Glory be to Him who is in the graves, His decree is
Ametakasika aliye makaburini, na hukumu yake ni
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِيْ فِي الْبَخْرِ سَبِيْلُهُ
Glory be to Him whose path is in vaporization
Ewe Mwenye kurehemu kuliko wanao rehemu.
سُبْحَانَ الَذِيْ فِي النَّارِ سُلْطَانُهُ
Glory be to Him whose authority is in the fire
Ametakasika ambaye mamlaka yake yako motoni

Glory be to Him whose mercy is in Paradise

Glory be to Him who is just in the resurrection.
Ametakasika aliye mwadilifu katika ufufuo.
سُبْحَانَ الَذِيْ رَفَعَ السَّمَاءَ
Glory be to Him who raised the sky
Ametakasika Aliyeinua mbingu
سُبْحَانَ الَذِيْ بَسَطَ الْأَرْضَ
Glory be to Him who spread out the earth
Ametakasika Aliyeitandaza ardhi
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِيْ لَا مَلْجَاَ وَ لَا مَتْجَى مِنْهُ اِلَّا اِلَيْهِ.
Glory be to Him, from whom there is no refuge or refuge except to Him.

يُخيِيْ وَ يُمِيْتُ

وَ يُمِيْتُ وَ يُخِيِيْ
And he kills and he makes me sick

وَ هُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُؤْتُ
And He is alive and does not die

بِيَدِهِ الخَيْرُ
All goodness is at His Hand,

وَ هُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءِ قَدِيْرٌ.
And He has power over all things.

اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ الَّذِيْ لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا هُوَ
I ask forgiveness from God, besides whom there is no god
Naomba msamaha kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye hapana mungu isipokuwa yeye
الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّوْمُ وَ اَتُوْبُ اِلَيْهِ
The Ever-Living, the Eternal, and I turn to Him

يَا اَللهُ
O Allah!
Ee Mwenyezi Mungu!
يَا رَحْمْنُ
O Most Merciful
Ewe Mwenye kurehemu
يَا رَحِيْمُ

O Fashioner of the heavens and the earth!

يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ
O Lord of Majesty and Dignity!
Ee Mwenye Utukufu na Heshima!
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّوْمُ
O Ever-living! O Self-Subsistent!
Ee Hai! Ee Msimamizi!
يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ-
Oh tenderness, oh mannan -
Ah huruma, oh mannan -
يَا لَا اِلَهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ
Oh, there is no god but You

O who is closer to me than my jugular vein

O He who comes between a person and his heart
Ewe Ambaye huja baina ya mtu na moyo wake
يَا مَنْ هُوَ بِالْمَنْظَرِ الْاَعْلَى وَ بِالْأُفُقِ الْمُبِيْنِ
O He who is in the highest view and the clear horizon
Ewe Aliye katika mtazamo wa juu kabisa na upeo ulio wazi
يَا مَنْ هَوَ الرَّحْمْنُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ اسْتَوْى
O He who is the Most Merciful, above the Throne.
Ewe Ambaye ni Mwingi wa Rehema, juu ya Arshi.
يَا مَنْ ليْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ
O He, there is nothing like Him
Ewe Yeye, hakuna kitu kama Yeye
وَ هُوَ السَّمِيْعُ البَصيْرُ
And with him were two spoils of war
Naye ni Mwenye kusikia, Mwenye kuona
آَسآَلُكَ آَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِ مُحَمَّدٍ

وَاصَلَّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِهِ فِي الْمَلَاِ الْاَعْلَى
And bless Muhammad and his family in the highest assembly
Na mbariki Muhammad na aali zake katika mkutano mkuu
وَ صَلَّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الهِ فِي الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
And bless Muhammad and his family among the messengers
Na mbariki Muhammad na aali zake miongoni mwa Mitume
اَللّهُمَّ اَعْطِ مُحَمَّدًا وَالَهُ
Oh God, grant Muhammad and his family
Ewe Mola mjalie Muhammad na Aali zake
الْوَسِيْلَةَ وَ الْفَضِيْلَةَ
The means and the virtue

وَ الشَّرَفَ وَ الرِّفْعَةَ
And honor and exaltation
Na heshima na utukufu
وَ الدَّرَجَةَ الكَبِيْرَةَ
And the great degree
Na daraja kubwa
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّيّ اَمَنْتُ بِمُحَمَّدٍ
Oh God, I have believed in Muhammad
Ee Mungu, nimemuamini Muhammad
صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ ألِهِ وَ لَمْ آَرَهُ
May God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and I did not see him
Sala na amani za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake na familia yake, na sikumuona
فَلا تَخرِمْنِيْ فِيْ [يَوْمَ] الْقِيَامَةِ رُوَّيَتَهُ
So do not deceive me on the Day of Resurrection. I narrated it.

