(J)AAMAL OF THE DAY OF MAB'AS (27TH DAY) This day is one of the great feast days. On this day, the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) was appointed for conveying the Divine Mission when Archangel Gabriel first came to him with the

Divine Revelation. Several rites are advisably practiced on this day. Some of them are as follows:
Ufunuo wa Kimungu. Ibada kadhaa zinapendekezwa kufanywa siku hii. Baadhi yao ni kama ifuatavyo:

First: It is recommended to bathe oneselt on this day.
Kwanza: Inashauriwa kuoga mmoja siku hii.
Instructions
Second: It is recommended to observe fasting. In tact, this day is one of the four days that are dedicated to fasting in the whole year. The reward of observing fasting on this day is equal to seventy year fasting.
Pili: Inapendekezwa kushika saumu. Kwa busara, siku hii ni moja ya siku nne ambazo zimetengwa kwa kufunga mwaka mzima. Malipo ya kufunga siku hii ni sawa na kufunga miaka sabini.

Third: It is recommended to repeat very frequently the invocation of blessings upon Prophet Muhammad and his Household.

Fourth: It is recommended to visit the tombs of the Holy Prophet and Imam Ali, peace be upon them and their Household.

And Glory be to God
Na ametakasika Mwenyezi Mungu
وَ الْحَمْدُ للّهَّ
And praise be to God
Na sifa njema ni za Mungu
وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَا بِاللهِ الْعَلِيّ الْعَظِيمِ.
There is no power nor strength except in God, the Most High, the Great.
Hakuna nguvu wala nguvu ila kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, Aliye juu, Mkuu.
Instructions
Then, it is recommended to repeat the following four times:
Kisha, inashauriwa kurudia zifuatazo mara nne:
اَللهُ اَللهُ رَبِّي لَا أُشرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا.
God is God, my Lord, I do not associate anything with Him.
Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mungu, Mola wangu, simshirikishi na chochote.

Then, it is recommended to say the following four times, too:
Kisha, inashauriwa kusema mara nne zifuatazo, pia:
لَا أَشْرِكُ بِرَبِّي آَحَدًا.
I do not associate anyone with my Lord.
Mimi simshirikishi Mola wangu yeyote.

وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيْكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ
and has no partner in His dominion
Wala hana mshirika katika ufalme Wake,
وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِيّ مِنَ الذَّلَّ
And he had no guardian against humiliation
Na hakuwa na mlinzi dhidi ya unyonge
وَ كَبِّزْهُ تَكْبِيْرًا
And he shouted “Allahu Akbar.”
Na akapiga kelele “Allahu Akbar.”
يَا عُدَّتِيْ فِي مُدَّتِيْ
O my number in my time
O nambari yangu kwa wakati wangu
يَا صَاحِبِيْ فِي شِدَّتِيْ
Oh my friend, in my distress
Rafiki yangu, katika shida yangu
يَا وَلِيِّيْ فِي نِعْمَتِيْ
O my guardian, in my blessing
Ewe mlinzi wangu, katika baraka yangu
يَا غِيَاثِيْ فِي رَغْبَتِيْ
O my relief in my desire
Ewe unafuu wangu katika hamu yangu
يَا نَجَاحِيْ فِي حَاجَتِيْ
Oh my success in my need
Oh mafanikio yangu katika haja yangu
يَا حَافِظِيْ فِي غَيْبَتِيْ
O my protector during my absence
Ewe mlinzi wangu wakati wa kutokuwepo kwangu
يَا كَافِيَّ فِي وَحْدَتِيْ
O enough in my loneliness
O kutosha katika upweke wangu
يَا أُنْسِي فِي وَحْشَتِيْ
Oh, I forget in my loneliness
Oh, mimi kusahau katika upweke wangu
اَنْتَ السَّاتِرُ عَوْرَتِيْ
You are the one who covers my private parts
Wewe ndiye unayefunika sehemu zangu za siri
فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ
Praise be to you
Sifa ziwe kwako
وَ أَنْتَ الْمُقِيْلَ عَثْرَتِيْ
And you are the one who prevents me from stumbling
Na wewe ndiye unayenizuia nisijikwae
فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ
Praise be to you
Sifa ziwe kwako
وَ أَنْتَ الْمُنْعِشُ صَرْعَتِيْ
And you are my refreshment
Na wewe ni kiburudisho changu
فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ
Praise be to you
Sifa ziwe kwako
صَلَّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِ مُحَمَّدٍ
Send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
Mletee rehma Muhammad na Aali Muhammad.
وَ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَتِي
And cover my private parts
Na kufunika sehemu zangu za siri
وَ امِنْ رَوْعَتِي
And believe in my magnificence
Na uamini ukuu wangu
وَ اَقِلْنِي عَثْرَتِيْ
And remove my stumble
Na kuondoa makwazo yangu
وَ اضفَحَ عَنْ جُرْمِيْ
And forgive my crime
Na unisamehe kosa langu
وَ تَجَاوَزْ عَنْ سَيِّئَاتِيْ
And ignore my bad deeds
Na kupuuza matendo yangu mabaya
فِي اَصحَابِ الجَنَّةِ
In the companions of Paradise
Katika watu wa Peponi
وَعَدَ الصِّدْقِ الَّذِيْ كَانُوا يُوْعَدُوْنَ-
The promise of truth that they were promised -
Ahadi ya kweli waliyo ahidiwa.

