You covered my faults, yet I felt no shame. I persisted in sin and transgression, and though I fell from Your sight, I did not care. By Your forbearance You granted me time, and by Your concealment You veiled me, until it was as if You had overlooked me.
Mimi ndiye uliyempa muda lakini sikutubu. Ulinifunika makosa lakini sikuhisi aibu. Niliendelea kutenda dhambi na kuvuka mipaka, na ingawa nilitoka katika neema Yako, sikujali. Kwa uvumilivu Wako ulinipa muda, na kwa ufuniko Wako ulinificha, kana kwamba umenisahau.
My God, when I disobeyed You, it was not that I denied Your Lordship, nor that I took Your command lightly, nor that I dared Your punishment, nor that I belittled Your warning.
Ee Mola wangu, nilipokukosea, haikuwa kwamba nilikataa Uungu Wako, wala nilichukulia amri Yako kwa wepesi, wala nilithubutu adhabu Yako, wala nilidharau onyo Lako.
Rather, a sin presented itself to me, my soul enticed me, my desire overpowered me, my misfortune supported it, and Your covering that You had spread over me deceived me.
So I disobeyed You and opposed You with all my strength. Now who will rescue me from Your punishment? And who will deliver me tomorrow from the hands of my adversaries?
Hivyo nilikukosea na nikakupinga kwa nguvu zangu zote. Sasa ni nani atanikomboa kutoka adhabu Yako? Na ni nani atakayeniokoa kesho mikononi mwa wapinzani wangu?
If it were not for what I hope from Your generosity and the vastness of Your mercy, and for Your prohibition against despair, I would despair when I remember them.
Kama si matumaini yangu katika ukarimu Wako na upana wa rehema Zako, na katazo Lako juu ya kukata tamaa, ningekata tamaa ninapoyakumbuka hayo.
And through my love for the unlettered Prophet — the Qurayshi, the Hashimi, the Arab, the Tihami, the Makkan, and the Madinan — I seek closeness to You.
Na kwa upendo wangu kwa Nabii asiyejua kusoma wala kuandika — Mqurayshi, Mhashimi, Mwarabu, Mtehami, Mmakka na Mmadina — natamani ukaribu Nawe.
For some people believed with their tongues to protect their blood and they attained what they desired; but we have believed in You with our tongues and our hearts so that You may pardon us.
Kwa sababu baadhi ya watu waliamini kwa ndimi zao ili kulinda maisha yao, nao wakapata walichotaka; lakini sisi tumeamini Kwako kwa ndimi na mioyo yetu ili Utusamehe.
So let us attain what we have hoped for, and make firm Your hope within our hearts. Do not cause our hearts to deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself — indeed, You are the Bestower.
Tufanikishe yale tuliyotarajia, na uthibitishe tumaini lako ndani ya mioyo yetu. Usipotoshe mioyo yetu baada ya kutuongoza, na utupe rehema kutoka Kwako, hakika Wewe ndiye Mtoaji Bora.
By Your might! Even if You were to drive me away, I would not leave Your door, nor cease flattering You, for my heart has been inspired with knowledge of Your generosity and the vastness of Your mercy.
Kwa utukufu Wako! Hata kama Ungenifukuza, nisingeondoka mlangoni Pako, wala nisingeacha kukusihi, kwa sababu moyo wangu umejazwa maarifa ya ukarimu Wako na upana wa rehema Yako.
My God, even if You were to bind me in chains, prevent Your bounty from reaching me before witnesses, expose my shame before the eyes of Your servants, command that I be sent to the Fire, and separate me from the righteous — I would still not cut off my hope in You, nor turn away my expectation of Your pardon, nor would Your love depart from my heart.
Mola wangu, hata kama Ungenifunga kwa minyororo, Ukazuia neema Zako mbele ya mashahidi, ukaonyesha aibu zangu mbele ya macho ya waja Wako, ukaamuru niondolewe motoni, na Ukanitenganisha na wacha Mungu — bado sitakata tamaa kutoka Kwako, wala sitapoteza tumaini la msamaha Wako, wala mapenzi Yako hayatatoka moyoni mwangu.
My Master, remove the love of this world from my heart, and unite me with al-Mustafa and his family — Your chosen ones among creation and the seal of the prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).
