1ST NIGHT OF SHAWWAL The first night of Shawwal is one of the blessed nights. Many narrations have referred to the great merits and rewards of those who spend this night, as a whole, with acts of worship.
USIKU WA 1 WA SHAWWAL Usiku wa kwanza wa Shawwal ni mojawapo ya mikesha yenye baraka. Riwaya nyingi zimetaja sifa na thawabu kubwa za wale wanaokesha usiku huu kwa ujumla wao kwa ibada.

Moreover, some narrations have mentioned that this night is not less blessed than the Qadr Night. The devotional acts at this night are as follows:
Zaidi ya hayo, baadhi ya riwaya zimetaja kwamba usiku huu si chini ya kubarikiwa kuliko Usiku wa Qadr. Matendo ya ibada usiku huu ni kama ifuatavyo:

First: It is recommended to bathe oneself at sunset.
Kwanza: Inapendekezwa kuoga wakati wa kuzama kwa jua.

Second: It is recommended to spend the whole night with offering prayers, supplicating, imploring for forgiveness, and staying at mosques.
Pili: Inapendekezwa kukaa usiku mzima kwa kuswali, kuomba dua, kuomba msamaha, na kukaa misikitini.

Third: It is recommended to say the following doxology (zikr) after the obligatory Maghrib Prayer, Isha' Prayer, Fajr Prayer, and the 'ld al-Fitr Prayer:
Tatu: Inapendekezwa kusema doksolojia (zikr) ifuatayo baada ya Swala ya Faradhi ya Maghrib, Sala ya Ishaa, Swala ya Alfajiri, na Swala ya 'ld al-Fitr.
اَللهُ اَكْبَرُ
God is great
Mungu ni mkuu

لَا اِلْهَ اِلَّا اللهُ
There is no god save Allah.
Hapana mungu ila Mwenyezi Mungu.

وَ للهِ الْحَمْدُ

Praise be to God for what He has guided us

And to Him belongs gratitude for what He has given us.

وَ اغْفِزْ لِيْ
And forgive me
Na unisamehe
كُلَّ ذَنْبِ اَخصَيْتَهُ
Every sin I castrated
Kila dhambi niliihasi
وَ هُوَ عِنْدَكَ فِيْ كِتَابٍ مُبِيْنِ.
And it is with you in a clear Book.

O chosen one of Muhammad and his supporter,