When you accomplish the prayer, you should recite Surahs al-

You should then say the following seven times:

God, God, my Lord, I do not associate anything with Him.

Seventh: As is mentioned in lqbal al-A'mal and some

يَا مَنْ آَمَرَ بِالْعَفْوِ وَ التَجَاوَزِ
O He who commands forgiveness and transgression!
Ewe mwenye kuamrisha msamaha na uadui!
وَ ضَمَّنَ نَفْسَهُ الْعَفْوَ وَ التَجَاوُزَ
He guaranteed himself forgiveness and transgression.
Alijihakikishia msamaha na uasi.
يَا مَنْ عَفَا وَ تَجَاوَزَ
O He who pardons and transgresses
Ewe Mwenye kusamehe na kuasi
اغْفُ عَنِّيْ وَ تَجَاوَزْ يَا كَرِيْمُ
Forgive me and pass by, O Generous One
Ee Mungu, tunakuomba kwa jina lako kuu,
اَللَّهُمَّ وَ قَدْ اَكْدَى الطَّلَبُ
Oh God, grant the request
Ee Mungu, tupe ombi
وَ اَغْيَتِ الْحِيْلَةُ وَ الْمَذْهَبُ
And the trick and the doctrine were lost.
Na hila na fundisho vilipotea.
وَ دَرَسَتِ الْأمَالُ
And I studied the hopes
Na nilisoma matumaini
وَ انْقَطَعَ الرَّجَاءُ اِلَّا مِثْكَ
And hope has ceased until then
Na matumaini yamekoma mpaka wakati huo
وَحَدَكَ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَكَ
You are alone, you have no partner
Uko peke yako, huna mshirika
اَللَّهُمّ إِنَّي اَجِدُ سُبْلَ الْمَطَالِبِ اِلَيْكَ مُشرَعَةً
Oh God, I find the paths of supplications to You open.
Ee Mungu, naona njia za maombi kwako zimefunguliwa.
وَ مَنَاهِلَ الرَّجَآءِ لَدَيْكَ مُثْرَعَةً
And the springs of hope are abundant with you
Na chemchemi za matumaini zimejaa kwako
وَ أاَبْوَابَ الدُّعَاءِ لِمَنْ دَعَاكَ مُفَتَّحَةً
And the doors of supplication for those who call upon you are opened.
Na inafunguliwa milango ya kuwaombea dua wale wanaokuomba.
وَ الْاِسْتِعَانَةَ لِمَنِ اسْتَعَانَ بِكَ مُبَاحَةً
Seeking help from someone who seeks your help is permissible.
Kutafuta msaada kutoka kwa mtu ambaye anatafuta msaada wako inaruhusiwa.
وَ اَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ لِدَاعِيْكَ بِمَوْضِعِ اِجَابَةٍ
And I know that there is an answer to your supplicant.
Na najua kuwa kuna jibu kwa mwombaji wako.
وَ لِلصَّارِخِ اِليْكَ بِمَرْصَدِ اِغَاثَةٍ
And to the one crying out to you for help
Sisi hatukuziteremsha wala hatukuzificha
وَ آَنَّ فِي اللَّهْفِ إِلَى جُوْدِكَ وَ الضَّمَانِ بِعِدَتِكَ
The greatest, the greatest, the greatest
Na alikuwa akitamani ukarimu wako na uhakika wa ahadi yako.
عِوَضًا مِنْ مَنْعِ الْبَاخِلِيْنَ.
Instead of preventing stingy people.
Badala ya kuzuia watu wabahili.
وَ مَنَدُوْحَةً عَمَّا فِي آَيْدِي الْمُسْتَأْثِرِيْنَ
And disapproving of what is in the hands of those who are influenced
Na kughairi yaliyomo mikononi mwa wenye kusukumwa
وَ اَنَّكَ لَا تَخْتَجِبُ عَنْ خَلْقِكَ
And you do not hide from your creation.
Wala nyinyi hamjifichi kwa kuumbwa kwenu.
اِلَّا اَنْ تَحْجِبَهُمُ الْأَعْمَالُ دُوْنَكَ
Unless their deeds eclipse them without you.
Isipokuwa matendo yao yatawafunika bila nyinyi.
وَ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ آَنَّ اَفْضَلَ زَادِ الرَّاحِلِ اِلَيْكَ
And I know that the best Zad has departed to you
Na ninajua kuwa Zad bora zaidi amekujia