Ewe Mola wangu, toa mapenzi ya dunia hii kutoka moyoni mwangu, na unionanishe na al-Mustafa na Ahlul-Bayt wake — wateule Wako miongoni mwa viumbe na mwisho wa Manabii, Muhammad (rehma na amani zimshukie yeye na kizazi chake).
And transfer me to the station of repentance toward You, and assist me in weeping over myself, for I have wasted my life in procrastination and vain hopes.
Na nielekeze kwenye daraja la toba Kwako, na unisaidie nilie kwa ajili ya nafsi yangu, kwani nimepoteza maisha yangu kwa kuchelewesha toba na matumaini yasiyo na maana.
And I have descended to the state of those who despair of good; who could be in a worse state than I if I am carried to my grave in this condition, unprepared for my rest, and having not spread it with righteous deeds for my repose?
Nimefikia hali ya waliokata tamaa ya kheri; ni nani atakayekuwa na hali mbaya zaidi yangu ikiwa nitapelekwa kaburini katika hali hii, bila maandalizi ya pumziko langu, wala bila kutandaza kaburi langu kwa matendo mema kwa ajili ya usingizi wangu?
Why should I not weep, when I do not know what my end will be? I see my soul deceiving me, my days betraying me, and the wings of death fluttering near my head.
Kwa nini nisiwe nalie, wakati sijui hatima yangu itakuwa nini? Naiona nafsi yangu ikinidanganya, siku zangu zikinisaliti, na mabawa ya mauti yakipigapiga karibu na kichwa changu.
I look once to my right and again to my left, while all creation is absorbed in a concern other than mine — every person that Day will have a matter sufficient for them.
Natazama mara upande wa kulia na mara upande wa kushoto, huku viumbe wote wakiwa na mambo yao mengine — kila mtu siku hiyo atakuwa na jambo linalomshughulisha yeye mwenyewe.
— that compassion and mercy which You have made incumbent upon Yourself. The command belongs to You alone; You have no partner. All creation are Your dependents and within Your grasp.
— huruma na rehema ambazo Wewe Mwenyewe umejiwajibisha. Amri ni Yako peke Yako; huna mshirika. Viumbe vyote ni wategemezi Wako na wako ndani ya mkono Wako.
So O Great Hope of mine, do not disappoint me when my poverty becomes severe, do not turn me away because of my ignorance, and do not withhold from me because of my little patience,
Basi Ewe Tumaini langu kuu, usiniangushe wakati umaskini wangu utakapozidi, usinirejeshe kwa ujinga wangu, wala usininyime kwa sababu ya uvumilivu wangu mdogo,
اَعْطِنِيْ لِفَقْرِيْ وَارْحَمْنِيْ لِضَعْفِيْ،
Give me because of my poverty, and have mercy on me because of my weakness,
Nipe kwa ajili ya umaskini wangu, na nihurumie kwa ajili ya udhaifu wangu,
Under the shade of Your pardon is my standing; toward Your generosity and kindness I raise my gaze, and upon Your goodness I keep my eyes fixed,
Chini ya kivuli cha msamaha Wako ndiko ninaposimama; kuelekea ukarimu Wako na wema Wako ninaelekeza macho yangu, na katika wema Wako ninadumu kuangalia,
O my God, if You forgive, who is more worthy of forgiveness than You? And if You punish, who is more just than You in judgment?
Ee Mola wangu, ikiwa Utasamehe, ni nani zaidi anayestahili msamaha kuliko Wewe? Na ikiwa Utatesa, ni nani zaidi aliye mwenye haki katika hukumu kuliko Wewe?
And whose grace shall I hope for if I lack Your grace on the day of my need? And to whom shall I flee from sins when my time ends?
Na rehema ya nani nitaiyategemea ikiwa nitapoteza rehema Yako siku ya haja yangu? Na nitakimbilia wapi dhuluma za dhambi zangu wakati muda wangu utakapokoma?
Indeed, the abundance of my sins leaves me hoping only for Your pardon. O my Master, I ask of You what I do not deserve, for You are the One worthy of piety and forgiveness.
Hakika, wingi wa dhambi zangu unanifanya nategemea tu msamaha Wako. Ewe Mola wangu, naomba kwako kile ambacho sijastahili, kwani Wewe ndiye Mwenye Taqwa na msamaha.
