AAMAL YA KAWAIDA KATIKA KILA MISIKU MATATU YA QADR Kwanza: Inapendekezwa kuoga katika kila mikesha ya Qadr. Kwa mujibu wa 'Allamah al-Majlisi, ni vyema kuoga wakati wa kuzama kwa jua ili kuwa tayari kwa ajili ya Isha'.

اَللّهُمَّ إِنِّي اَساَلُكَ بِكِتَابِكَ الْمُنْزَلِ وَمَا فِيْهِ
Oh God, I ask you by your revealed book and what is in it
Ewe Mola wangu nakuuliza kwa kitabu chako kilichoteremshwa na yaliyomo ndani yake
وَفِيْهِ اسْمُكَ الْأَكْبَرُ وَاسْمَاؤُكَ الْحُسْشى،
And in it is your greatest name and your names Al-Husha,
Na ndani yake yamo jina lenu kuu na majina yenu Al-Husha.
وَمَا يُخَافٌ وَيُرْجِر
And what is feared and what is hoped for
Na nini kinaogopwa na kinachotarajiwa
آَنْ تَجْعَلَنِي مِنْ عُتَقَآئِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ.
That you make me one of your liberators from the Fire.
Kwamba unifanye kuwa miongoni mwa wakombozi wako na Moto.

Then, one may pray God to fulfill one's desires.

اَللهُمَّ بِحَقُّ هَذَا الْقُزْانِ،
Oh God, for the sake of this cup,
Ee Mungu, kwa ajili ya kikombe hiki,
وَبِحَقَّ مَنْ اَرْسَلتَهُ بِهِ،
And by the right of the one with whom you sent it,
Na kwa haki ya yule uliyemtuma naye.
وَبِحَقُّ كُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ مَدَحْتَهُ فِيْهِ،
By the right of every believer you praised him for it.
Kwa haki ya kila Muumini ulimsifu kwa hilo.
وَبِحَقُّكَ عَلَيْهِمْ،
And by Your right over them,
Na kwa haki yako juu yao.
فَلَا آَحَدَ اَعْرَفُ بِحَقَّكَ مِنْكَ
No one knows your truth better than you
Hakuna anayejua ukweli wako kuliko wewe

Then, one should repeat each of the following ten times:
Kisha, mtu anapaswa kurudia kila moja ya mara kumi zifuatazo:
بِكَ يَا اَللهُ
Through you, O God

Eighth: It is recommended to say the following supplicatory

اَللَّهُمّ إِنِّي اَمْسَيْتُ لَكَ عَبْدًا دَاخِرًا،
Oh God, I have become your devoted servant,
Ee Mungu, nimekuwa mtumishi wako mwaminifu,
لَا آَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِي نَفْعًا وَلَا ضَرًّا،
I do not wish myself any benefit or harm.
Sijitakii faida wala madhara.
وَلَا اَضرِفُ عَنْهَا سُوءًا،
And I will not harm her,
Na sitamdhuru,
اَشهَدُ بِذَلِكَ عَلَى نَفْسِيْ،
I bear this witness against myself,
Natoa ushahidi huu dhidi yangu mwenyewe,
وَاَغْتَرِفُ لَكَ بِضَعِفِ قُوَّتِي،
And I forgive you for the weakness of my strength,
Na ninakusamehe kwa udhaifu wa nguvu yangu,
وَقِلَّةٍ جِيْلَتِي،
And the scarcity of my generation,
Na uhaba wa kizazi changu,
فَصَلَّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَألِ مُحَمَّدٍ،
So bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad,
Basi mbariki Muhammad na Aali Muhammad.
وَانْجِزْ لِيْ مَا وَعَدْتَنِيْ،
And fulfill for me what you promised me,
Na unitimizie uliyoniahidi.
وَجَمِيْعَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ،
And all believing men and women,
Na Waumini wote wanaume na Waumini wanawake.
مِنَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ فِيْ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ،
Of forgiveness on this night,
Kwa msamaha usiku huu,
وَاَثْمِمْ عَلَيَّ مَا أَتَيْتَنِي،
And blame me for what you have given me,
Na unilaumu kwa yale uliyonipa,
فَاِنَّي عَبْدُكَ الْمِسْكِيْنُ الْمُسْتَكِنيْنُ
For I am Your poor servant, who dwells in refuge.
Kwa maana mimi ni mtumishi wako maskini, ambaye anakaa katika kimbilio.
الضَّعِيْفُ الْفَقِيْرُ الْمَهِيْنُ،
The weak, the poor, the humiliated,
Wanyonge, maskini, waliofedheheshwa,
اَللَّهُمّ لَا تَجْعَلْنِنْ نَاسِيًا لِذِكْرِكَ فِيمَا اَوْلَيْتَنِن،
Oh God, do not make us forget your remembrance of what You have given us.
Ewe Mola, usitusahaulisha ukumbusho wako wa uliyotupa.
وَلَا لِإِحسَانِكَ فِيْمَا اَعْطَيْتَنِي،
Nor because of your goodness in what you have given me,
Wala kwa wema wako katika ulichonipa,
وَلَا أيِسًا مِنْ اِجَابَتِكَ وَاِنْ أَبْطَاَتَ عَنَّيْ،
I am not disappointed in your answer, even if you delay me.
Sijakatishwa tamaa na jibu lako, hata ukinichelewesha.
فِي سَرَّاءَ اَوْ ضَرَاءَ،
In good times or bad,
Katika nyakati nzuri au mbaya,
اَوْ شِدَّةَ اَوْ رَخَآءَ،
Or hardship or ease,
Au shida au urahisi,
أَوْ عَافِيَةٍ اَوْ بَلاءِ،
Or wellness or affliction,
Au afya au shida,
أَوْ بُؤْسِ اَوْ نَعْمَاءَ،
Or misery or bliss,
Na rehema zako na wema wako huteremka humo.
اِنَّكَ سَمِيْعُ الدُّعَاءِ.
You are the Hearer of supplication.
Wewe ndiye Mwenye kusikia maombi.