عَزْمُ اِرَادَةٍ يَخْتَارُكَ بِهَا
The determination of his will with which he chooses you
Uamuzi wa mapenzi yake ambayo anakuchagua wewe
وَ قَدْ نَاجَاكَ بِعَزْمِ الإِرَادَةِ قَلْبِيْ
And my heart has spoken to you with determination
Na moyo wangu umezungumza na wewe kwa dhamira
وَ اَسْاَلُكَ بِكُلَّ دَعْوَةٍ دَعَاكَ بِهَا رَاجٍ بَلَغْتَهُ آَمَلَهُ
And I ask you with every supplication with which a person of hope has supplicated you, in the language of his hope.
Na mimi nakuomba kwa kila dua ambayo mtu mwenye matumaini amekuomba kwa lugha ya matumaini yake.
أَوْ صَارِخٌ إِلَيْكَ اَغَثْتَ صَرْخَتَهُ
Or someone crying out to you whose cry you have helped?
Au mtu anayekulilia ambaye umemsaidia kilio chake?
اَوْ مَلْهُوْفٌ مَكْرُوْبٌ فَرَّجْتَ كَرْبَهُ
Or an anxious and distressed person whose distress you relieved
Au mtu mwenye wasiwasi na dhiki ambaye dhiki yake uliondoa
أَوْ مُذْنِبُ خَاطِئٌ غَفَرْتَ لَهُ
Or a sinner whom you have forgiven
Au mwenye dhambi ambaye umemsamehe
اَوْ مُعَافَّى اَثْمَمْتَ نِعْمَتَكَ عَلَيْهِ
Or one who is well, have you committed your blessing upon him?
Au mwenye afya njema umeweka baraka zako juu yake?
أَوْ فَقِيْرٌ اَهْدَيْتَ غِنَاكَ اِلَيْهِ
Or a poor person to whom you gave your riches?
Au maskini uliyempa utajiri wako?
وَ لِتِلْكَ الدَّعْوَةِ عَلَيْكَ حَقٌّ وَ عِنْدَكَ مَنْزِلَةٌ
And that call has a right upon you, and you have a status.
Na wito huo una haki juu yako, na una hadhi.
اِلَّا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
May your blessings be upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
Baraka zako ziwe juu ya Muhammad na familia ya Muhammad
وَ قَضَيْتَ حَوَائِجِيْ حَوَائِجَ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْأَخِرَةِ
And you fulfilled my needs, the needs of this world and the hereafter.
Na ulinitimizia haja zangu, mahitaji ya dunia na akhera.
وَ هَذَا رَجَبْ المُرَجَبُ المُكَرَّمُ
And this is the honorable Rajab
Na huyu ndiye Rajab mtukufu
الَّذِيْ اَكْرَمْتَنَا بِهِ اَوّلُ اَشهُرِ الْحُرُمِ
With which you honored us at the beginning of the sacred months.
ambayo ulituheshimu nayo mwanzoni mwa miezi mitakatifu.
اَكْرَمْتَنَا بِهِ مِنْ بَيْنِ الْأُمَمِ
You have honored us with it from among the nations.
Umetuheshimu kwayo kutoka miongoni mwa mataifa.
يَا ذَا الجُوْدِ وَ الكَرَمِ
O You who are generous and generous
Ewe uliye mkarimu na mkarimu
فَنَسْاَلُكَ بِهِ وَ بِاسْمِكَ الْاَعْظَمِ الْاَعْظَمِ الْاَعْظَمِ
So we ask you by it and in your name, the greatest, the greatest, the greatest.
Kwa hiyo tunakuomba kwa hilo na kwa jina lako, mkubwa zaidi, mkubwa zaidi, mkuu zaidi.
الْاجَلِّ الْاَكْرَمِ
The most generous
Mkarimu zaidi
الَّذِيْ خَلَقْتَهُ فَاسْتَقَرَّ فِي ظِلَّكَ
whom you created, and he resides in your shade
uliyemuumba, naye anakaa katika kivuli chako
فَلَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْكَ اِلَى غَيْرِكَ
It does not go out from you to anyone else
Haitoki kutoka kwako kwenda kwa mtu mwingine yeyote
آَنْ تُصَلَّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَدٍ وَ اَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الطَاهِرِيْنَ
