Siku ya 2
اَللَّهُمّ قَرِّبْنِي فِيْهِ إِلَى مَرْضَاتِكَ،
Oh God, bring me closer to Your pleasure,
Ee Mungu, nilete karibu na radhi yako,
وَجَنَّبْنِيْ فِيْهِ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ وَنَقِمَاتِكَ،
And spare me from Your wrath and your vengeance,
Na uniepushe na ghadhabu Yako na kisasi chako,
وَوَفْقْنِي فِيْهِ لِقِرَآءَةٍ أيَاتِكَ
And grant me success therein to recite Your verses
Na nifanikishe humo kuzisoma Aya zako
بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ.
By your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
Kwa rehema zako, Ewe Mwenye kurehemu kuliko wanaorehemu.