O my God, You are the One who bestows Your bounty even on those who do not ask and on the deniers of Your lordship. So how about, my Master, those who ask You and are certain that all creation and all affairs belong to You? Blessed and Exalted are You, O Lord of the worlds.
Ewe Mungu wangu, Wewe ndiye anayetoa neema Yako hata kwa wale wasiouliza na kwa wakiikataa utawala Wako. Basi je, Mola wangu, kwa wale wanaokuomba na wanao hakika kuwa uumbaji wote na mambo yote ni Yako? Ubarikiwe na Uliye Mtukufu, Ewe Mola wa viumbe wote.
O my Master, Your servant stands at Your door in need, knocking at the door of Your grace with his supplication, so do not turn Your noble face away from me.
Ewe Mola wangu, mtumishi Wako amesimama mbele ya mlango Wako akiwa na haja, akipiga mlango wa ukarimu Wako kwa dua yake, basi usigeuze Uso Wako wa heshima kwangu.
O my God, You are the One whom no petitioner can exhaust, and from whom no seeker is denied; You are as You say and beyond what we can express.
Ewe Mungu wangu, Wewe ndiye ambaye hakuna muomba anaweza Kukuchosha, na hakuna mtu anayekutafuta anayeweza Kukosewa; Wewe ni vile unavyosema na zaidi ya yale tunayoweza kusema.
O Best of those who are asked, and most generous of those who give, grant me my request for myself, my family, my parents, my children, my dependents, and my brothers in You.
Ewe Mzuri zaidi wa waliyo ulizwa, na mwenye ukarimu zaidi wa waliyo toa, nifadhilie ombi langu kwa ajili yangu, familia yangu, wazazi wangu, watoto wangu, wategemezi wangu, na ndugu zangu katika Wewe.
Include me among those whose lives You have prolonged, whose deeds You have beautified, upon whom You have completed Your blessings, with whom You are pleased, and whom You grant a good and lasting life full of joy.
Nijumlishe miongoni mwa wale ambao maisha yao umeyarahisisha, matendo yao umeuboresha, umekamalisha neema zako juu yao, ambao umefurahia, na waliopewa maisha mema na ya furaha ya kudumu.
O Allah, make me especially Yours through the remembrance of You, and do not let any of my acts of devotion at night or during the day be for show, reputation, evil, or arrogance; make me among the humble before You.
Ewe Allah, nifanye kuwa wako hasa kupitia kumbukumbu Yako, na usiruhusu chochote kati ya ibada zangu usiku au mchana ziwe kwa kujionyesha, jina, uovu, au kiburi; nifanye miongoni mwa wanyenyekevu mbele Yako.
O Allah, grant me abundance in provision, safety in my homeland, delight in family, wealth and children, establish me in Your blessings, and grant health in my body.
Ewe Allah, nithamini kwa wingi wa riziki, usalama katika nchi yangu, furaha katika familia, mali na watoto, nithamini katika neema zako, na nipatie afya mwilini mwangu.
And strength in my body, safety in my religion, and make me devoted to Your obedience and the obedience of Your Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) forever, as long as You allow me to live.
Na nguvu mwilini mwangu, usalama katika dini yangu, na nifanye kuwa mtii wa amri zako na wa amri za Mtume wako Muhammad (amani iwe juu yake na familia yake) milele, mradi tu Wewe umeruhusu niwe hai.
And make me among Your most blessed servants, partaking of every good that You have sent down and will send down in Ramadan, particularly on the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr).
Nifanye miongoni mwa watumishi Wako walio na baraka nyingi, wakishiriki mema yote ambayo Umetuma na utatuma mwezi wa Ramadan, hasa katika Usiku wa Qadr.
Place under my feet anyone who intends evil against me from among all Your creation, and protect me from the evil of Satan, the tyrant, and my own evil deeds.
Weka chini ya miguu yangu yeyote anayenipanga mabaya kati ya viumbe vyote, na nikinge na uovu wa Shetani, mtawala mbaya, na maovu ya matendo yangu mwenyewe.