To bless Muhammad and his pure family
Kumbariki Muhammad na familia yake safi
وَ تَجْعَلَنَا مِنَ الْعَامِلِيْنَ فِيْهِ بِطَاعَتِكَ
And make us among those who work therein in obedience to You.
Na utujaalie tuwe miongoni mwa wafanyao kazi humo kwa kukutii Wewe.
وَ الْأَمِلِيْنَ فِيْهِ بِشَفَاعَتِكَ.
And those who hope for it through your intercession.
Na wale wanao itaraji kwa uombezi wako.
اَللَّهُمّ وَ اهْدِنَا إِلَى سَوَاءِ السَّبِيْلِ
Oh God, guide us to the right path.
Ee Mungu, tuongoze kwenye njia iliyo sawa.
وَ اجَعَلْ مَقِيْلَنَا عِنْدَكَ خَيْرَ مَقِيْلٍ فِي ظِلّ ظَلِيْلِ
And make our resting place with You the best resting place in the shade.
Na ufanye mahali petu pa kupumzikia kwako kuwa mahali pazuri pa kupumzikia kivulini.
فَاِنَّكَ حَسْبُنَا وَ نِعْمَ الْوَكِيْلَ
You are sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
Wewe unatutosheleza, na Yeye ndiye mbora wa kusimamia mambo.
وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ الْمُصطَفَيْنَ
And peace be upon His chosen servants
Na amani iwe juu ya waja wake wateule
وَ صَلَوَاتُهُ عَلَيْهِمْ اَجْمَعِيْنَ
O spreader, O forgiver
Na baraka zake ziwe juu yao wote
اَللَّهُمَ وَ بَارِك لَنَا فِي يَوْمِنَا هَذَا الَّذِي فَضِّلْتَهُ
Oh God, and bless for us this day that you have favored.
Ee Mungu, na utubariki kwa ajili yetu siku hii ya leo uliyoipendelea.
وَ بِكَرَامَتِكَ جَلِّلْتَهُ
And with your dignity you glorified him
Na kwa heshima yako ulimtukuza
وَ بِالْمَنْزِلِ الْاَعْلَى اَنْزَلْتَهُ
And by the highest station You sent it down
Na kwa kituo cha juu kabisa Umeiteremsha
صَلَّ عَلَى مَنْ فِيْهِ اِلْى عِبَادِكَ اَرْسَلْتَهُ
Bless those who are in it. To Your servants You have sent
Wabariki waliomo ndani yake. Kwa waja wako uliowatuma
وَ بِالْمَحَلَّ الْكَرِيْمِ اَخْلَلْتَهُ
And with the noble place I mixed it
Na mahali pa heshima nilichanganya
اَللّهُمّ صَلَّ عَلَيْهِ صَلَاةً دَآئِمَةً تَكُوْنُ لَكَ شُكْرًا
Oh God, bless him with a lasting blessing that will be your gratitude.
Ee Mungu, umbariki kwa baraka ya kudumu ambayo itakuwa shukurani yako.
وَ لَنَا ذُخْرًا
And we have a reserve
Na tunayo hifadhi
وَ اجْعَلَ لَنَا مِنْ اَمْرِنَا يُسْرًا
And make our affairs easy for us
Na utufanyie wepesi mambo yetu
وَ اخْتِمْ لَنَا بِالسَّعَادَةِ اِلْى مُثْتَهَىٰ أَجَالِنَا
And end with happiness for the rest of our lives.
Na kuishia na furaha kwa maisha yetu yote.
وَ قَدْ قَبِلْتَ الْيَسِيْرَ مِنْ اَعْمَالِنَا
You have accepted the simplest of our deeds.
Umekubali rahisi zaidi ya matendo yetu.
وَ بَلَّغْتَنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ اَفْضَلَ أَمَالِنَا
By your mercy, you have made us attain our best hopes.
Kwa rehema zako, umetufanya kufikia matumaini yetu bora.
إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
Indeed, You have power over all things
Hakika Wewe ni Muweza juu ya kila kitu
وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ.
May God’s blessings and peace be upon Muhammad and his family.
Rehema na amani za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu ya Muhammad na familia yake.