وَ اززُقْنِيْ صُخْبَتَهُ
And his noise disturbed me
Na kelele zake zilinisumbua
وَ تَوَفَّنِيْ عَلَى مِلّتِهِ
And let me die following his religion
Na nife nikifuata dini yake
وَ اسْقِنِيْ مِنْ حَوْضِهِ
And give me water from its basin
Na unipe maji kutoka kwenye beseni lake
مَشْرَبًا رَوِيَّا
A drink full of water
Kinywaji kilichojaa maji
سَائِفًا هَنِيْئًا
Have a good trip

لَا اَظْمَاً بَعْدَهُ اَبَدًا
I will never be thirsty after that
Sitakuwa na kiu baada ya hapo
اِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
Indeed, You are over all things competent.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّيّ أمَنُتُ بِمُحَمَّدٍ
Oh God, I believe in Muhammad
Ee Mungu, ninamwamini Muhammad
صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ الِهِ وَ لَمْ آَرَهُ
May the peace and blessings of God be upon him and his family, and I did not see him
Amani na baraka za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake na familia yake, na sikumuona
فَعَرِّفْنِيْ فِيْ الْجِنَانِ وَجَهَهُ
So he made his face known to me in Paradise

اَللّهُمَّ بَلَغْ مُحَمَّدًا
Oh God, convey the message to Muhammad
Ewe Mola mfikishie ujumbe Muhammad
صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ الِهِ

مِنَّيْ تَحِيَّةُ كَثِيْرَةً وَ سَلَامًا

وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ مَعَ كُلِّ آَحَدٍ،
And Glory be to God with every one,
Na ametakasika Mwenyezi Mungu na kila mtu.
وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ يَبْقَى رَبُّنَا وَيَفْنِى كُلَّ آَحَدٍ،
Glory be to God, our Lord endures and everyone perishes.
Utukufu ni wa Mwenyezi Mungu, Mola wetu Mlezi anavumilia na kila mtu anaangamia.
وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ تَسْبِيْحًا يَفْضُلُ تَسْبِيحَ الْمُسَبَّحِيْنَ
And Glory be to God, a glorification that excels the glorification of those who praise Him
Na ametakasika Mwenyezi Mungu, utukufu unaopita utukufu wa wale wanaomhimidi
فَضْلًا كَثِيرًا قَبْلَ كُلِّ آَحَدٍ،
Much grace before every Sunday,
Neema nyingi kabla ya kila Jumapili,
وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ تَسْبِيْحًا يَفْضُلُ تَسْبِيحَ الْمُسَبَّحِيْنَ
And Glory be to God, a glorification that excels the glorification of those who praise Him
Na ametakasika Mwenyezi Mungu, utukufu unaopita utukufu wa wale wanaomhimidi
فَضْلًا كَثِيْرًا بَعدَ كُلَّ آَحَدٍ،
Much grace after every Sunday,

وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ تَسْبِيْحًا يَفْضُلُ تَسْبِيحَ الْمُسَبَّحِيْنَ
And Glory be to God, a glorification that excels the glorification of those who praise Him
Na ametakasika Mwenyezi Mungu, utukufu unaopita utukufu wa wale wanaomhimidi
فَضْلًا كَثِيْرًا مَعَ كُلَّ آَحَدٍ،
Much kindness to everyone,
Fadhili nyingi kwa kila mtu,
وَسُبْحَانَ اللّهِ تَسْبِيْحًا يَفْضُلُ تَسْبِيْحَ الْمُسَبَّحِيْنَ
And Khaled, and Hanzala, and Luqman
Na ametakasika Mwenyezi Mungu, utukufu unaopita utukufu wa wale wanaomtakasa Mwenyezi Mungu.
فَضْلًا كَثِيْرًا لِرَبَّنَا الْبَاقِى وَيَفْنى كُلَّ آَحَدٍ،
Much grace to our Lord, who endures and every one perishes.
Neema nyingi zimwendee Mola wetu Mlezi anaye vumilia na kila mmoja anaangamia.
وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ تَسْبِيْحًا لَا يُخْصَى وَلَا يُذْرُى
Glory be to God, praise be to Him who is not castrated or castrated.
Ametakasika Mwenyezi Mungu, sifa njema ni zake asiyehasiwa wala kuhasiwa.
وَلَا يُنْسُى وَلَا يَبْلِىٰ
It will not be forgotten or worn out
Haitasahaulika au kuchakaa
وَلَا يَفْنِى وَلَيْسَ لَهُ مُثْتَهُى،
It does not fade away, and it has no final destination.
Haififii, na haina hatima ya mwisho.
وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ تَسْبِيْحًا يَدُوْمُ بِدَوَامِهِ
Glory be to God, a praise that lasts forever.
Utukufu ni wa Mungu, sifa idumuyo milele.
وَيَبْقَى بِبَقَائِهِ فِىْ سِنْى الْعَالَمِيْنَ

مُغْتَرِفًا بِاَنْ لَا حُجَّةَ لِيْ وَ لَا عُذْرَ

أَتَيْتُكَ اَرْجُوْ عَظِيْمَ عَفْوِكَ

وَ لَا تُمَكِّنْهُ مِنْ عُنْقِيْ

اَللَّهُمَ [اِلْهِيْ] إِنْ وَضَعْتَنِي فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذِيْ يَزْفَعُنِي

Ee Mungu [Mungu wangu], kama ukinishusha, ni nani awezaye kuniinua?
وَ اِنْ رَفَعْتَنِيْ فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذِيْ يَضَعْنِيْ

Na ukininyanyua ni nani atakayenishusha?
وَ اِن اَهْلَكْتَنِيْ فَمَنْ ذَا الَذِيْ يَعْرِضُ لَكَ فِي عَبْدِكَ
And if you destroy me, who is there that will appear to you in your servant?
Na ukiniangamiza, ni nani atakayeonekana kwako katika mtumishi wako?
أَوْ يَسْاَلَكَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِ،

وَ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ آَنَّهُ لَيْسَ فِي حُكْمِكَ ظُلْمٌ

وَلَا فِي نَقِمَتِكَ عَجَلَةُ
There is no haste in Your vengeance

وَ اِنَّمَا يَعْجَلُ مَنْ يَخَافُ الْفَوْتَ
And only he who fears missing out hastens.
Na ni yule tu anayeogopa kukosa ndiye anayefanya haraka.
وَ اِنَّمَا يَختَاجُ إِلَى الظُلْمِ الضَّعِيْفُ
And he seeks only the weak injustice.

وَ قَدْ تَعَالَيْتَ يَآ اِلْهِيْ عَنْ ذَلِكَ عُلَوًا كَبِيرًا
O my God, You are greatly exalted above that.

اَللَهُمَّ إِنَّيْ آَعُوْذُ بِكَ فَاعِذْنِيْ

Ee Mwenyezi Mungu, najikinga Kwako, basi nisaidie
وَ اَسْتَجِيْرُ بِكَ فَاجِزْنِيْ
And I seek refuge in You, so reward me
Na najikinga Kwako, basi unilipe
وَ اَسْتَرْزِقْكَ فَازْزُقْنِيْ
And I ask you for sustenance, so provide for me
Na nakuomba riziki, basi niruzuku
وَ أَتَوَكِّلُ عَلَيْكَ فَاكْفِنِيْ
And I trust in you, so be sufficient for me
Na mimi nakuamini, basi nitoshee
وَ اَسْتَثْصِرُكَ عَلَى عَدُوِّي [عَدُوّكَ] فَانْصُرْنِيْ
And I seek your victory over my enemy [your enemy], so support me.
Na ninakutafutia ushindi juu ya adui yangu [adui yako], basi nisaidie.
وَ اَسْتَعِيْنُ بِكَ فَاعِنَّيْ
And I seek your help, so help me
Na naomba msaada wako, basi nisaidie
وَ اَسْتَغْفِرُكَ يَآ اِلْهِيْ فَاغْفِزْ لِيْ
And I ask your forgiveness, O my God, so forgive me
