Instructions
Third: In his book of al-Misbah, Shaykh al-Tusi mentions that al-Mu'alla ibn Khunays has reported Imam Ja'far al-Sadig (a.s.) as saying, "In Rajab, you may say the following supplicatory prayer:
Tatu: Katika kitabu chake cha al-Misbah, Shaykh al-Tusi anataja kwamba al-Mu'alla ibn Khunays amempokea Imam Ja'far al-Sadig (a.s.) akisema, "Katika Rajab, unaweza kuswali ifuatayo ya dua:
اَللَهُمّ إِنَّي آَسالَكَ صَبْرَ الشَّاكِرِيْنَ لَكَ
Oh God, I ask you for the patience of those who are thankful for you
Ee Mungu nakuomba subira ya wanaokushukuru
وَ عَمَلَ الخَائِفِيْنَ مِنْكَ
And the work of those who are afraid of you
Na kazi ya wale wanaokuogopa
وَ يَقِيْنَ الْعَابِدِيْنَ لَكَ
And the certainty of those who worship You
Na hakika ya wanaokuabudu
اَللّهُمّ اَنْتَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
Oh God, You are the Most High, the Great
Ee Mungu, Wewe ndiwe Uliye juu, Mkuu
وَ آَنَا عَبْدُكَ الْبَائِسُ الْفَقِيْرُ
And I am your wretched and poor servant.
Na mimi ni mtumishi wako mnyonge na maskini.
أَنْتَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ
You are the rich, the praiseworthy
Nyinyi ni tajiri, msifiwa
وَ اَنَا الْعَبْدُ الذَّلِيْلُ
And I am the humiliated servant
Na mimi ndiye mja aliyefedheheka
اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ ألهِ
There is nothing like Him
Na hakuna anga yenye nyota
وَ امْتُنْ بِغِنَاكَ عَلَى فَقْرِيْ
And be grateful for your wealth over my poverty
Na shukuru kwa mali yako juu ya umasikini wangu
وَ بِحِلْمِكَ عَلَى جَهْلِيْ
And with your clemency against my ignorance
Na kwa huruma yako dhidi ya ujinga wangu
وَ بِقُوَتِكَ عَلَى ضَعْفِيْ
And with your strength over my weakness
Na kwa nguvu zako juu ya udhaifu wangu
يَا قَوِيُّ يَا عَزِيْزُ
Oh strong, oh dear
Ah nguvu, oh mpenzi
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَالهِ
O God, bless Muhammad and his family
Ewe Mola mrehemu Muhammad na Aali zake
الاَوْصِيَاءِ الْمَرْضِيِّيْنَ
Satisfactory guardians
Walinzi wa kuridhisha
وَ اكْفِنِي مَا اَهَمَّنِي مِنْ آَمْرِ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ
And protect me from what worries me about the affairs of this world and the hereafter.
Na unilinde na yale yanayonitia wasiwasi katika mambo ya dunia na akhera.
يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.
O Most Merciful of those who are merciful.
Ewe Mwenye kurehemu kuliko wanao rehemu.