Marry me to the pure Houris by Your grace, and unite me with Your righteous friends, Muhammad and his pure, noble, and virtuous family; blessings and mercy of Allah be upon them and their bodies and souls.
Nifunge ndoa na warembo wa peponi kwa neema Yako, na unganisha nami na wapenzi Wako wa haki, Muhammad na familia yake safi, wema na wenye utu; baraka na rehema za Allah ziwe juu yao, miili yao na roho zao.
My God, my Master, by Your might and majesty, if my sins hold me accountable, I will plead for Your forgiveness; if my own wickedness holds me, I will plead for Your generosity; and if You admit me into the Fire, I will tell its inhabitants of my love for You.
Ewe Mungu wangu, Mola wangu, kwa nguvu na ukuu Wako, ikiwa dhambi zangu zitanihukumu, nitaomba msamaha Wako; ikiwa uovu wangu utanikabili, nitaomba ukarimu Wako; na ikiwa unaniingiza Moto, nitaeleza wake wa Moto juu ya upendo wangu Kwako.
My God and Master, if You forgive only Your friends and those obedient to You, to whom will the sinners turn? And if You honor only the faithful, from whom will the wrongdoers seek aid?
Ewe Mungu wangu na Mola wangu, ikiwa unawasamehe tu marafiki Wako na watekelezaji wa amri Zako, basi dhambi zitaelekea wapi? Na ikiwa unawaheshimu tu watiifu, basi wahalifu wataomba msaada wapi?
My God, if You admit me to the Fire, that will be the joy of Your enemy, but if You admit me to Paradise, that will be the joy of Your Prophet; and I swear, the joy of Your Prophet is dearer to You than the joy of Your enemy.
Ewe Mungu wangu, ikiwa unaniingiza Moto, hiyo itakuwa furaha ya adui Wako, lakini ikiwa unaniingiza Peponi, hiyo itakuwa furaha ya Mtume Wako; na kwa Allah, furaha ya Mtume Wako ni ya thamani zaidi Kwako kuliko furaha ya adui Wako.
O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, make me love meeting You, and let meeting me be beloved, and grant me ease, relief, and honor in meeting You.
Ewe Mwenye Utukufu na Heshima, nifanye nipende kukutana na Wewe, na fanya kukutana nami kupendeke, na nifanyie urahisi, faraja, na heshima katika kukutana na Wewe.
Assist me in controlling myself as You assist the righteous to control themselves, and seal my deeds with the best of deeds, and make my reward from it Paradise by Your mercy.
Nisaidie kudhibiti nafsi yangu kama unavyowasaidia wema kudhibiti nafsi zao, na funga matendo yangu kwa mema zaidi, na fanya thawabu yangu kutokana nayo kuwa Peponi kwa rehema Zako.
Help me to be righteous with what You have given me, and make me steadfast, O Lord, and do not let me fall into evil from which You have rescued me, O Lord of the worlds.
Nisaidie kuwa mwema kwa kile Umenipa, na nithibitishe, Ewe Bwana, na usinirudishe katika uovu ambao Umenikomboa kutoka kwake, Ewe Mola wa viumbe vyote.
O Allah, I ask You for a faith that has no end except in meeting You; keep me alive with it as long as You keep me alive, and take me in death with it as You take me in death, and raise me on it as You raise me.
Ewe Allah, naomba imani isiyo na mwisho isipokuwa kukutana na Wewe; nihuishie nayo kadri utakavyoniisha, na niondoke kwa kifo nayo kadri utakavyoniingiza kifo, na uninyanyue nayo kadri utakavyoninyanyua.
So that my deeds are purely for You. O Allah, grant me insight in Your religion, understanding in Your judgment, knowledge in Your science, twofold of Your mercy, piety that restrains me from Your sins, illuminate my face with Your light, make my desires for what is with You, and let me die in Your path, following the way of Your Messenger, peace be upon him and his family.
Ili matendo yangu yawe safi kwa ajili Yako. Ewe Allah, nibariki na ufahamu katika dini Yako, uelewa katika hukumu Zako, maarifa katika elimu Yako, mara mbili ya rehema Zako, hila inayonizuia kufanya dhambi zako, angazia uso wangu kwa nuru Yako, fanya tamaa yangu iwe ile iliyo Kwako, na ninyime kifo katika Njia Yako, nikifuata njia ya Mtume Wako, amani iwe juu yake na familia yake.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, failure, anxiety, cowardice, stinginess, negligence, hardness of heart, miserliness, poverty, destitution, all calamities, and all indecencies, both apparent and hidden.
