First: It is recommended to observe fasting on this day, for its reward is equal to the reward of eighty-month worship.
Kwanza: Inapendekezwa kufunga siku hii, kwani malipo yake ni sawa na malipo ya ibada ya miezi themanini.

Second: It is recommended to offer Salat Fatimah. According to Shaykh al-Tusi, this prayer consists of four units each couple of which are offered separately. At each unit, Surah al- Faatehah is recited once and Surah al-Tawheed repeated fifty
Pili: Inapendekezwa kuswali Swala ya Fatimah. Kwa mujibu wa Shaykh al-Tusi, swala hii ina rakaa nne ambazo kila wanandoa huswaliwa kivyake. Katika kila rakaa, Surah al-Faatehah inasomwa mara moja na Sura ya Tawhiyd inarudiwa hamsini.