Ewe Allah, naomba kimbilio Kwako kutokana na uvivu, kushindwa, wasiwasi, woga, ujinga, ujinga, ugumu wa moyo, umasikini, umasikini mkubwa, na maafa yote, pamoja na maovu yote yaliyo dhahiri na yaliyo fiche.
And I seek refuge in You from a soul that is never satisfied, a stomach that is never full, a heart that does not humble itself, prayers that are unheard, and deeds that do not benefit.
Na naomba kimbilio Kwako kutokana na nafsi isiyokidhiwa, tumbo lisilojaa, moyo usiokuwa na unyenyekevu, dua zisizosikika, na matendo yasiyo na faida.
And I seek refuge in You, O Lord, over myself, my religion, my wealth, and all that You have provided me, from the accursed Satan. Indeed, You are the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
Na naomba kimbilio Kwako, Ewe Mola, juu yangu, dini yangu, mali yangu, na yote uliyoniwazia, dhidi ya Shetani aliyelaaniwa. Hakika Wewe ndiwe Sikivu na Mjuzi.
O Allah, indeed none can protect me from You, and I find no refuge except with You. So do not place me in anything of Your punishment, nor return me to destruction or a painful torment.
Ewe Allah, hakika hakuna anayeweza kunilinda Kutoka Kwako, na sipati kimbilio isipokuwa Kwako. Basi usinirudishe katika adhabu Yako, wala usinirudishe katika uharibifu au adhabu yenye maumivu.
O Allah, accept from me, make my mention lofty, lift my rank, remove my burden, do not remind me of my sin, and make the reward of my gatherings, my speech, and my supplications Your pleasure and Paradise.
Ewe Allah, pokea kutoka kwangu, nainuke hadhi yangu, ondoa mzigo wangu, usinishughulishe kwa dhambi zangu, na fanya thawabu ya mikutano yangu, mazungumzo yangu, na dua zangu kuwa kuridhika Kwako na Peponi.
O Allah, You revealed in Your Book that we should pardon those who wronged us, yet we have wronged ourselves; so forgive us, for indeed You are more deserving of this than us.
Ewe Allah, Umefunua katika Kitabu Chako kwamba tuwafanyie wema wale waliotuonea, na tulijidhalilisha; basi utusamehe, kwani hakika Wewe una haki zaidi ya hili kuliko sisi.
And You commanded us to be good to those whom our hands possess; we are Your weak servants, so free our necks from the Fire. O my refuge in distress, and my help in hardship.
Na Umetuamuru kufanya wema kwa walio chini ya mamlaka yetu; sisi ni watumwa Wako dhaifu, basi utusamehe na kutusafisha na Moto. Ewe kimbilio langu wakati wa taabu, na msaada wangu katika shida.
To You I flee, by You I seek help and refuge. I do not seek refuge with anyone else, nor do I ask for relief except from You. So relieve me and free me, O You who releases the captive and forgives abundantly. Accept from me the little I offer and pardon me for the much, for indeed You are the Most Merciful, the Most Forgiving.
Kwako natoroka, nawe nitafuta msaada na kimbilio. Sihitaji kimbilio kwa mwingine yeyote, wala siombi faraja isipokuwa Kwako. Basi niepushe na unifungue, Ewe Unaefungua mateka na kusamehe kwa wingi. Kubali kidogo ninachotoa na nisamehe kwa mengi, kwani hakika Wewe ni Mwenye Rehema, Msamehezi.
O Allah, I ask You for faith that my heart may experience and for true certainty, until I know that nothing will befall me except what You have decreed for me, and make me content with the portion of life You have allotted me, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
Ewe Allah, naomba imani ambayo moyo wangu utaipata na uhakika wa kweli, hadi nijue kuwa hakuna kinachonitokea isipokuwa kile Ulichoniandika kwangu, na nifanye niridhike na kipande cha maisha Ulichonipa, Ewe Mwenye Rehema Zaidi ya Wote Wenye Rehema.
